The process to speak with a live person is terrible and that's being nice. The automated system can never find your account and they never connect you with a live person. the service is ok at best but the customer service is awful. Do not recommend!!! And, in my opinion, they are overpriced. Not a good value at all. read more

We recently moved here and the first major thing on our to-do list was get internet! There sadly aren't many options for internet providers here in Central PA so we headed to Comcast. It's little bit far out and doesn't look like a customer service/retail center but it is! Don't let the industrial building scare you off. We walked in and were helped immediately. The guy who helped us explained our options clearly and got us set up right away. It was a very smooth process, and surprisingly pleasant because I expected the worse (slow service, unpleasant employees). Not the case here! Very glad we went to this location. read more

chatted with comcast for 90 min. about sending email and at the end, only upon repeated and direct questioning, the agent replied that he was sorry to admit that he could neither see nor change ports, but he was able to confirm that I was someone he could talk with. Nice guy though, not kidding, and trying to be helpful. then the help phone line, who was very nice, eventually admitted that they could see ports, but were not allowed to open them. this only took 45 min. this time. no one I've spoken to is surprised, but I feel like I'm getting 8/10 of the internet I pay for, but really do need that other 10% (the other other 10% I don't need, cat pictures on port feLine). I would totally give zero stars if I can. My laptop cannot connect to the WIFI. I just moved into a new apt five days ago. I called Comcast for 4 hrs to try to get this fix. The only way to fix it is for Comcast to send me a technician. It isn't sth that can be solved via the internet or phone. They tried to direct me to 10 different departments/people. After 5 hours of contacting them, my internet issue hasn't solved and they seem very reluctant to send me technical support. They also asked for $80 to send me a technician. I have never even connected to my wifi in the first place. Why should they charge me? It isn't like I broke it. RIDICULOUS!!!COMCAST needs to hire more technicians. Not everything can be resolved remotely. And your online/call assistants are useless. Juts waste my time and energy. read more
