But they don't have all the different products for that scent anymore. Makes sense --- since they now also have a bunch of new ones that I am excited to try like the Bergamot Shiso and their Enoki Cedar. Parking on the street in front of the shop is difficult, but I was able to find one two blocks away. Got some steps in. Their Teakwood & Tobacco is one of my favorites and I got some refill. Glad they are open weekday. No crowd. Friendly staff. I love how they have a big airy space so the scents don't become overwhelming. I also love how they organized and displayed their products -- logical.

I was a little overwhelmed while trying to figure out what to buy, but I took my time to scope out all of the different scents. I'm pretty satisfied with the two candles that I ended up getting and I appreciate how carefully they were each paper-wrapped! Hopefully I'll be back again to get something for myself! It's such a cute little shop. Thanks again for the wonderful service!

I was delighted to find a wide variety of candles, as well as many other items that many people would appreciate. I felt as if we were the only folks in the store prices were a good value in a tourist area.

What endears me to this shop is that it is housed in what used to be part of an old machine shop. It still has the original plaster and wood beams as well as old doorways for the upper levels of the old building. It just smells old and historic. You can't fake it. What I notice the most about this place is that it call itself a candle shop, but there's not many candles that are sold there. They sell LOTS of Dia de Los Muertos decorations, books, magnets, coffee mugs, post cards and other assorted items that are not candles. There is also an ofrenda that is up year-round. It is very beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I love this store and have bought many items from here. They also sell incense here. Here is where I leave with a slight headache because I cannot help myself and I HAVE to smell it all! If you are one of those people who are into the spiritual crystal guru thing, then this store is also for you as they sell a myriad of gems and necklaces. They take cash and card. I'm not sure if there are other payment forms like Apple Pay or Zelle accepted. I wanted to take pictures, but I didn't want to come off as someone who looked sketchy in their store! Give this cute little spot a try!

I had the entire odds against me in buying a house in Los Angeles with my partner who had quite poor credit. The first candle we got was Obstacle Remover, because we had all these impending debts on the credit scores that were preventing us from gettin a loan. Within TWO WEEKS, the disputes we sent out to the credit bureaus caused THREE credits to jump 100 points. I lit the Road Opener to create abundance. The Road opener provided us with THREE Brokers, THREE MORTGAGE OFFERS, and the most complicated request EVER- a property with multiple, separate, domiciled residences- a duplex, triplex, guesthouse- for under 900k. After so much discrimination, rejection, competition, and stress, as each of us was even in and out of LA during the whole process, we were submitting an offer when our real estate broker dropped us. At this point, I was so stressed that I had acquired a SUCCESS candle. we had found our dream home and had a 48 hour window to submit an offer. We were contacted. CONTACTED. by another broker who OFFERED to put it in for us. We put it in and ACQUIRED THE HOUSE. I can't say enough about HOI, this has happened CONSISTENTLY with all their candles. The management is ANGELS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I am such a big fan of the beautiful candles sold at this store. They're very high quality and immediately make my house smell amazing and feel cozy. If you're not a candle person, the diffusers from this store are another great alternative. I have these in my bathroom and they do a great job of making the area smell so nice. The specialty body products at this store are also wonderful and I love the lavender bath salts to help with my muscle aches and relaxation routine. I've gifted so many of the body creams and lotion sets to my friends and family who all then ask me where I purchased the gifts! I then recommend they shop at Aroma Scent and go there too. During these tough times, I really love supporting small, local businesses. This one is such a hidden gem and the service is incredible. I feel so welcomed and attended to in the store, and I love going back to the store. I'm so glad it opened again after a brief break due to COVID. Come here and you won't be disappointed. I also just bought a new diffuser and enjoying this new addition to my work from home office.

A literal little hole in the wall, tucked away and unassuming, the kind of hidden gem that reminds you why small neighborhood shops matter so much. From the moment you walk in, the energy shifts. The space immediately feels tranquil, peaceful, and intimate. Soft lighting, neutral tones, and thoughtfully styled shelves create a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. Nothing feels rushed or overwhelming. Every corner feels intentional, from the clean, minimalist shelving lined with beautifully illustrated greeting cards, to the curated displays of candles, gifts, children's items, art prints, and thoughtful little objects you didn't know you needed until you saw them. I came in with a very specific mission, to find a Valentine's card, but not the overly romantic, cliché kind. I was looking for something that simply said, "I choose you." Subtle, meaningful, timeless. I narrowed it down to five cards, each with its own charm, clever illustration, or heartfelt message. That's when Savanna stepped in, and honestly, she made the experience. Savanna is the definition of exceptional customer service. Patient, warm, and genuinely present, she has an incredible ability to match your energy without overpowering it. She listened, asked the right questions, and helped guide the decision without ever making it feel forced. You could tell she truly knows the products and understands the intention behind them. The card she helped me choose felt right, like it was meant to be picked. The shop itself is spotless and beautifully organized. The card wall is a standout, rows of unique designs, playful illustrations, modern typography, and artful sentiments that feel personal rather than mass produced. Beyond cards, the photos show how carefully curated everything is, cozy candles with clean packaging, tasteful home goods, children's books and toys arranged with care, soft textiles, and charming little gifts that make perfect "just because" finds. Nothing feels cluttered, everything has space to breathe. There's a sense of calm confidence in this shop, it doesn't need to shout to get your attention. It invites you in quietly, lets you take your time, and leaves you feeling lighter when you walk out. Shout and About isn't just a store, it's an experience. One rooted in intention, warmth, and genuine human connection. If you're in Echo Park and appreciate thoughtful design, meaningful gifts, and service that feels truly personal, this place is absolutely worth seeking out. Hidden like all gems are, but unforgettable once you find it.

This is the flagship shop opened in 2015 and there are currently three brick-and-mortar locations in Echo Park, Carlsbad, and Encinitas. [Parking]: Parking is very difficult in this part of town. I got really lucky and found a residential street spot on Grafton St. [Merchandise]: The shop offers many cute gifts including home goods, scented candles, tote bags, and a section with items for children and babies such as children's books and random animal plushies. I like some of their greeting card designs, but there is not much of a stationery selection. There is also a mini print vending machine at the front entrance. [Conclusion]: I am not sure whether I would drive out of my way just to shop for gifts here as there are too many random items. It would be nicer if the shop focused on a more specific niche category rather than being a jack-of-all-trades gift store.
