This company also uses the name dr pool or dr pools of miami…read more This was the worst experience possible. From the first day they were supposed to start they didnt show up and didnt call. Every aspect of our pool remodel was done incorrectly. The coping was installed sticking up 4 inches in spots . They grouted the tile before the thinset on the tile was dry and the grout cracked. They installed the skimmer incorrectly and it is crushed on both sides . To fix this they cut the door with a grinder and it looks like it's going to crack. They didnt prepare the pool surface or clean it properly before the plaster. There are waves in the plaster and they over did the acid wash at the end. They pitted the surface of the pool with the acid and the pool takes the skin off the kids toes. It's like walking on 80 grit sand paper. They didnt cover the drain when they demolished the pool and washed all the debris into the drain pipe. When we turned on the pump the lines were clogged and the brand new pump was damaged by the debris. They broke the screw off for the light and installed a rigged screw with a washer on the back. The light fell off and was laying in the bottom of the pool. They took a grinder the the sides of the pool and made it worse trying to fix it. The response to every concern we had was ignored and the entire pool needs to be demolished and redone. The pool is now leaking 4 inches of water per day. These people aren't coming back and will not repair anything correctly. I hope this review saves someone else from making the mistake of hiring this company.

Overall, I would highly recommend Swimming Pools of Florida. They're competitively priced, offer a…read morequality product, and the customer service experience was top notch. We sourced two other quotes from larger pool companies, and the comparable quotes were all within $2,000 of each other. We chose Swimming Pools of Florida because Javier, the owner, was our main point of contact. His experience and patience allowed us to build exactly what we wanted, and within our budget. We ran into several issues that Javier helped resolve. One major issue was access to our backyard was very tight, and if we couldn't dig with a larger excavator it would have cost thousands more. The other pool companies would not work with us if we couldn't get access from the neighbor's yard. Javier called my neighbor, explained the process, timeline, and assured him that everything on his property would look like it did before. The timing from contract to swimming was longer than we expected, but most of that due to permitting. Two years later, we are totally happy with the pool. The office staff at SPoFL is also very professional and responsive. I recently had the LED screen on my pool heater go out. They immediately addressed the issue, contacting the manufacturer for a work order and replaced the part under warranty for free within a couple days. Knowing that Javier has a lot of industry contacts, I also reached out to get a referral for a reputable company to replace my septic tank. Two years later, I left him a voicemail and he called me back immediately. I'm now under contract with that company. From my experience working with contractors in South Florida, Swimming Pools of Florida was a pleasure to work with.

PARAMOUNT POOL (Andy) did a service call for our pool. He not only conducted a comprehensive…read moreinspection of our pool's equipment, but also took the time to troubleshoot other issues with the suction valves. Andy was very professional throughout the process. In the 20 years of using different pool companies, Paramount is at the top of my list. I had a new Jandy Pool pump installed last August 2025. The water reservoir wasn't filling to the top, and our pool cleaner wasn't working--also, there were some bubbling noises inside two of the pool valves. I contacted several pool companies by phone and provided pictures to diagnose that my suction valves were old and needed to be replaced, and that my pool cleaner had a leak. I found Paramount on the Jandy website as a warranty service provider. Andy texted me right away and answered all questions promptly. He took the time to provide several troubleshooting tips via text before scheduling a service call. He alerted us prior to his arrival time and conducted a detailed inspection by removing each valve to check for leaks. He located a minor leak in one of the valves and patched it. My pool cleaner did not have a leak, as it started working after the valve was repaired. He noted that the other three valves, although old, are in good working condition and should be replaced when they start to fail. He fixed the issue with our pump and corrected the bubbling noises. My pool is in excellent working condition and running efficiently. I highly recommend Andy for any pool services, as he exceeded expectations with every service he provided. I'm happy to say that we have a pool servicing company for any future needs. GREAT JOB ANDY!
