An amazing beachwear shop with the sweetest customer service. I felt intimidated entering as I'm a size L or XL, it looked like most of their inventory was itty bitty bikinis from the window. However my first impression turned out to be wrong -- they had plenty of bathing suits in my size. The staff was so warm and encouraging and made me feel comfortable. I was able to find exactly what I needed. Xandra suggested items that I wouldn't have necessarily looked at. She helped me put together a look for my brand shoot which was a beachy remote-work image. I have got to say this is the best swimsuit shop I've ever been in! The customer service is so personal and the manager is so sweet. I came in because we were going on a family vacation to Hawaii. I'm heading out of town with my Husband to Vegas for my bday weekend and needed to buy a few nice bikinis...the two places I normally shop is here and Nubia, right across the way. Yesterday I stopped into Nubia and wasn't greeted once. There were two other women shopping but other than that the two women working didn't even acknowledge me. I asked if I could put a few bikinis on hold until I finished up with lunch and I felt like I was annoying the employee by asking her to do her job. At one point the Nubia manager snapped at her employee in front of us about taking a break; kinda unprofessional but whatever; Wasn't feeling the vibe there at all. (I know this is long but it comes with a point so bare with me.) I found a few cute bikinis that I wanted but after my experience, I didn't have any desire spending money in a place that makes zero to no effort welcoming a customer in or assisting them in anyway. I walked out and was over it. Then I had lunch with a girlfriend and went into Xandra Swimwear. Let me just tell you how thoroughly impressed I was with the atmosphere of the place and service/assistance. Destiny IMMEDIATELY greeted me, even while she was helping other customers and was totally helpful. She set me up with so many options I wouldn't have even considered and I walked out of there with two amazing bikinis and two sarongs. Shopping at Xandra was like night and day compared to Nubia and they are literally across the street from each other. The quality of their products are great and they have a million styles to choose from. I absolutely recommend this company for all your beach and swimwear needs. They're so friendly and helpful and I can't get over the fact that the ladies half the age of the employees of Nubia have twice the professionalism and knowledge. Where do I begin; drove here from San Jose because it was couple days before we were leaving for our honeymoon, my sister had ordered me swimsuits but they did not come in time. This place had so many swim suits to choose; ANY style you're looking for. First off; I didn't expect them to be darn expensive; but after wearing them they are good quality suits. I bought everything from clearance, I bought 4 suits and I left there spending close to $500; I think. These suits though will last me a very a long time and I don't think I'll be shopping for swim suits for a while. The ladies there were super sweet and super helpful. Let me start off by saying that this store is FANTASTIC and customer-centered. We came in about 10 minutes prior to closing just to browse for a few minutes and were instantly greeted by Morgan. She was friendly, professional, and helpful in answering any questions and making suggestions. There were two other women in the store with us that were trying on merchandise, and Morgan made it a point to let us know that we need not feel rushed. I was surprised by their selection of suites-My friend is petite and thin, while I am very curvy-Xandra had suits and dresses that looked amazing on the both of us. I loved so many of their pieces-very unique and quality made. We completed our purchases and left the store very happy. However, when I got home I realized that I had left my water bottle at the store. I quickly e-mailed the store and was responded to within 24 hours. In addition, the store offered to mail me my bottle to my home address in Massachusetts. WOW. This is exactly how businesses should be run-you better believe I will continue to visit this business whenever I am in the area. A little gem of a store in Capitola! Riley and Morgan were so friendly and gave good advice when I told them I was looking for a suit for my birthday. All of the swim wear in here are so different! You won't find anyone else wearing these. They have cute one pieces as well, and I don't normally wear a one piece. I was so impressed I brought a girl friend in to find her perfect suit for her Costa Rica trip as well. A little pricey and it's all final sale but they have adorable fitting rooms so that you are sure of what you are buying.
