Wow! This has been quite an experiment in trying to get an old Marine up and running once more. I've been on the phone with 4 different X-employees trying to get internet and multiple TVs operating again. I've felt like a part-time volunteer employee as I've spent quite a bit of time trying to get my business all squared away. Today, I got to see Devin here in the store. I have visited about 4 times over the years. Never had a positive experience. Prior visits were for equipment exchanges, questions about cell phones etc... latest visit was simply to return some new streaming boxes that were sent to me to try. Decided my older Xfinity equipment would suffice, so returned what had been shipped to me to Mt Pleasant store. First Lady was nice but did not know how to process the return. Second women admonished me for not having an appointment (I'm only returning 1 box of unused equipment), and not showing her enough "respect." Very unprofessional imo, nice looking facility, terrible service!! read more

Store people were great. I've had 5-6 appointments cancelled or no show for installation and when they dont show up you go to the back of the line and you get an appointment 10 days out. Pathetic response to calls to try to fix this. read more

Okay, so everyone has their own opinions on the mega giant that is Xfinity. I've been using their services for TV and internet for years. Like many, sometimes I'm happier and other times not so much. Overall, I've been happy enough with it to continue. This review is really more about this specific location. I used to go to the old one in the whole foods plaza and this one is a major upgrade. The old one felt like walking into the DMV waiting for your turn. This new office has couches everywhere, iPads to use while you wait, and product kiosks all over the store (similar to how a cell phone store is usually set up). I came in to set up service at a new location before moving. It turned out that the service we had (not in my name) was still under contract so we kept that deal. I could have started new service under my own name but the current deals didn't change much about our plan. I was able to find out my options and after leaving with a new plan, I changed my mind, called to cancel, and reverted back to the old plan without any hiccups. Then when I moved in that weekend, I transferred my equipment and and had it activated with a somewhat simple phone call. read more

Xfinity Store by Comcast on Bowman Road in Mount Pleasant is a great source for all things phone, cable, and internet service. I like all that the store has to offer and the opportunity to be able to see and try everything in person. The staff here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in being able to answering questions that you have. They provide really good customer service here. read more

The lady infront of me was asking for a receipt and the female employee proceeded to tell her with an attitude "I don't got time for this". umm that is your job, quit then! I went in simply to discuss internet packages for potential subscription. Spent a half hour with Gary as he looked for my south Mt. Pleasant address in his system. Gary then tells me he has to load my drivers license and phone data in his system to discuss internet package. All he kept saying was how secure my data would be with them. Eventually he passes me a laminated sheet with internet data speeds and no pricing. Needless to say, I left and will research myself...horribly uneducated customer service. read more

For a few months Iv'e been trying to resolve a problem with Comcast regarding a promotional offer that I was promised. After several lengthy telephone and online conversations I finally decided to go to the shiny new Infinity store on Bowman Road and try my luck with a human being face to face.While I wasn't very optimistic, I was pleasantly surprised. I told my story one more time to one of the customer support team member, Evon. She was somewhat perplexed at my length explanation, but she persevered and continued to listen. After her immediate attempts to resolve the problems failed, she went further, escaped to the back room and jumped on her laptop. She brought my problem to her supervisor, Harold. Within 20 minutes and with smiling faces all around the problem was resolved and the promises made by Comcast were made whole. So many of us find our cable company interactions so frustrating, and I was expecting to walk out the door feeling dissatisfied. Much to my surprise these two devoted employees were determined to get me what I was promised back in February. My faith in humanity has been restored. read more

This is probably the biggest scam of a service provider in Mt. Pleasant. I've been a customer of them since the early 80' s. The service has gotten worse and the price is exorbitant!! Also the package I signed up with and paid for YEARS, they decided it was no longer available. No explanation or any notice. Their internet is incredibly expensive go with Verizon. conflicted on writing this review, and i may be writing this way too soon but here we go: stopped into xfinity for wifi services and was in and out in 5 minutes, very fast service and wifi works great. employees weren't super helpful on explaining installation, "just plug it in", and obviously it took a little more than plugging it in, but whatever... was told we couldn't pick up our cable boxes at this time and to call a number and come back stopped into xfinity two days later to pick up two cable boxes, and took about 30 minutes of employee confusion to find our account that we just opened. after finding the account, we were given two cable boxes but told one wasn't going to work unless we called ANOTHER phone number. conflicted because so far, impressed with wifi speed and the channels/on demand access that our one working cable box has. however, lack of customer service/information given by employees is frustrating read more

My first visit was about 3 months ago, I was searching for the XFi pods for my house to have WiFi in other rooms I didn't have good connection. My first trip they asked me for my name and asked me to take a seat. I'm waiting for about 10-15 minutes and start to look around for the product I need. I asked a rep and they said they don't believe they have any in stock!! Fantastic, waiting 15 to tell me something u could have said at the door! So I decided to ask if I could purchase the item before it was back in stock and pick them up when they arrived. Very normal thing to do? NOT AT XFINITY. She said I can't pay for them before they are in store ? Whatever I decided to leave very frustrated and as I walk out the door she calls me back. I ignore her and leave. So today I ventured back! Woohoo, I walk in to see an employee in a terrible mood. I say I'm here to buy 3 XFi pods. And he disregarded me and asked for my name. Great start round two. I'm waiting for 15 minutes when the product I want is right on the shelf next to me. I go back to the door employee and ask why I'm waiting behind people with service problems? I just need to purchase these. He says" there are customers ahead of you", literally the stupid answer iv ever heard. I could have been in and out in 2 minutes. So after 20 minutes of sitting not happy. This women decided she would help me. Keep in mind she had been doing nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, since I walked in. Even more pissed now that this girl was doing nothing and then decides to help me. I would give xfinity and this store 0 Stars if possible. It is a waist of time and space when you enter the store. Worst service possible. I can not believe how difficult it is to get service set up. We are on our 5 appointment and three weeks of trying to get reliable service and no resolution. Each time xFinity fails and then we have to start over like we have never had an appointment, they will not escalate the issue regardless of their failure. We have had the worst experience ever! We had cable installed a year ago but they never buried the line. The lawn care people were very careful but then the new lawn service people did not realize the line and cut it. We called to have it repaired and buried last week. They were to come Friday. They did come but did noting. Because the people that cake can only bury the line, they can't fix it. So they left. My husband spent 2 hours on the phone Saturday, spoke with two different supervisors to be told that they would not come out and repair the line until Wednesday. He asked for it to be expedited and was told that they would not expedite a request until after 7 days. So customers must go without cable TV and internet service for at least 7 days before anyone cares! So much for putting the customer first! We are looking into alternatives. This company does not care about customers or the fact they we are without service because if the fact that they did not bury the cable a year ago. Terrible customer service! read more
