When my child needed some oral numbing medication after oral surgery, Dr. Duncan (pharmacist) got it tasting better with bubble gum flavoring so my child would let us put it on. (Before the flavoring, my child would gag from the taste and cry when we tried to apply it- now we can put it on without a problem!) read more

I went to get a RX filled on 5/20/17, the Pharmacist was so rude & wouldn't even fill my prescription or give a reason as to why. It was for pain pills, as I just had a surgery the day before. My normal Pharmacy is in McDonough because it has the lowest price for one of my prescriptions, $75.00 less, so that is why I use them. I just had my Dr., call in into the closest pharmacy. I had only moved to Griffin in December of 2016. I was in sooo much pain. I think she thought I was a drug chaser & that was probably why she was so rude & didn't fill it. If only she had talked to me instead of putting a label on my head, I believe she would have filled it. read more

I've been a customer at Wynn's (and a friend of the owner) for over 15 years. Without consideration of the friendship, I can honestly say that the service is EXCELLENT. I don't know what happened to the two ladies who have written the negative reviews, but I am SURE that whatever happened, it was an aberation.... These folks run a very good, very efficient, and very friendly operation, for a LOT of customers, and on the MANY times I've come in to pick something up, I've never heard another customer with a serious complaint. If you call ahead, the order is ready when you get there (unless the doctor or insurance company has been tardy updating the prescription). The pick-up is fast and courteous, and if something does go wrong, for whatever reason, they fix it on the spot. When I need advice about a particular drug or treatment, Drew and his crew are always ready to give GOOD, PRACTICAL advice. In emergencies, they will usually volunteer to open up the shop and/or deliver if necessary. My mother lives in an assisted living facility, and Wynn's "bubble packs" her several prescriptions into grouped doses for each of the several times a day when she gets something, and then delivers the bubble packs to her facility. Yes, you can sometimes get some things a little more cheaply from the Insurance company pharmacy. Personally, I GLADLY pay the small amounts extra to be able to take advantage of the excellent service and advice Wynn's provides. read more

Wynn's is one of the reasons I love living in a small town. The staff gets to know you and your family by name. They take the time to explain your prescriptions, will deliver them to your house, and ensure your medication is correct and won't interfere with other medications. I have used this pharmacy for years! They are friendly, efficient, and they go out of their way to help you. The pharmacist's are nice and knowledgeable. They even bubble wrap my prescriptions so I don't have to count out my pills. Another plus, you can put meds on an account and pay for it once a month. Definitely a five star business! read more

I so wanted to like this pharmacy. I'm all about supporting small businesses in small towns. After my horrible, I mean horrible, experience with CVS, I thought it was high time I try a local pharmacy. Unfortunately, Wynn's kept disappointing me with the slow wait time. The drive through is sadly just a slightly more convenient way to wait 20 minutes for them to retrieve your prescription. This past Friday, two days after I'd called in my refill, I went to pick it up, and waited 20 minutes at the drive-up window. When I asked the nice clerk what the hold up was, she said they got busy inside. It appears they only have one point of sale system in the whole pharmacy. I bet if they purchased another one for the window, they would move customers quicker. I moved my prescriptions to another small pharmacy in town because Griffin is the Land of Small Pharmacies. With this many options to choose from, they really should step up their game. We shall see if U-Save-It will live up to my (not so crazy) expectations. read more
