I would have given 5 stars but we went to Wu's Open Kitchen for my daughters 21st birthday because she loves the food and she wanted to have a cocktail. However; eventhough it was her 21st birthday they refused to serve her because, they say she needed to be one day older than 21 years old. That is the first time I have ever heard of that. In fact, she went into a liquior store and dispensory and was served ON HER 21st BIRTHDAY. My daughter did not want to aruge about the laws. We had a good dinner, with lots of food.

For anyone unsure on whether or not to try this restaurant. I'd highly recommend going! Me and my family have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and have never once been disappointed. This is not only our favorite Chinese restaurant but favorite restaurant period. The staff are always really kind and even have our order memorized. Every time we've gone the service has been very good, they never make you wait super long to put your order in and they usually bring out your order in 10-15 minutes. They're always super attentive and at the end of the meal personally package up your left overs. Speaking of the food its amazing! We're usually a party of 4 or 5 but the portions are still big enough for us to take left-overs. Our favorite appetizers are the Dumplings in hot oil, spring rolls and egg flower soup. The dumplings in hot oil are so warm, soft, and pillowy and the mix of oil and peanut sauce works so well together. The spring rolls are served with the most delicious sweet and sour sauce for dipping and I personally really like the spicy mustard thats also served along with it. Our favorite entrees are the chicken lo mien, General Tso chicken (regular and spicy) and our favorite side dish is for sure the stir-fried green beans. Needless to say, I will come to this restaurant for many more years. I promise this is not sponsored haha i just genuinely love this restaurant so much. To anyone who made it to the end of this review thank you! And please go support this restaurant!!

Food was great with good vegetarian options, and the highlight for me is the complimentary jasmine tea!

I took my son here for dinner and he said it was the best Chinese food he has ever had. Great General Tao's chicken. Great service.

Shocking... I have ordered from them for years. In recent years I discovered a favorite thing to…read moreorder is an appetizer platter because it's a little bit of everything - fried shrimp, spring rolls, BBQ pork, crab puffs, and short ribs. I also order their lobster puffs which are a wonton wrapper purse filled with lobster, crazy good sauce and a touch of shredded carrot. This time I was in shock. All the meat was so overcooked that the pork was gray. The short ribs were almost charcoal cinder... the burned meat was next to all the other appetizers which, well, ruined the entire thing. So, I figured at least the lobster puffs were separate and looked amazing. I bit into one and it wasn't foul... it was just very confusing because it tasted completely different... I looked at the other half and was like wait... that's not lobster... that's a shrimp... so, I thought maybe it was an accident one off... nope, so apparently they switched to shrimp and are still charging for lobster... WOW. Let's say the restaurant ran out of lobster... I could completely see letting a customer know. That was not what happened here and as a customer, I am not a fan of being lied to especially in a world where people have allergies to proteins. Thankfully I'm not allergic to shrimp. I am allergic to being lied to.

I tend to steer away from the old Chinese staples from the past like sweet & sour anything but the cubes of salmon in a not-too-sweet sauce was really a surprise ($22). The Happy Family ($23) is a required dish I've renamed "Happy Leftovers." The best of everything stir-fried perfectly in a very light savory sauce: prawns, scallops, chicken, beef, and veggies. Just this and rice is a complete meal actually. The Cashew chicken ($20) and Scallion beef ($20) thin slices of beef, velveted with cornstarch, stir-fried with scallions, shallots, ginger and garlic and a brown sauce that tasted like it had sesame oil, and oyster or hoisin sauce, rounded out our order. Parking is still easy and plentiful. Totally ADA accessible. Inside is a little more upscale (good for date nights) and the full bar is really classy for being in a shopping center that shares space with Walmart. Family-owned and operated. No kids menu but unless yours is super picky, there are a lot of dishes to choose from most kids will eat. As about patio seating when the weather is nice. People-watching is epic!

The restaurant hasn't been renovated in a very long time, but it has a loyal customer base. While we were there, we saw several regulars who proudly support the restaurant because it has become a tradition for them over the years. We tried the chicken garlic wings, honey walnut prawns, and pork fried rice, along with the complimentary tea. The food was tasty, the portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for ambience, this may not be the place. But if you appreciate long-standing family-run restaurants with good food, it's definitely worth a visit. Do support places like this--they're part of the community and deserve to stay around.

I had been going to Lee's for many many years and was a little saddened by some of the changes that the new owners decided to make. I'm very happy that they brought back some of the old schools menu items. Especially sesame, chicken and sweet-and-sour spareribs. The prices are higher, but not unreasonable in fact, a bargain compared to a lot of restaurants and you get more food and it's good . If you gave up on them, with the changes that came with new ownership, consider giving them another try I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly. It was fast. The servings were big and the food was delicious.
