This REI is spread across two floors, with a giant staircase in the middle of the sales floor. The top story is mostly clothes, while the lower floor has all the bikes and gear. Overall, Fresno REI seems a bit smaller than Folsom REI, but Fresno ends up having more inventory, because they are better at keeping their shelves stocked. It's hard to remember exactly which gear I've bought from exactly which REI, since I shop across at least four different locations. But, from this location specifically, if I remember correctly, I've bought some stickers, some bug spray, and a packable clothesline. This store really excels at cleanliness and merchandising. They keep it looking great, even though they are presumably a high volume store. On the other hand, this location isn't as great as some others at offering customer service on the sales floor. Last time I was here, I walked around the building a few times in hopes of getting the attention of a sales associate before finally just getting in line to ask my questions. One associate seemed to be ignoring me in favor of using his cell phone to text on the sales floor. He didn't seem to be on break-- he seemed to be on duty, but avoiding me. When the cashier asked if anyone had helped me, my "no" might have had some attitude. But, luckily, she was super helpful, and answered my questions. Overall, I love REI, and will probably continue to shop at this location when I'm in Fresno.

Her primary care physician recommended that she can use insults to help her with her feet discomfort. The sales representative Alek all assisted us and actually listened to my mom. The shoes required and got the insoles that she needed for everything use. I was able to make this appointment ahead of time online via their website or their mobile app. The cost was fair for the area. The store was clean inside and also.

They had me in their system before and were able to get the same Inserts that I had purchased before. In case you're wondering, you need new insoles after the second shoe switch out. So it was time for me to get some new insoles. Be sure to follow them on Instagram as they are always having some fun run and raffles. I also like to volunteer my time for their runs and they usually have a end of the year party for the volunteers which is great. But my favorite part of their group runs is the coffee runs Saturday mornings during the winter time. Can't wait for the next one!

When I called customer service, I was informed that they don't offer returns or exchanges for the leotard and shorts I bought. My 9-year-old daughter typically wears a child medium, so I ordered a child large to be safe. However, even the larger size is way too tight, and now I'll have to spend another $85 to size up to an Adult Women's XS for my petite 9 yr daughter. The return policy claims, "Bottom line is...we want you to be pleased!," but I can't say I am. When I reached out for help, I was only advised to sell the items to someone else on the team, which wasn't helpful since all the other girls already have their leotards. In this situation, I don't feel the customer's needs were prioritized.
