After being transferred for military duty to McDonough, Ga I was referred to the Pain Specialist Corp for treatment. She and her employers are very rude and refuse to explain the course of treatment with me. I would absolutely not recommend treatment at this establishment. So when I went in for my initial consult I was told that the procedure would cost $12,500.00. This is not pocket change for someone, obviously. I had intended on paying the full amount but I was hesitant because this is a major investment and I have also been in contact with other specialist in other countries such as Germany (the doctor that treated Kobe, may he rest in peace),Argentina, and even Mexico. I have previously been treated by the same doctor that treated Rob Gronkowski, whom has since relocated to Florida. So when I say that I have done my research, that would be an understatement. Being a former soccer player that played at the highest level, I wanted to do my due diligence not just because I love my job and would not want to jeopardize it but especially because I go to the gym everyday and that is also very important to me! So when I had to miss a couple of days of work due to an episode of major back pain I was determined to get the treatment to fix my back, and if a medical institution says that they have treated former star athletes then I thought it would be my best option. So I was a bit desperate to get this procedure done and that caused me to consider getting the whole thing financed. So I went in to do the financing application, when I got there, the lady at the front desk said that the amount I needed was now $13,500. So I immediately said that the amount I thought we had agreed upon was 12.5 k. I asked her to go and verify this information with the doctor that I had spoken to, she stepped back into the back and promptly came back starting that the amount is indeed 13.5k. That sort of irked me because now it felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. So I hesitantly did the financing application and my payments would be over 500 dollars a month, but I was in pain and I needed to get this done. I did schedule my first treatment which would have been a few weeks after that date and I felt that I had plenty of time to walk away. Not a word was Said to me about my obligation to pay for my loan if I did not go through with the procedure. I felt backed into a wall and I needed to get this thing done, if you have had back pain, you know exactly what I am talking about. So I eventually, when felt better, and after I read some of their reviews on BBB (I needed to look further into this company's reputation) I decided not to go through with the procedure. I sent a text to the doctor that had quoted me the initial amount and told her that I decided not to use their services. So when I had a debit of $551 from lending point I immediately contacted them and explained to them that I am never received ANY treatment and that they needed to refund the funds back to me. They said that I needed to contact the doctor and ask them to send those funds back then they would be able to do the refund. I sent an email to QC kinetic but never received a response. So after a couple of days I called to ask about my inquiry and I was transferred to a lady named Maryanne, that was a week ago. She stated that she had not been in the office but that she would give me a response. Somewhere within that short conversation she said that they don't do refunds because they have purchased the equipment and that she would definitely be getting back to me. Not a word since. I never received any medical treatment other than the doctor asking me to touch my toes. Now you want to tell me that you are about to ruin my credit?? I have worked on fixing my credit and i do not intend on letting this institution ruin it for me. In what world would someone say: meh, that's OK you can keep the 13.5k that you took from me without you lifting a finger. Yeah exactly. The staff was nice, but they did not notate my file correctly, and I drove all the way up one time for a procedure they had incorrectly marked as done. The stem cell extraction left me with nagging pain in my hip MONTHS later. My X-rays a month before the procedures and a month after the procedures are the same if not worse because they told me to stop taking my biologic medicine. This made my inflammation levels too higher for surgery and I'm still stuck paying this bill. It is all out of pocket with NO recourse for it not working. $12k out of pocket for them to inject into my knees for literally nothing but pain. They get people to post reviews during treatment and asked me how it was working after the injection because anything would feel better being injected into my knee with it bone on bone. I also was not told I could go to any locations once we got started until the very last treatment.

I want to say that I have not had luck with a lot of doctors in Georgia and I find a lot of the doctors in this state don't care about patients, you are just a number to them, dishonest, if you don't tow their line they will terminate your care with the flick of the wrist, are vindictive and will falsify your medical records and make it hard for you to get care with other doctors, etc etc. Dr. Foster and his staff are NOTHING like that and since I have been coming to this place they have ALWAYS treated me with kindness, respect, and like I am a human being. Dr. Foster has excellent bedside manners, is very personable and takes time to get to know you, is caring, listens to me, and is thorough with his exams. I have never felt like cattle or just a number when coming here. When I wasn't seeing Dr. Foster I saw the NP Sharon, whom sadly is no longer at this office, but even she was very kind, took her time to listen, and was VERY personable. I miss her and will miss Dr. Foster, Bree, Lisa, and the rest of the staff. They have all been so kind and such a pleasure to be around and have trusted with my health. Yes, the wait times are long but DUH ALL doctor's offices have long wait times that consist of 1-2hrs. The only doctors that don't have long wait times are offices that treat their patients like cattle and they are in and out in under 5 mins. They won't take the time to be thorough with their exams and don't care to establish good rapports with their patients or truly get to know their patients. To be honest when you see Dr. Foster he does not make the patient or patients wait long. At least that's been MY experience with him. Now when I saw the NP Sharon yes her wait time was extremely long but when you have a good doctor, good NP, etc the long wait times are worth it. Just relax, bring a book, scroll social media, etc. I am moving out of state and that is the ONLY reason I will no longer be a patient of Dr. Foster's. I'm so torn over it because good doctors and good medical staff are hard to find. While I am moving out of state I am hoping I can still be a patient of Dr. Foster and this facility. I did ask at my last visit and he said he would have to see what can be done within the law. I'm hoping I can stay a patient. Either way I DEFINATELY recommend this place and Dr. Foster.
