The roof should last us for 50+ years. We won't have to worry about the roof for a long time. Satpal made sure everything was done right and was done properly. Unfortunately when he was removing the old roof, we found out the old roof (who was done by another roofer in the past) was mopped to the deck. It was sad because that costed us a few extra $$$$ to remove the old roof completely. We needed to sand the deck and install new boards on top to insure the integrity of the new roof. Satpal communicated all issues to us very well. He was honest to tell us that our roof had built in drains already and we didn't need to spend extra to get a new drain put in because it was not needed. Before going to SPS Roofing, we did get a few quotes from other roofers. We found SPS contract straight to the point and was able to start very soon. Also, we chose SPS because Satpal responded quickly by email or phone. SPS charges market. I highly recommend using SPS.

His prices were reasonable and he was able to fit us in before the open house, he was also very attentive to the details. We've been in this strata for 19 years now, and Ben's the first pressure washer that ever asked us if we wanted the tops of our planters cleaned. He also noticed an area on one of the roofs that has some moss on it and suggested a non toxic way he can remove it without damaging the roof tiles. After spending a full day on the courtyard and entryway, he came back on a second day to "touch up" anything we'd noticed once it'd dried. Mostly, he "touched up" things he himself spotted. A number of residents liked his work so much, they've hired him to do their small patios as well. He arrived on time and stayed until the job was finished. A friendly guy who clearly cares about doing a quality job. Will use his services again in the future.

The least that you want is a call to let you know that they are behind or to set up an appointment but, I didn't get any of that from Refine Cleaning & Maintenance. Thank goodness they aren't a moving company, can you imagine waiting and not have them show up. This is no way to run a business.

Estimate was accepted & he came for pressure wash. But as soon the power wash was completed (not a good job), he refused to provide painting services. He simply refused the other job just for showing him few missed spots (I have a whole lot of pictures of the other areas not cleaned properly). Then he complained about quoting me low & there's not enough margin & i am still complaining. Think logically, you looked at the house from top to bottom, talked about everything that will be done, figured out things & estimated it. I am paying almost $1300 to get this single job done (out of 2) as was promised to me. If it's taking longer, it's your problem & not mine. If you have not done your job properly, i have the right to complaint. You promised, you deliver. He was really upset and while packing up he called his bookkeeper to invoice me & told me specifically that it needs to be paid off the same day. After an hour of leaving my house he texted me that if i don't pay him by the end of the same day, he will be placing a lien on my house for bad debt. Seriously!!!!! He just wasted my time & money. I could have gotten the same service done for cheaper & he kept boasting about giving me good deal. If this business is not aware of the fact, please note customers always get quotes from different places before finalizing a deal. So you were not the cheapest. They also replaced our sewer and grey water lines all the way out to the city's collection lines under the street. It was a major project, and their team handled it professionally from start to finish. One of our biggest concerns was that the work would require excavating around a large, well-established garden. The crew took great care with our property, carefully protecting plants and restoring the garden when the work was complete. The solar panel installation was halted. I contacted several roofing companies to get assessments on the issue and obtain estimates. It turns out one side of the roof did not have adequate venting and moisture was being absorbed by the plywood. I met with several roofing company representatives and each provided their suggested way to address the issue...and the estimated costs were all over the map. But when I met with the Absolute Roof Solutions sales representative...I knew I had found the right company. They explained what the issue was, how they would address it and the next steps. They followed with a quote and then a follow up conversation with the Project Manager. They picked a date that was to be rain free. The crew showed up on time and they went about their work. Taking 1/2 a roof is not an easy task but they managed to get it done in the one day...and to get the site all cleaned after, including ensuring all debris was removed from both neighbours yards. My neighbor is replacing their roof using this company's service, but their workers/contractors repeatedly stepped on my front lawn and used it freely as a walking path this morning (ie. day of writing the initial review, June 19), without permission. I politely talked to them THREE TIMES to ask them to please respect my property and not walk on my lawn/property. The first two times when I talked to them, the workers I talked to didn't even seem to take me seriously. Seriously? Imagine waking up to lots of noise and security camera app notifications saying there are strangers walking on your home front lawn, and that was what I encountered. Oh, one gentleman also did a quick spitting on my lawn while walking on it. Besides, for a brief 20 mins they also set up some seemingly-heavy supporting base/stepping board which were at least partially sitting on my lawn. All these happening without them ever approaching me or asking for permission. I thought having talked to them three times should stop the issue. To my great surprise, one same worker that was caught on camera crossing freely on my lawn back and forth multiple times, chose to walk on my lawn AGAIN just now (at the time of writing the initial review), perhaps thinking I didn't see, but my security camera system did. This whole "I don't give a xxx about walking on your lawn & property" attitude as I perceived is getting wildly UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, and UNACCEPTABLE. Not to even mention potential legal complications, about trespassing, about potentially damaging the lawn/front yard, about potential workers' injury that may happen while they trespass on my property, to name a few.
