Extremely Disappointing Experience! Poor management and inconsistent standards. This was hands down…read morethe worst golf course experience I've ever had. From start to finish, we were essentially shadowed by the course ranger (picture attached), who approached us four separate times accusing us of slow play, despite us doing everything we could to keep pace. We immediately allowed a single player behind us to play through. When asked, we also let a scramble group behind us pass... even though scramble formats typically understand there will be occasional waiting. Yes, we had 5 players (we paid for all 5) but to avoid slowing anyone down, only 3/4 of us played each hole. Two of our newer players only played two holes each total, again, to keep up the pace of play. We explained this to the ranger multiple times. He didn't care. Instead, on the 8th hole, he told us that management wanted us to split up for the 9th hole. Of course we agreed but that made no sense and actually slowed us down more than our original system. The part that really highlighted the inconsistency: while we were being micromanaged for simply playing respectfully, we also witnessed a grown man screaming obscenities at the top of his lungs and throwing his club repeatedly. There were kids on the course, yet the ranger seemed completely unbothered by that behavior. In short, we did everything right, let others play through, limited how many of us were hitting, and prioritized pace of play. But we were still treated like a problem, while actual disruptive behavior went unchecked. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone who values respectful play and fair treatment.

The regulars golfing are rude and take everything so seriously, the place is low end and they all act like it's a pro place. The regulars there need to learn how to calm down. Not all of us know how to golf . the staff was super kind and helpful. the course had a amazing view of the water. The food there was really good. The golf course is just really intense for the first time.

The Burger was OK and really nothing out of the ordinary as were the fries. My margarita, which was on the rocks, was the highlight of my meal and was well made and quite tasty. Relative to the facility, it was quite nice with both inside and outdoor seating making this a nice place to enjoy your meal on a nicer day on the terrace. Staff was quite nice and accommodating and did a good job of taking care of our party of 14 with good follow up throughout the meal. I could definitely see this being a nice place to dine for a larger gathering/event as it looks like they are set up to handle events like this.

Cocktails and appetizers at 5pm, dinner was at 6pm. Tuna shooters in wonton cups, chicken skewers with peanut sauce and spinach phyllo. I had one chicken skewer, peanut sauce tasted okay, meat quality was garbage. I spit it out and tossed it in the bathroom, it was gristly and fatty too. They also have pre-packed cheese and crackers. They need a bit of work to clean up discarded food items and limes from drinks too. Nowhere to put anything at all. Cocktail closes during the dinner hour. The bread rolls look to be a potato roll, it's slightly sweet, not bad. The Caesar salad looks so sad, tastes okay. My SIL, FIL enjoyed their filet, it was nicely cooked, albeit lacked in flavor. My husband had a few bites of filet too. The salmon came topped with a mustard sauce, it wasn't bad, well cooked. The green beans were perfectly cooked. The penne noodles were soft. The noodles, beans and salmon were a tad oily and greasy. Staff told us there wasn't enough cake to try all 3 kinds of the Marv's cake. They had the chocolate, yellow cake and red velvet cake. I don't buy it. We shared 3 different kinds between my husband, SIL and FIL. Nice view of the sunset from the room over the lake. There's a nice blazing fire pit on their patio too. The venue is quite nice. Service and food was okay.
