Having said that, his bed side manner is direct and not for everyone, but I always appreciated his no- nonsense approach to the truth. Regardless, the man was brilliant at treating me and my family. There was never an ailment or medical condition he did not diagnose 1st or correctly for me, (and I have had many severe upper respiratory issues; asthma; cardio vascular disease, diabetes, odd allergies no one could diagnose or treat; and Dr Enrique even prescribed preventive actions to prevent severe symptoms during peak allergy periods and during cold & flu seasons ! Over the years I have passed these techniques/ strategies to others and have helped Dr Enrique create his own sample community of healthier people battling my same issues in challenging environments. Dr. Enrique took great care of my family of 5 for 2 generations. Enjoy your retirement, Dr. You have earned it. Thank you for the years of great medical care and attention!

I have been billed twice for a full visit showing I had no insurance, when I do, and have given it to them every time I was there. I called and asked for a refill, they argued with me that I never had that medication. I have, and John Muir filled it no problem. I left a message asking for Dr Enrique to call me so I could tell him the above, I have never gotten a call back. Stay away!!!

I also have to pay an unexpected lab bill. During my spouse's appointment (a few days after my new patient appointment), I addressed the medication concern and the urgency of getting them filled. To my surprise, Dr. Syed stated, "Just because you bring a medication to me, doesn't mean I will prescribe it." I can understand this statement if she would have addressed her concerns when I was in front of her during my visit, but she did not! Additionally, she coded routine thyroid bloodwork as diagnostic and refused to re-code it. Thus, I am now having to pay an unexpected lab bill. I addressed my concerns with the provider. In the end, she prescribed the medications I needed but then took her time in providing the insurance company with the prior authorizations they required. This resulted in delaying the scripts from being filled as mentioned above. The entire encounter has caused me undue stress, and countless hours on the phone to sort out, not to mention the fallout from being taken off two of my medications so drastically. Do not recommend.

Even though this note was clearly posted, she told me she would not check me in and instructed me to wait in front of the closed Door 200. I followed her instructions and waited there. Later, another staff member came looking for me and asked why I had not checked in at Door 201. She explained that she had been calling my name but could not find me. I then explained that I was told by the front desk staff member to wait in front of the closed Door 200 instead of checking in at Door 201. In contrast, her coworker with brown hair was very friendly and provided excellent assistance. This situation caused unnecessary confusion and delay, and it could have been easily avoided if I had been properly assisted.
