This place is awesome! The perfect place to take kids on a rainy day: * Two floors of duplos / Legos * Kid's snacks * Coffee, beer & wine for the grownups

Totally UNDERwhelmed. :/ The interior is cute: modern industrial design. However, that's really where my enthusiasm ended. Still too new to have a good system down for cleanliness: no regular cleaning schedule established for the lego and their "penalty box" should really be clearly marked in the Lego rooms - not at the cafe's counter. Realistically, how many parents really walk the legos that drop on the floor down to that counter? Umm.... Maybe it was just that I visited on a rainy holiday when it was busy - but really, although the physical space can accommodate so much more, the kid capacity is pretty small. It goes from fun to claustrophobic very quickly. In the duplo room over 6 kids and in the main lego table area over 8 kids will start to feel crazy w/ the parents uncomfortably sharing tables to the side. The table space can really only accommodate enough parents for a 1:1 parent:kid ratio assuming everyone is sharing tables... so, good for playdates but not so much for individual families going to visit. Overpriced to pay both admission ($6/child - even siblings despite the website listing a sibling discount which they don't honor) and severely overpriced food ($3.50 banana bread slice + $2.85 for a jr. size 4oz Odwalla). In addition, staff is pretty minimal - with obvious other priorities. Considering that the place was packed and didn't have enough seating, it was annoying that a staff member was taking up a 4-top table for their laptop & books... all ok if the place is empty but really not cool when it's busy. Would I go again? Only during a regular work day during a non-busy time...

One of the awesome Duplo tables.

Found out about this place this week and we've already been twice. My kiddo loves trains and Duplos, so the downstairs Duplo room is a huge win. It is smaller than the Lego room upstairs, but there is enough playspace. I love that the tables are the perfect height for kiddos. At one point today there were 6 or 7 kids plus adults in there and although full, everything worked out. It's great that there are duplicates of almost everything. Helps with keeping the peace! We've only spent a few minutes upstairs, but it looks fun too! I had a panini, which was tasty. Didn't get snacks today, but they had a lot of choices. My coffee was good. Will have to come back later in the day to have wine or beer (it's always available, just not a good afternoon choice for me). They have Lego classes some evenings that sound really cool. My kiddo just isn't old enough to take advantage yet. We love this place! My just turned 3 year old played for 4.5 straight today and was already asking to come back when we left.

Great venue for hosting parties for young creators. Serious espresso, too. Would definitely come here again.

Great rainy day destination for the kids to play legos for a couple hours while you have a drink and work on your computer.

just legos, folks. that's it. an old house with tables set up -- and a lot of legos. If you're child is a lego addict, go for it.

Such a fun place to come for an activity!…read more We went early on Saturday which I highly recommend! If you walk in after 11 am, you most likely will be looking at a long wait. However, it's worth it IMO! Weekends are busy and there's generally a wait. However, I opted to paint outside and got seated right away. They have a great selection of items to paint. I picked two jars. They have a variety of supplies that allowed me to bring my vision to life! The number of colors they have to select from is vast too. They have a wide range of brushes and tools, and I appreciated their two sizes of paint pen detail bottles--perfect for writing! Nicky was so helpful and accommodating. He reviewed how the pair a work and the process thoroughly but succinctly. He brought my chosen pieces out to the table since I had my dog with me. It is dog friendly outside! Not sure about inside. Check out was pretty seamless, and Erica did a great job with my checkout! The prices for the pieces are comparable to ones I saw at another similar establishment, which was good to see. If you're looking for a fun activity, check out Paint the Town!

My husband and I were debating where we were going to hold our daughter's 5th birthday party when…read morewe came across Tanya's review of her birthday party experience (see her yelp review below) and we were sold!!!! We booked the Big Birthday Blowout and it was AMAZING!!! Upon arrival, we were given a cart to wheel in whatever food we brought (it is a peanut-free facility, which we appreciate as our child has peanut allergies). The facility provides cups, napkins, cutlery and has cake cutting materials. You can also request they provide pitchers and cups of water) Their staff takes care of both the lab set up as well as the food set up (you bring the food, they set up). *Note - if you have smaller kids, they have a play area that smaller kids can play in with Magnatiles and blocks. We got 1 hour of time in the lab (we chose the slime theme) where the staff did an amazing job captivating and maintaining the attention of all of the kids at the party! The kids each get to wear a lab coat and lab googles which make for super cute pictures. After the Lab session, the staff lead the kids to the bathrooms to wash hands, and sat them down to eat. The staff then donned gloves and helped distribute the food as well as handling the cake cutting when it was time to cut the cake. They literally did EVERYTHING!!!! (The one thing I wished I had done was also ask the staff to set some plates and cutlery outside of the eating area so that parents can eat as well. I was able to move some of the food, plates, and cutlery out to make it more accessible to parents, but wished I had planned it better so that I was not on the staff's way when they were feeding the kids.) After everyone has eaten and gotten cake, the staff then distributed goodie bags (made by them and included in the cost of the party) to all the kids. It was an amazingly well-run machine. They also helped to load the cart of stuff to bring back to the car! We didn't have to clean up, they do it all!!!! Shout out to Mr. Sampson who lead the birthday party from Lab, to hand washing, to handing out gift bags. He was absolutely amazing! I describe him as the "Pied Piper of Science," because he had all the kids just enthralled with everything he did! He is super animated, super engaged - myself and many of the parents there were blown away by this man's energy and his ability to captivate and hold the attention of an audience of 3-5 year olds! We had a great experience, and I know the kids and other parents did as well! I highly recommend doing birthday parties there!
