She told me no and that I need to reschedule because she has too many appointments. When I say this lady is rude af! She was even rude and very rushy during my initial appointment, but I thought maybe it was an off day for her so I tried not to pay it no mind. That was not the case. Was taken back to an exam room where the nurse was attentive, courteous, professional and proficient. I did not wait long for Dr.Nichol's to enter my exam room. She listened to all my concerns. I felt taken care of although they were already feeling the shortage of exam tools to fully examine me I still feel that my needs were handled as best she could. I had started feeling frustrated with my regular doctor whom I've been seeing since I moved to GA 10 years ago so I decided to try some one new and I am so happy I did. I didn't feel like my appointment was rushed and she even explained to me some of the test results that were concerning to me from my annual exam taken with my regular primary care physician that I had in January. I would only get test results and no explanations; feeling like I was on the verge on death. I do believe Dr.Nichols has a new patient because she is exceptional. Also, he personality is not lacking at all and she is very easy to open up to and you don't feel intimidated by her as some medical professionals can leave you feeling. Unfortunately he was booked for surgery and recommended Dr. Levy to do the surgery which my hematologist referred me to. Dr.Levy did my port removal and replacement. Everyone was so kind and nice at this facility. The second surgery was rough as I was awake for it because anesthesia didn't show up. The surgery nurse was so kind and talked me through it, calmed me down, and rubbed my face. I have NEVER experienced that level of empathy from a medical professional ever. I wish I would have known about this place in 2021 when I had my first port surgery. Dr. Levy said he was going to make sure the catheter doesn't come out of the vein and it sure is long. he gave me a copy of the x-ray and told me to take a picture of it so I'll have it in my phone for other medical professionals. I just visited a new vein Dr last week for the swollen legs. I had a ultrasound done after the ultrasound I was told the doctor only got rid of my upper left leg vein I had the procedure done on both legs. On my left leg he didn't even use anesthesia he just stock that long needle in my lower calf I was in server pain awoke while he did that procedure. He said I didn't need anesthesia because it would not take long. I went to visit another doctor last week I was told after getting a ultrasound I only had that left leg done nothing else. I would need to get 3 procedures done again to stop the blood from going done to my ankles. I'm very mad because I thought it may have been salt because I had those vein procedure done by Dr Daniel mcdevity. This was a case of negligence N a poor quality of care .
