Unlike so many, I've actually had a decent experience with Xfinity. The 1 year-contract price was pretty good. We have internet and cable TV. The only problems we had were that occasionally the routers need to be reset. That seems to be better now -- probably an issue with some of the equipment that was eventually fixed. read more

BEWARE of XFinity / Comcast! Signed up for Internet service @ $60 per month. Several months later, they DOUBLED my monthly bill from $60 to $124. Never received prior notice of this insane increase. Called multiple times regarding the matter. Each time, I was "referred" to someone else. Finally talked with a rep who said a mention of the increase was on page 3 of statement. Never received statement. Then I was told that I should look up my account online "every" month to verify my monthly bill. I was told that bc I was an existing customer, they could sign me up for SAME svc I was receiving at $60 for only $105. BOTTOM LINE: If u use XFinity/Comcast, read ur paper bill thru page 3 snd/our check ur bill monthly online so u will know if ur bill will also double. Bye XFinity! read more

Okay so I called Sunday about my cable being messed up. This company is a joke I just found out the entire apartment complex has the same problem. You see the problem with these big companies is they don't care about the costumer all they care about is money. They sent out 2 men who didn't speak any English to bury our neighbors cable. Xfinity had nothing marked and they simply dug managing to cut both our neighbors and our google fiber cables. 3 plus weeks later unable to reach Xfinity to address issues, and new cable just lying across the street unburied. read more

If you call their customer service, you will get somebody in India that will tell you they're coming and they have no record locally that they're supposed to even come. Took six weeks to get my cable originally. still after a year and a half will not bury it in the ground and it keeps getting cut due to construction work next door. Takes 3 to 4 days to get anybody to respond. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. They are misleading in the information they provided us and provided truly horrendous customer service. We recently moved and went to Xfinity to set up internet service. Our appointment was changed without any notification to us 3 times. When a technician finally came out to install it we found out that our address wasn't set up for service, but then told that the construction team would be coming out that day and we would be installed within 3 days. Obviously that didn't happen and the assistant manager Karen at Bridge Street store was condescending, refused to let me talk, and failed to communicate. We ended up finding out through the contact center that our account was cancelled (which no one told us about) and there was no plan to install our internet. Karen blamed it on Huntsville Utilities, which was a lie. The only silver lining is that the customer service at AT&T has been top notch and we probably dodged a bullet if Xfinity's service is anything like their customer service. read more

Update. Went to chat room to cut off service because their phone line is inop. The comcast rep cut me off. Literally just all of a sudden pasted some "thanks for talking to comcast. I'm happy I could help." Then boom, completely cut off. Rude. I tried to copy the conversation but it wouldn't let me. Otherwise I would be pasting it here. Stay away from COMCAST. What a mistake I made. Update. Called DIRECTV and they took me back, gave me specials, paid my transfer fee to COMCAST. Should have done this weeks ago. read more

So, here's the thing. These Xfinity guys simply misrepresent what you're likely to experience. Over promise, under deliver must be their mantra. Since I "upgraded" to all this latest "talk to my remote" bs technology the whole thing is nothing but a problem. Pay for 250 down and actually get 10 or less. What we need is a true competitor for them to hold their feet to the fire because now they have no real reason to live up to their claims. If only there were negative stars. If you have Xfinity, have automatic payments set up, and decide to cancel your services, DEACTIVATE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS AND REMOVE ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION. THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU. I canceled my services on the 5th of June and thought nothing of it because if I canceled it, I shouldn't be charged, right? Apparently not. Today, June 16th I saw that I had a service charge from Comcast from the 13th. I have been on the phone all day with various agents, reiterating the same information over and over and was finally told, after the agent tried to convince me that it would be useless to talk to a supervisor, that I would get a call back within SEVENTY-TWO HOURS and that I may not get MY MONEY back until SOMETIME IN JULY. I am livid right now. This is completely unethical and it is STEALING! Yet another corrupt company. That money should not have been taken out of my account and therefore should be IMMEDIATELY replaced, yet they keep telling me I have to wait for the final billing cycle to complete, which doesn't make sense because canceling my services means that I should no longer be billed, especially during a PANDEMIC. Xfinity, you have no right to that money, and I should not have to wait to get it back. #ItsMyMoneyAndINeedItNow Not to mention that you HAVE to agree to take a survey in order to reach any live person or you will not get through, no matter how long you stay on with the automated system. Then, the survey is ridiculously inconsistent. It is four questions, unrelated to anything of importance, you give actual feedback in the first, and after that, the three remaining questions are on sliding scales. The 2nd question is a scale 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, the 3rd question is 1 to 5 with 1 being the best, and the final question is 1 to 5 with 5 being the best. I am thoroughly appalled at Comcast Xfinity, and if you can help it, I HIGHLY recommend that you avoid them at all costs. read more

Nothing but trouble. I've had the service for about 8 months and have had 5 tech visits, 2 modems, dozens of calls to customer service. Internet connectivity is touch and go and when I lose internet I lose my telephone. Am searching for another provider that has some consistency with their product. read more

Comcast, a perfect example of to bi to fail, a Tech. was out servicing another tenant and when he left , he left the connection box wide open and exposed to the elements and anyone that wanted to jack my service. So of course I contacted them to complain and et an appointment to get this resolved, appointment as set for the next day, no call no show! Of course I called them and complained and was told the Tech. changed my appointment for 6 days later, really(the TECH] changed it without calling me. So I set another appointment for the next day, again NO CALL NO SHOW, call them again set another appointment for the next day, again NO CALL NO SHOW I have had it........the problem they are to big to fail and they don't give a DAMN about their customers. read more
