When I asked if he has had a chance to read it (since he was "quoting it", he began yelling and saying that I was being disrespectful for asking him how he does his job. He then told me that he was no longer going to help an "ungrateful B****". He then went around to his teammates and told each one of the not to help and yelled for me to leave. One other guy laughed at him and offered to help us saying that his team mate was being over the top and the he was very sorry for his behavior. This new guy then helped us and explained the contract while pointing to each area that states what he was saying as well as printed it out for us. meanwhile Dominique was still in his teammates face yelling at him to stop helping.

We worked with a couple of other Verizon consultants in a different location without any success and came back to this one today. We had been here before. We cannot say enough about Verizon. How great they are and how wonderful ALDON is with customers. He solved the problem in just a few minutes. AL, DON, should receive some type of acknowledgment of his expertise and his ability to communicate and help customers.

He was able to transfer my fathers phone, but the other two he needed to send to us via mail. He had us purchase the phones and the screen protectors. He then took our screen protectors and put them in his back pack until he received our phones. He charge us $80.00 ($40 each phone) to set-up our new phones. Two weeks later once he out our screen protectors on, he sent us our phone from his store in FL to our home in CA. He told us that we would need to take our new phones into a Verizon store and have them transfer our data. We in-fact went to a CA store and they said he should not have charged us that fee because they were the store that was actually going to set up our phones. So we paid Jay $80.00 to set up our phones and then paid the Verizon in CA $100 to really set up our phones. Additionally, the CA store said he did not use the correct SIM card, he used the 4G vs the one our phone calls for which is a 5G. Also he did not appropriately set up our new plans, the the Verizon store in CA fixed everything. I asked Jay to speak to the CA Verizon employee and he refused. Attached is the tact string. Do not use JAY SAMMY at this location. He was happy to take an additional $80 for setting up two phones that he did not set up. As you can see he said that is what he gets to provide service and find the right plan, of which, is his job, so he should not swindle people out of hard earned money from people on fixed budgets.

I was told that I would have to call on Monday to speak to a manager to get my concern escalated to the office of the President. Wrong approach. They should have taken my information and had the manager return my call not put that on me. Horrible customer service. When I called I was told the manager doesn't come in until after 10:30. Gee must be nice. I left my phone number and asked for a call back asap. I'm still waiting. Just like I'm still waiting for the supervisor on night shift to call me and help activate my line which I was assured repeatedly would happen last Tuesday night by another supervisor. I'm still waiting on that call. This is not a company that values their customers and if you scratch off the superficial surface this store rises to the same poor customer service I receive from their corporate stores. ATT does not value their customers at all. Not one bit. The store is also not an authorized dealer versus a franchise like one glaringly positive reviewer claims. This is a corporate store, not an authorized dealer. Authorized dealers are the franchise stores. I am in the process of filing a complaint against ATT with the FCC and the BBB.

At the time AT&T did not offer cell service, instead they only offered landline service to homes and businesses. Since then I have stopped using a landline and only have cell service. I have always carried my Bellsouth email from cell provider to provider. And then, for no reason I couldn't get into my email account. Imagine losing access to years of emails sent by people who I love, family and friends who have died, legal letters, warranty information, etc. I called everyone I could think of. No one could help me. I spent 45 minutes on the phone talking to an AT&T rep, a rep from Yahoo, T-Mobile, and my current WiFi provider Comcast. I even went to the Comcast store in Lady Lake. It was there I spoke to a young man who said he once worked for AT&T and perhaps I could get help at an At&T store. I went to the Lady Lake store and was greeted by Mr. D'Alessandro. First thing he asked was do I want to switch to AT&T. I explained I just signed a two year contract with Comcast which included cell service. Now I'm thinking to myself, there won't be any help from this guy, I'm not going to be a sale. But to my surprise and admiration he spent close to an hour with me, trying all kinds of things, until he managed to unlock my Bellsouth email. Not once did he seem put out or annoyed. Nope, he just kept on trying until he fixed my account. For no other reason than he could. I offered him money or lunch, and he refused, commenting that he was glad to help. No reward expected or implied. Look, I see all the complaining. But in my opinion this is an excellent store. When my contract with Comcast/xfinity is over, I'll be calling this office. Xfinity has been a nightmare and if I didn't have a commitment I'd be gone.

The store clerk, Fahim, told me he could complete the service while I waited and that it would take about 30 minutes. When I asked about the cost, he quoted $160 if I paid by credit card or $140 if I paid in cash. This was my first indication that the store might not provide professional service and could potentially be operating in a questionable manner. Unfortunately, I ignored my intuition and proceeded with the battery replacement. Within minutes of starting the repair, it became clear that Fahim lacked experience. He was distracted, talking on his phone while working on mine. During the process, he shattered the back glass of my phone and bent an internal support piece. He continued working for over an hour, with internal components--screws, connectors, cameras, and more--spread across the counter with no organization or quality control. When I asked how he planned to fix the bent internal part he damaged, he said he couldn't because he didn't have the proper tools. He told me he would take the phone to the Mount Dora location so his manager, Aziz, could repair it. He assured me it would be ready the next day when the store opened at 10 a.m. The next morning, I arrived at 10 a.m., but the store was closed. Fahim finally arrived at 10:30. When I asked for my phone, he handed me a ziplock bag containing the phone still in pieces, along with an additional loose part sitting on his desk. I asked whether the bent internal piece had been fixed, and he claimed he had taken the phone to Aziz in Mount Dora and that Aziz had repaired it using specialized tools. This was untrue--the phone had never left the store. He said he would continue working on it, so I agreed to return later. When I came back, the phone was reassembled and appeared to function, except for the battery health feature. Fahim then told me that battery health no longer works when a non‑Apple battery is installed--something he never disclosed beforehand. I also asked for Aziz's phone number to confirm whether he had actually worked on my phone. While I was calling Aziz, I saw Fahim making a call at the same time, presumably to tell Aziz what to say. After speaking with Aziz for about 10 minutes, it was clear he was lying to cover for Fahim. I know this is a long review, but I'm sharing my experience to warn others. Techy Services demonstrated unprofessional behavior, dishonesty, and poor technical skill. Anyone considering phone repairs there should be extremely cautious and make sure they fully understand what they are getting before agreeing to any service.

The sales/repair person identified the exact parts needed, checked his system, and provided a firm quote of $105. The quote was for the part and 2 hours labor. We made an appointment for the repair the following day. When I arrived for scheduled appointment, the same employee informed me that his manager had "instructed him" to charge $145. The reason given was "part availability and increased cost." Feels like classic bait-and-switch. The part available online for less than $20, even with tariffs. They provided a quote and made an appointment, only to change the price. Employee should have stuck by original quote. Based on this experience and apparent lack of honesty regarding their pricing and inventory, I suggest taking your business elsewhere
