He was assisting us and a firmer customer came alongside and had some kind of issue so he handled both of us with grace, patience, and skill. She finally moved along so we got his full skillset. my father has Xfinity/Comcast and they were pushing a "free line" over and over after he changed his internet plan. In trying to get my father this free line, Xfinity seemed to be pushing everyone to use "Chat" or the alternative is over the phone with terrible background noise. Anyway on Sunday during the football games I did the chat and was getting offers includiung upgrading our phones. I wrote exactly what I needed and I would always get responses "No Worries" over and over. Two hours later... The rep sent me via a link to sign a contract regarding adding a line. I said the only line I'm adding is my fathers line. Again "no worries" He was offering to pay off our iPhone 15 Pro ($500.00). Again he sent a second contract to "add a line" I didn't understand, but he was emphatic... "no worries" and he pressured me to sign it. Then he mentioned trading in my son's iPhone. I stated I NEVER said that and I wrote EXACTLY what was to be done so there was no confusion. Again "no worries" I was so tired so I said I couldn't finish. I went to the store the next day. At the store, I first found out that they would not pay off the iPhone 15 Pro and what was told to me in the "Chat" was not correct...that's no good. What they would do is put the line with iPhone 15 Pro on a "premium line" and then I could trade in to new iPhone 17 Pro at no cost. Also, they stated I could trade in my iPhone 14 Pro Max to the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a premium line again no net cost to me. Great Deal Right!!! Wrong!!! The process is more than 1/2 way in...porting lines. Son's line doesn't work now, wife's line doesn't work at this time. Then rep states that because the chat person added lines the night before, they couldn't add them as "premium lines" or make them "premium lines". Because of the mistakes on the Comcast chat the night before, the 2 lines were already active and they cannot offer the exchange for 2 biling cycles. They stated the offer SHOULD be available at that time. I said what does that mean...please check. The offer expired I belive in October before the 2 billing cycles. Then they stated that there SHOULD be deals at that time. I said "what does that mean" there might be a deal then. In the meantime. everything that made the deal good was gone and actually they made it worse and they were leaving us right in the middle of the porting process. 1/2 way through. I was very upset and at this point I wanted to be really loud so everyone in the store could hear my frustration and let them know what was going at least so they could know that Comcast/Xfinity has a lot of issues relating to customer service. I believe in frustration I called the staff "Morons." I was thinking later about saying that and I don't apoligize. I feel that they could have done more to help me and that if there was an issue not only should they have have seen it in the early stages of the process, but they should have had the authority and ability to fix it. The store would not fix the issue. They disowned the chat basically acting as if was a completely different company. We ended up switching back to T-Mobile that same day to get all the phone back up again. No matter what happens in the future, I will NEVER deal with Xfinity/Comcast unless I really have to. It is so sad and disappointing that a company that is so known and has such a large presence in this country would treat their customers this way. I believe that customer satisfaction should the primary goal of any business. Anyway, this is just one situation on one day, but I don't anyone else to have to go through this. The store was bright & cust service reps were ready to help. but I soon found out they were multitasking & I didn't realize I would be there 2 hours! when I was told to call Apple to reset my password-I had Apple rep on the phone asking me questions I could not answer. They know how to sell the product, but they're not very good on the follow through. After leaving the sales office (The Villages, Florida) and returning home after selecting a service we found that 2 of 3 TVs did not work. Even their service group had a hard time getting us up and running. We were also told that we now had Peacock for free, but when we tried logging in we were asked to pay an upgrade. I also was given a free phone and paid the tax on it, Then I found I couldn't get my email messages. Returning to the sales group the same salesperson didn't know how I could retrieve messages because I had an earthlink mailing address which was my main address. Seems to me all of this should have been taken care of when we acquired our new account. Two plus weeks later we're still trying to figure things out. If you're trying to save some money you may want to think it over because the headaches may not be worth it. Maybe they need some training before selling. I spent two hours in the store, and nothing was accomplished. They did such and awful job that I lost my reward. They are incompetent and have no regard for the customer. I was given a representative's number to call and not one of my calls was answered. I was told I was getting special treatment because I have been a customer for eight years. That was a laugh. I had to spend two hours on the phone with xfinity only to find out that the person at the Lady Lake store did such a bad job with me that there is nothing they can do. Even though we were walk ins with no appointment the Reps were extremely helpful, answered all our questions, and even offered an option to save money. Xfinity stolen phone # Our community provides tv service through Xfinity. We have that service and added internet & our family's mobile plan - 4 phones. On August 3, 2025 at approximately 5 am we were hacked. Our modem was taken over so we had no access to internet. All of our cellphones were deactivated. So we had no ability to contact anyone as we gave up our landline some time ago. The hacker added two names to our account and changed the managing phone and email to a number and email that are not ours. We had to leave our house and find another location with a phone and internet access so that we could call Xfinity. We waited for about 30 minutes before an agent picked up our call. He was able to see that our WiFi modem name and password had been changed and 3 phones had been deactivated. The agent restored service to the modem and the 3 phones, then researched my phone number. It was no longer in our account at all. It had been transferred to another Xfinity customer, MT, on a Samsung phone but a different model than mine. I have had my phone number for more than 20 years and I want it back. We were told that it was possible to pull the number back by shutting off service to that other account but a Fraud investigation had to happen first. It was opened and we were told we would hear from Xfinity Fraud department in the next 24 hours. We have a case number that has been open since 8/3/2025 at 6:30pm. The Fraud Dept has never contacted us once. We've called multiple times & they tell us the same story. My phone number is a second verification for many of our accounts. While waiting for Xfinity to get my number back, the hacker changed access our bank account, moved our savings to our checking account and attempted to wire transfer our money out. Being at the bank first thing, I stopped that. Xfinity has left us exposed, when they could have fixed it the day the hack occurred. Xfinity customer support advised us that we need to go to the local store and pick up out complimentary Wi-Fi extenders for our new service. The closest store is in lady lake 40 minutes from our home. I took the trip on 4/21 and got to the store at 4pm. A guy Joe said that they can sell me some but complimentary ones would have to be shipped. I showed him the message from customer care and he didn't bother to even look. I asked to speak with someone who can help, he said no one can help, and no managers are there. He just sat there useless not even assisting anyone, sitting in a corner. This company is the biggest joke. I have been a customer with them for 8 years. I was getting charged 189.00 for just WiFi no other services my husband and I finally got frustrated and fed up spending that ridiculous amount of money a month for WiFi and I called lowered the speed twice now and they keep saying my bill is going to be lower. Well last month I paid for 153 and then they went back and charged my card 181.96 after arguing with them for days and weeks they finally refunded me 181.96 back to my account. I got a new bill for 117 a month which I agreed to. And today I get a text message saying they charged my card for 289.06. Which was not on the bills I looked and spend and 1 hr and 45 mins with someone on the phone and they basically told me I was out of luck and they were not refunding me 172.06. Which where no charges on my bill explaining I had to pay this. They could not tell me where the charges came from. If I could get a different WiFi company I would they are nothing but a joke and can't ever get anyone on the phone and the message portal they only want to try to sell you some new plan no one is willing to help you out. I am absolutely furious with this company. Such a joke. 1 star shouldn't be aloud it should be 0. Specially with their horrible customer service. Today Nov. 14, 2024 I arrive at this store at 1:15 for a 1:30 pm appointment. Checked in and was told to have a seat. At 1:37 I asked one the workers about my appointment. She said I was logged in as a walk in and I was 6 on the standby list. I showed her my appointment confirmation and asked to be moved up because it wasn't my fault for the error. She said doesn't matter. Asked to see the manager. She refused. Told to sit down or leave. Yeah, stay away from these people. This review is based solely on my experience Xfinity Text Assistant and with a Field Technician named Billy. I was contacted via text message that Xfinity proactively monitors their customers service network and identified some issues with our internet connectivity and offered to send a technician out to fix the issue. Billy was the technician and quickly identified a couple of issues. He was professional, friendly and respectful. My husband and I were impressed with his work ethic. He took pride in his job and made sure his worksite was cleaned up and everything was in good working order. This type of service is rare these days. read more

We returned all equipment and got a receipt. Weeks later we started getting texts telling us to return equipment. Texts were from a bot. I stated all equipment was returned and we have a receipt. The bot couldn't handle that sentence. It insisted I use the responses it offered only and would not transfer me to customer service. We made zero progress so I said BYE. The bot continues to harass us. I called our local xfin office and they confirmed we were good. The bot continues and there appears no way to turn it off. Frustrating. They actively hide the tech support phone number. There IS ALWAYS a 40 + minute wait to talk to tech support EVERY time I call! There is NO live chat and NO eMail support so there is NO alternative way to communicate with them. Activation has been a nightmare, with multiple errors and multiple phone calls with 40 minute waits each time. And the phone still isn't activated with an "there was an issue... please call" error message! Don't believe ANYTHING the agents tell you on the phone. They are liars. They will say anything to get you to committee to a contract, but they won't keep their promises that they make on the phone. They told me that I was eligible for a free iPhone, but after I received the phone and tried to active it, they now say it is NOT free but will cost me $429. There's a $35 restocking fee to return the phone. They have the worst customer support I've ever experienced. I'm considering ways to ditch Xfinity mobile so it doesn't cost me a fortune and I'm also looking for an alternative internet provider too because I hate the way Xfinity is operating. Verizon may be more expensive, but they have decent tech support and they've never lied to me the way Xfinity has. I'm considering going back to Verizon for cell service and adding Verizon 5G home internet instead. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND Xfinity mobile. read more

Upload speed was 182Mhz that's how fast your data leaves your system upload speed 21Mhz speed data comes into your device. Customer service from the manager was people need to take accountability. Was basically told I could rent a router from them (even though we had just purchased a modem/router combo the day before) or we could sit on the phone and wait to get ahold of customer service. Literally needed 5 minutes of their time to just activate our account, they refused and told us they can only do billing in store currently. How am I supposed to get any service when their customer service line will have us on hold for hours on end? Completely ridiculous and unacceptable way to treat their customers. I would give negative 100 if I could. This has been the worse experience I have every had. I ordered a phone 8/2/20 and was going to port over 2 numbers. Wanted to exchange phone, it was not the dimensions I expected. The call wait time was 2-3 hours, 2 days in a row. So I made an appt to go into a local store. They didnt have any phones to exchange so I decided to cancel. They said they could NOT take the return and I needed to call the call center. So I did, they said they had to activate the phone to cancel it. Which makes NO sense. Its was a brand new iphone I was not keeping and I didnt want my number pulled off my current service just so they could cancel the account. Finally got it returned, they refunded me short $35. Today I get a charge of $33.21 for a month of service which I had zero service. But because it took so long to get it all processed, it was 1 day over the grace period and they charged me for a month of service. Glad I didnt switch. read more

As I waited to be served, I watched the staff interact with other customers. Not one of the staff greeted the customers with even a hello. No smiles just cold deadpan looks in their eyes. The manager was up front hollering at a customer in a loud ugly manner. When my name was called I walked to the persons desk. He had no greeting. just looked at his computer and said "yes" I asked a question which he indistinctly made a comment about. He looked into the area of the store but never at me. So we left. There is no other Xfinity store in the area . The absolute worst retail business store I have ever experienced. The xfinity phone service is good and reasonably priced and that is the only reason I remain with Xfinity Mobile. However the retail store is horrible. Never shall I Patronize this store again.
