The team here has not only…read moreimproved my handicap measurably (and I assure you that is no small task), but they also have helped my kids start to really enjoy the game and my son and daughter love going in for lessons. I did not pick up a club for my first time until after College and of course had self taught all the wrong things for my grip etc...and my kids have learned the right way to play the game the first time which to me is invaluable. Jamie has been AMAZING with my kids and James has also helped me a tremendous amount and I have had several instructors over time and all have been fantastic. Owning a business myself, I have numerous clients who also go to GolfTec and of the low handicappers (of which I am not one) many have given RAVE reviews and had strongly encouraged me to go to GolfTec over the years and I finally pulled the trigger. I have done lessons at a number of top places through the years with well known instructors and I find this to be among the best experiences right along with my own club. I primarily go for the "heavy change" stuff in the winter and do a few less lessons in the season as it is a bit harder for me to adjust while playing regularly. First, he's a very easy going, "let's see what works best for you" kind of guy. He is the best club fitter I've had the pleasure of working with. He makes precise adjustments after using proper data analysis from the best analyzing equipment in Omaha. Let me just say that if you are a decent golfer, YOU NEED TO BE FITTED WITH THE RIGHT SHAFT for all clubs. Jason is a master at it! If you want to purchase a gift certificate, go in the main doors and then head to the pro shop off to the left. The pro shop itself is very small and quite cramped. I understand they wanted to make the most of the space in terms of retail products, but it feels like everything's on top of each other, and there's not a lot of room to stand if there's two or more people in line at the cashier. When I told the employee that I wanted to buy a gift card, he audibly sighed and said "oh boy, OK"in a negative tone. Right off the bat, this did not give me a positive impression. I asked him if everything was OK and he just said "yeah I can't really remember how to sell these." His attitude was just negative overall throughout the transaction. He did get it figured out, but it took him a few minutes, and while I was waiting a few people stacked up in the line behind me. There was another employee behind the desk and it seemed like he should be able to help out somehow, but he just stood there and didn't do anything.
