I came here seeking answers for a chronic running issue. I've had AmnioFix, physical therapy 3…read moredifferent places, and I'm still not better. After tearing both hamstrings, I thought once that healed, I'd be back in the game, but for some reason, my left side is giving me serious issues and I still can't run. So I heard these guys are experts, so I decided to give them a try. I was seen first by the fellow (out of medical school and doing their Fellowship year in training) then followed by Dr. Jayanthi. I will say they spent quite a bit of time with me, but unfortunately that did not yield any solid answers. He suggested I may have an atypical presentation of compartment syndrome, and said there's a test for that, but he wasn't sure the amount, and honestly after spending as much as I have, I don't want to go through a test that isn't likely to yield findings. I felt he was somewhat grasping at what it could be, and all he was able to tell me is it's an exertional problem. Well, I already knew that. I have symmetrical strength and function on both sides until I try to run. I even walk evenly. That's what is so frustrating. He did do an ultrasound to look for masses/cysts and found nothing. So all in all, with two physicians evaluating, they could't come up with a diagnosis but said PT at this point is futile since they don't know what to fix yet. He said they were going to contact me about the next test, but no one has, and I am not sure I'm going to even do it anyway. It's back to the drawing board for me.

Very helpful and kind staff! Dr. Jayanthi was able to give me a clear diagnosis and put me on a…read moreproper treatment plan. I'm a college athlete and I definitely recommend Emory Sports Medicine at Johns Creek.

At the start of therapy, he was unable to get in and out of bed without help. The surgery returned his mobility, but his flexibility and balance were compromised. The caring and competent folks at Georgia Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center worked diligently to restore his flexibility and his balance, most importantly returning his dignity by his now being able to navigate his day on his own. Cara, Will and Danielle worked patiently with him, providing targeted activities with an eye on each week's accomplishments so that he could adapt to every new exercise challenge. The PT Team were encouraging, respectful and helped him move from exercise to exercise recognizing the importance to him of his overseeing his own recovery. He said it wasn't just the exercises that were successful to restore his abilities. Rather, it was that he was treated with such dignity and respect which supported each week's accomplishments. Not only are Cara, Will and Danielle excellent at what they do. Miranda at the front desk also takes part in each patient's recovery by assisting each patient in creating a meaningful schedule aimed at a successful "Graduation Day" from Physical Therapy. Georgia Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center was instrumental in helping my husband return to independence and improved health. This team did a wonderful job for him and we hope you will have a similar result.

I've heard great things about this place, but am somewhat torn in my review. And again, maybe my expectations were to basically be better by now. Who I am kidding? That's what I definitely expected after shelling out over $600 in services here in a matter of 3 weeks, and the fact that the first chiropractor I saw said I would be training in no time. This place is definitely efficient. I felt like I was one in an assembly line. I felt rushed every time I was there. Staff was friendly though. On my most recent adjustment, I saw a different chiropractor than the first one, and he said that high hamstring injuries take longer to heal, and I should not expect to be running fully in another two to four weeks. Well, dismayed as I was to hear this, I felt the first chiropractor should have been real with me. He told me to start training again, and I couldn't even fully run yet. I am glad I held off on speedwork, because that definitely could have set me way back. So I'm disappointed and somewhat frustrated. The office is super nice, and offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and small waters. I guess with the probable cost each patient generates, I can see why.
