I don't think I have had a room without a TV since a small motor inn that I stayed in, in Delores, CO, in 1974. Really odd that this would never be mentioned on the room description.

Upon checking in Destiny (I think that was her name) greeted us with a smile and was prompt and friendly. Once we entered our room, it immediately felt warm and cozy and was super clean. We got a great night's sleep because the bed was very comfortable but what I loved the most was the nice hot shower with great water pressure. We actually enjoyed our stay so much that we asked Summer, the morning front desk associate (who was also very friendly) to book us for a night in the same room on our return trip. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Sheridan Best Western is a great choice!

The next morning I informed the front desk of the theft and my name and number were taken with a promise that the manager would call me as soon as he arrived. At 5pm, no phone call, so I called them. No manager, but a message was taken. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and now, today, Tuesday.....I've called every day with no success or returned call. This hotel staffs thieves and will not assume responsibility (or even the decency for a returned call) for their employee's actions. I will continue to call and continue to leave negative reviews until this issue is resolved. UPDATE: On behalf of the manager, a young man named Brett called me back (finally?!?!?!) and informed me that the hotel would like to offer me an $80 credit to the card on which I purchased my room. This just happened, so I have not actually seen the credit, but it's a step in the right direction for sure. I've updated my rating to 4 stars........it took a lot of time and effort on my part and I still have not heard from the manager. You can't control all of your employees, but at the end of the day, the Hampton Inn made it right. It was definitely an inconvenience, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard about others who have had things taken from housekeeping. I am satisfied with the end result.

Hey what can I say, I've got Scottish blood running through these veins. My price choice was on Snaptravel. $12 bucks less expensive than the others. Nice. When I checked in, the desk clerk searched the computer, and said, "Oh, you booked with another company, one minute please". A minute later I was handed my room cards, and on my way I went, to what was to be a chamber of horrors . First thing I usually do is to open the curtains to let in the light, and look at the view. Oops, that didn't work, very little light, and a view reminiscent of what Charlie Manson may have seen out his prison window. Check out the picture below. Well, you can't win em all. Later in my stay I had to use the bathroom. Unfortunate for me, cause it was there that I met the ghosts of Hampton past and present. Filthy. Ugh. Hair to the left of me, trash to the right. On the wall, smudges of poop. I won't be meeting the ghost of Hampton future, nor should you. Remember, I warned you. Quick Tip: Use the Snaptravel price if you dare. I think since you're getting the cheapest price, they reward you with the worst rooms. I'm not going to use that option anymore. I can only handle Halloween once a year.

On the day of travel, I received a welcome email confirming my reservation, but it was now for a day later. I called to find out what the heck and the reservation clerk (at the anonymous booking site-Candlewood couldn't talk to me because they weren't my booking agent) told me that the room type I requested wasn't available so their system had automatically moved my reservation to the next day when a room was available. What the actual flying freaking flock!! After much time and angst , we finally got a room for the actual night we needed it for, but we had to take the smallest room they had and I am currently on a rollaway because they only had 1-bed rooms available. Should I be more upset with Priceline or Candlewood? Either way, I won't be giving either of these companies my business again anytime soon.

Air conditioning, television, mini-fridge and microwave. Near to a park with walking trails, and even though it's a bit on the outskirts of town, there are several convenience stores and a couple of chain restaurants right around the motel for a cup of coffee, a soda, or a pizza delivery, if you don't feel like driving into town. The owners and employees are so kind. My overnight stretched to three nights, and then a week, as I waited for parts, and they held my room, gave me local recommendations on attractions to see while I was here, and were super nice to my dog, who is a little shy of strangers.
