The location has undergone some positive decor changes in the past year or so. It is much more welcoming than it was before and just feels like a place to be comfortable. Maybe it is the bar stools that make that happen. :) Best bar stools around! The afternoon crew that sits on the corner by the garage door is a great group of people who welcome in anyone to join their group and just have some fun conversation. It gets pretty comical with those guys, so be prepared. Speaking of the garage door...it opens to a very large deck area that can get pretty busy during the summers. There is a good amount of seating out there as well as some patio furniture to just sit down and relax. Inside is mostly high top tables, but there are a lot of booths for people who like that type of seating. The group of bartenders and servers are quality at this point. They do their jobs quickly, and want you to enjoy yourself.

Maybe it was just me, but the TV volumes felt louder; although this is probably me now as a parent with a small child and not as a young adult wanting to watch a game. Service was fine but a little slow. The staff is friendly but very unknowledgeable about any specials or promos. This was my biggest beef coming here in early summer of 2025 when they were offering their unlimited appetizer deal. I had to educate myself from online posts because the servers just had no idea. I suggested there might be a separate menu for the promo and that finally clicked. Wings are still decent and the portions were fine. My daughter at the time enjoyed her kid's meal immensely.

I don't mind them at all as long as you don't squat at them everything is good. Our server was the bartender who came outside his name was Alex and he was an absolute peach. He started us off after we got our drinks with dinner rolls and two cinnamon rolls which was an odd pairing for a pre-dinner snack but it was delicious. I ended up getting some tomato bisque soup which I'm an absolute sucker for and it was fan freaking tastic. A+++ Definitely it's comfort food season and this menu supported that. Now normally I make pot roast but I'm not very good at it and my pot roast is normally fatty but this pot roast came out absolutely fell apart on my fork. The carrots were perfect and the mashed potatoes was not lumpy my perfect consistency I told my wife if you want to learn how to make pot roast come cook here. She got the beef and mushroom pot pie now I'm a big fan of pot pie but I do not like mushrooms but she managed to absolutely inhale that and she gave it two thumbs up. We had an ample time for a nice little chat our server Alex was on the spot wasn't too present but wasn't gone too long for us to not notice. Service was also A+. We live in lake county and don't get down to Troy township at all but now I have an absolute reason and excuse to get down there and I will be bringing friends.
