This time I sent a sample and paid the 300% rush surcharge. They botched the test and now refuse to retest without paying for another test and a second rush fee... And, we still do not have usable results. The test is for lead paint on a wood sample. We need to know if this paint can create a hazardous dust. They crushed the entire wood sample and then tested the pulp for lead? Of course, there is not much lead as a percentage of total sample weight. They thought they were doing me a 'favor'. So, I'll just tell the kids to be sure to chew the entire mulch and then they will be fine.
