Walked into the store behind a woman she began to get helped. The store attendant looked at me, looked down at his iPad and ignored me. Some ladies walk in behind me he jumps to help them. I ask the store attendant excuse me how come they were helped before me. He tells me they were already checked in. That's not the issue so much as I was not greeted an eyelash bat give us a moment or anything. If they were already checked in why did he have to follow up with them without first greeting a new guest walking into the store. It felt very colorist and lack of customer service. 5/7/26- Dangerous location. The employees were letting kids play on scooters inside of the store. My elderly mother was nearly hit three times by them and me once. When I asked an emoyee to do something about them he just walked away. The I told another employee that I wanted to make a formal complaint about the situation and the employee walking away on a customer with safety issues, she took my info, but then also did nothing to make them stop. Scooters and skate boards are not for indoor use and stores should not allow their use inside for customer safety. This place does not care about customer safety. This place is also not ADA complaint since they don't care if disabled people are hurt on their property by kids using outdoor toys inside their store. read more

I'd been paying Xfinity far too much for services and prefer humans to chatbots, so I drove over to their store on Havana with hopes of good service. I will say the people are more engaging than a chatbot, but results are about the same. We dropped our no-longer-available cable package and signed up for 2GB internet. Was told the cheapest cable was $30/month. He left out the $39/month franchise fee. while repeatedly pushing the convo toward their mobile phones. That makes super basic cable $69/month, not $30. Quoted $194 per month for basic cable and their "fastest" internet, got an email later saying it's over $200. This agent knew my goal was less than $200 per month and promised that, but seemed more interested in my getting a mobile phone from them, tbh. Integrity matters. If $204 for 2G internet (1.2 at best so far) and their most anemic cable package (local channels + obscure channels no one watches) sounds good, Comcast might be for you. Went back to return the old outdated modem and asked why my 2GB speed goes as low as 400Mb and no higher than 1.2GB with the new one. Ever. 1MB service prior never got over 800MB, implying it's an issue outside my house. They told me they could send a technician out to inspect. This sounded good until he slipped in that it would be $100. I pay $100 for them to inspect their underperforming equipment??? He wasn't kidding. Hoping it was a joke, I looked for a hidden camera. Nope. Declined the offer, stuck w slow internet. Will be cutting the cord entirely soon and dealing with slower-than-agreed to internet for the rest of the one year contract I was foolish enough to sign. 1.5 stars because they do run an efficient shop w a friendly greeter--it reminds me of the movie "Hostel," but only wallets are eviscerated. read more

They don't wear company IDs, dress casual, act like a high school bunch of immature, rude, hard to tell they are employees. They lack experience. Had bad experience with manager named Alfredo twice in Oct of last year and recently in January. Refused to help resolve remove a security lock set to my xfinity account, said he did not have the ability to help me with that and I would have to call the security department. Told him I have spoken with them many times and they tell me to go back they should be able to help and unlock the account, to have them contact their department, if they do not they are fkn with me, also recommended I go to another store if this location refuses to help.to go back and ask the to call their security dept directly speak with them. Manager Alfredo Alfredo and the other Rep helping thought it was hilariously funny, they were laughing, I told them this is not funny why are they acting this way. I asked if he could repeat what he said so I can record, he said no I cannot record, and kicked me out. I told him fine, I will report him and seek filing a lawsuit. he than said I have to leave the store again. These are shady untrustworthy employees. I have suspect they target customers they don't like and mess with their accounts, private information make unauthorized changes to account and purposely create technical problems such as letting others hack into your service and Private data. I have reported them to the attorney general. I also have called their corporate office to file formal complaint. they have launched an investigation on this location and employees Involved. Law suit is on its way also, and told supervisor Alfredo/Armando he will be in it for sure. Employee names to remember, a Supervisor Alfredo or Armando and Dimitri. I got a phone for my 75-year-old dad they transferred and turned the phone on, but for some reason, they said the code which I was not aware of. I got home to start operating the phone, not realizing there was a code that she set the technician at the store. When I tried to fix it, the manager refuse to get the phone fixed. read more

Do not go into store for any reason. It will cost you money time and headaches. They are only there to sell you. My husband died and I took in his death certificate to have his name removed from the account. When I got back home I had no internet, no landline and no cable. I had to use my cell phone to get customer service to reconnect my services. This was one week of pure pain and the whole time the agents just wanted to fix my cell phone that was working fine. After the week on the cell phone I had used up the month of data on my phone and still had no cable. And as of today, my husband's name is still on the account. I am going to move soon and I will not take any part of Xfinity with me. I Feel that I would have gotten better customer service had I stood up and thrown potatoes at my wall. read more

My initial experience here was an easy five stars. I was initially very pleased with the service and the staff. I didn't have to wait in line and my needs were quickly addressed. I was there to get an upgraded cable box for my dad. Super easy. I just swapped out the old one for the new one. I even was given a live tutorial on how to use it. I was super pleased. Then I got home and it didn't work. It turns out I would also need to upgrade the main DVR in order to use it. My father is 92 and a different DVR was not something he wanted to learn how to use. So I go back to the Xfinity store and was given a little attitude when I wanted to swap back for the old version. No apologies for not letting me know the box they gave me wouldn't work with my dad's DVR. So I get back home and the brand new box, still in the package and it didn't work! I had the choice of going back to the Xfinity store for the third time or having a tech come over. I chose the tech because I wanted to be sure it would work. The tech came over two days later and it turned out the power cord was bad which is a common issue with that box the tech said. It would have been nice if they could have been sure the equipment was in working order and compatible before they sent me home with it. It would have saved everyone a lot of time and trouble. I still think it's a nice store and the service is good if you're going there for something simple. read more

I was promised a full comp on my monthly internet bill ($130/month) and was still charged the full amount. I made an appointment to talk to someone that the rep that I was assigned couldn't have cared less.....told me that nobody "notated my account" so he couldn't honor the credit. Instead he told me there is a $90 limit and he could apply that. It's not about the money.....it's about the principal.....Xfinity has done this to me so many times......they say they will take care of me and when it comes time to pay they take my money, say they can't refund me and they will comp next month and it just happens over and over. Use any other company than this one and spare yourself the headache. I will never recommend Xfinity to anyone ever. read more

I received a rewards promotion for free Apple Watches and it turned into a nightmare that has lasted over a month and continues without resolution.... Purchased the watch at the store but they did not have the size I wanted in stock so I went to another store the next day to make the exchange in the process I was told I could keep the second watch and added it another line on the account however when the agent attempted to switch the bigger watch to my sons phone he encountered an issue making the change he encouraged me to return the watch and repurchase it So I did just that!! When attempting to to repurchase the watch he said the promo code could not be used because the system recognizes both of the previous purchases so he opened a ticket I waited 2 weeks for the ticket to be resolved but contacted customer service by phone to get an update the manager I spoke to stated that the return had not been processed at the warehouse and once that happened the promotion would be available however the promotion was going to expire the next day so she advised me to return to the store and purchase the watch and the promotion could be added later. This did not happen!! I contact customer service multiple times regarding this issue and spoke with managers that assured me me that a resolution would be reached through the escalation ticket opened on the account meanwhile I was still being charged for the returned watch and the the promotion had not been applied as promised. Now I have watches that are supposed to be free that I am being charged for because of the incompetence of the Xfinity representatives and their flawed system. Much to my delight "Oppenheimer" was on the list. However, when I went to view said movie, it was NOT free! In order to view the film I had to subscribe to Peacock @ $5.99 per month! This is blatant false advertising! I don't know how much angrier I can be with Xfinity, between your hyper-inflated pricing, your frequent outages, and customer service representatives (especially in your 1350 Ironton St store) that don't give a s*** about the customer. Canceled my mobile service May 3rd in person was told we are good to go to a different provider right away as our phones were unlocked. Decided to wait til the end of the month since we already paid $90 for this month. Started talking to a new provider to see options and they told me my husbands phones and mine were both still not unlocked, now being May 8th.. I then called Xfinity 1-800 number same day and they said it was never unlocked but now both phones will be by May 10th. Waited even longer and now checked again on May 15th still not unlocked. Another surprise too, I got charged another $90! Now today, I told them I need that second charge reversed and gentleman right away says "Oh we don't do that here have to call the 1800 number", great another circle I'm running around in. Call them first and they're trying to charge me a $50 cancellation fee? I just wanted the extra $90 returned, nothing about this random cancellation fee. This company is such a joke. Im so disappointed I even thought to do business with them. As I look around there's 3 Xfinity employees laughing all hanging out together at the front podium. How embarrassing for a company. I had a problem with Comcast/Xfinity back in May where they sent me a message saying that I was over on my data for my son's phone. He had been using .3 to .4 gigs a month since he got the phone. All of a sudden, they said that he had used 12 gigs in a week. He was in school as he is a minor and all of the kids have to turn their cell phones in to the teacher, who keeps them in a basket in the desk, until they leave school. I explained this to the Xfinity agent, and they said they would have tech support look into it and get back to me. I got three more messages in May and called in both times and said that I had not heard back and if they could not fix whatever the issue was to put my son on unlimited. Once again, they said that the technical team would look into it and get back to me. When I got my June bill they charged me $77 for overages. I called them again and explained the situation yet again. The woman agent that I got looked and saw that they had not fix the issue or done anything to the account as I had instructed. She corrected it so that my son was on unlimited and apologize that they had never gotten back to me about the issue or fixed it. She put in another request for the bill to be adjusted and transferred me to the next level higher than hers. The person we got was rude. and would not listen to any explanation. I told her that my son was in school during the time that he supposedly used 12 gigs in a week and asked her to look at the account history that showed he never had use anywhere near that much and that he was in school at the time and his phone confiscated by the teacher. She just said that is what you owe and you have to pay. I paid my current bill but did not pay the one for May. They cut my phones off in July and I called in yet again. The person that I talk to you on the phone was very nice and said that he would extend the payment and turn the phones back on immediately. He also said that he did see that my son had only used a small portion of his gigabytes each month, and that the 12 gigs in a week was definitely suspicious and appeared to be a glitch in their system. He then informed me that he would escalate this case for review with technicians and apologized. Once again they had not fix the issue nor reached out to me at all. Today is 27 July, and my new bill has generated which showed that the amount was not credited as was promised, nor did anyone reach out to me concerning the data problem. I called in, and the woman just said that's what we owe, and that she saw no record of any calls in May, which was a lie. I am sure they're going to cut me off yet again instead of admitting that they had a glitch in their system and that since my son was in school during the time which they claim he used up 12 gigs in a week, they owe me a credit. Now that I've investigated Comcast/Xfinity and they're scams, lies, and other fraudulent things they have done to their customers, I won't be using them any longer. They've been sued twice for adding a sports charge to bills I continue to do so. I'm just surprised more people haven't written to the BBB and rip off report. It's still some great reading if you have the time; don't give these people, your business or your money; even employees have been whistleblowers on there, prejudices and scams they force employees to perpetrate on unsuspecting customers. Internet Service ~ New Customer: I went to this store to pick up equipment because thats what i was told to do since the equipment that was shipped to me never arrived. When I got to the store I was told that there were 15 people ahead of me & that the next customer in line had already been waiting over 1.5 hours. So basically it would be several hours before I would be helped. I was then told I could go to a different store. Instead I went home & called customer service to place a new order for equipment but was transferred to several different agents (without being told i was being transferred) & had to RE explain the whole scenario just to end up being told they werent able to send me new equipment because the first shipment was pending. I was told I could get new equipment if I went to a store. After many transfers & an hour and a half later... still no resolution. I was told to contact UPS myself. Quite Frustrating! read more

Is Comcast the only game in town for cable? This location was crazy busy and huge. We stopped by to return a cable box which had stopped working suddenly even though it was less than a year old. We were told it would be an hour wait or we could make an appointment for the following day. We opted for the latter. Our appointment went as planned on time. Roger got us a new cable box and advised us how we could set up an online account. He then walked us to the door, and wishes us a good day. He was super personable and addressed all of our needs. Long story short, this store's consistent, biggest issue is the slow customer service and long wait times. Every time I've been in this Xfinity location, and this is my fourth or fifth time, the wait time has been 30 minutes to over an hour. While this may be attriributed to the complexity of some customer issues, it doesn't make up for how long it takes to a single customer to even get seen besides giving their contact information to the person up front. This store needs to work on timeliness. They will help you solve your issues, but even seeing them in the first place is a struggle for most people. read more

Helped my mom make an account with Xfinity since I have it. Signed her up on line, agent said her Modem was ready to get picked up online. I was very sick so I could not go with her, I told her all she had to do was show them email and pick up the Modem, she was concerned cuz her English was not very fluent. When she arrived the first male below on the picture was extremely RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL !! He was NOT wearing a name tag like the rest. When he did not understand my mom, my mom tried to call me and he said she could not call me that he did not have time for this and told her to go sit down, my mom said she was waiting a while in line to please help her and he screamed at her to go sit down, he was so rude that another customer told him he could not talk to a customer that way, he laughed and said he did not know, that he did not work their. Another Xfinity worker (second male in picture) that did speak Spanish approached the situation (my mom had requested to speak to someone who spoke Spanish and they told her no one was available) anyway this other worker told her it was not their job to translate or use a translator app. My mom told him she did not ask for a translator, she asked for her to call her daughter so I could explain, the worker accused my mom of calling the other guy stupid, until my mom told him she recorded how rude the other guys was, they told her someone would be right out to help her. (The guy that helped my mom was very nice, had no issue with me being on speaker, he even had a translator on his end) crazy thing is that the two males in the pictures below said these things were not aloud also how the speaking Spanish worker did not even help her, he still sent someone else that did not speak Spanish. Good lawd! This place is PACKED!!!!! It took me an hour to get helped. I left and came back an hour later and the store was STILL packed. I know the team that works in the store gets burned out, you have to respect how hard they work! Comcast, you have to find a better way to take care of your retail employees and your customers that need to be involved in the retail experience. The good - you can play with all the new technology in the store, so it is pretty interactive. When I got helped, the young lady was helpful and efficient.
