An hour past the appointment time, I contacted Campos and was told that the estimator would arrive "soon". The guy did finally show up and was pleasant. We got a quote of nearly 12,000 dollars and we have already spent 3,000 on the window itself. The quote was odd- just a bulk number- no break down of costs so really- we had no idea what we would have been paying for. Plus we were directed to choose stone from 2 sites- neither of which had pricing. Things that make you go "Hmmmmm. .." I requested a breakdown and was told I would get it- but I still have not. At this point I'm not interested. Added to our quote was a little "extra" regarding plywood- if plywood was needed- they would charge us 250.00 per sheet when we know the retail is only around 55$. I understand that the company needs to make money but that is quite a mark up at several hundred percent. As my husband put it- he was skeptical of the entire quote based on that alone. I'm sorry that we cannot do business. I don't doubt the work based on other reviews but I can't seem to get past even the first hurdle.

Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail. Did receive them. No contemplating recommendation -- proposed work.

The work was still not complete by October and I was then contacted by Anderson's that they needed me to pay for parts up front. Again they were supposed to get back to me in August. On November 7th they came to repair the wood stove but broke the stove door's plate glass and took it to the shop for repair. They promised to return November 14th to install the repaired door. No one showed. When I called the office they blamed the technician. I then talked to the technician. He told me the replacement glass arrived broken and that it would have to be reordered. He said the admin staff should have called to inform me of the new delay. Then I talked to the office manager who said they would have to follow-up with ordering more glass since they hadn't yet done that! In summary, a job that was promised to be completed in August 2024 is still not complete as of November 16, 2024 and the company took my money up front. Mr Anderson, you really need to train your staff concerning ownership of issues! Potential customers, steer clear of this company!

Gave us a very reasonable quote, worked with our yard constraints and kept us in the loop each step of the way. If something changed from our original plan he let us know our options and what he could do.
