Super friendly! The owner is really good at making conversation, I felt very comfortable along the way. Very professional.

I am…read moreunsure about the quality of care in the ER, but while recovering on the 2nd floor, the nurses and doctors came by to check up on him semi regularly. As he was bed bound, the nurses cleaned him up whenever we called for them and helped change his dressing for some bed sores that had developed (loved that they put the time changed directly onto the bandage themselves. The food was pretty bland though and only slightly changed every meal (there was usually steamed carrots, mashed potatoes, and a different protein every 2 days). Overall, we didn't have a bad experience. FYI: the main entrance says visiting hours are from 9am-8pm but we were able to get in 2 hours earlier and the doors are still unlocked at 9pm. After that, you would have to enter through the ER.

the first time i was forced to pass that blasted black cat on their er bay doors, the ems staff and…read moreeveryone was soo much more compassionate than my last visit...i don't know, maybe first time, beginner's luck? second time, a dog shouldn't have been put through the humiliation, the brow beating, the refusal of care, the refusal of patients' right's or a myriad processes. and when a patient falls, i feel like the hospital staff should be more protective of the patient's hippa and not so concerned about how litigatious they may be, thus ignoring them and ensuring a wet floor sign was added for a fall not caused by the floor at all. smh. but to have a patient laying face down on an er floor for longer than a few minutes, should be heresy...but this is california...there have been celebrities to come back from hospital visits with complaints about staff not recognizing them and being cruel. so... why would i expect anything less...as just a "regular person?" so...just so california is aware: 1. if someone falls in front of you...regardless if it's the er or not...if you have nothing positive to contribute...and that doesn't mean shouting negative things you think are positive...it means just being a normal person and keeping your mouth shut if you suspect foul play ... mention something to staff quietly do not cause a freaking protest because you feel like some entertainment! 2. if you are not medically trained regarding falls shut the heck up. 3. as a morbidly obese person always remember a nurse without a spine is a nurse without a career so ...i chose not to end a career three days before christmas... learn, educate, and understand before you spew vomit from your mouth like its bible!!! and regional needs to be better prepared for a fall! do not send a 90lb, 5'10" nurse by herself to help a 261lb, 5'1" female off the floor! and regional...if you can't get rid of the blasted black cat on your doors or spray paint more white... then get a flocking clue ...a plethora of patients are probably scared to death of that cat... they are just too sick to say anything... and when someone just keeps asking for help and their state paid caregiver keeps going missing or walking off ... get a clue something was bigger than you that day and you missed it...because you were too concerned about what you were seeing and that was ... racist, stereotypical bigotry. And the referral you sent me to, literally said it was simply to cya... yea I got it. ‍ This er visit was so traumatic I don't know if after being in California for 12 years, I want to stay. It sickens me the way you things treat humans here. next time ... i hope you're more intelligent/conscious to look closer and someone like me isnt still sitting where i am today and you actually helped them. ‍‍‍
