But the noise has changed and the refrigerator seems to be getting upset with me. So I called John Geig to see if he could help my refrigerator get back to its normal self. And that he did. Before John got here, I removed all the food and shelves from my refrigerator to save him time. Upon arrival, I played a video for him, which included the loud noise my fridge was making. Even when it wasn't making that crazy noise, the fridge was louder than it should have been. Within minutes, John removed the refrigerator fan, quoted me the price to replace it, and replaced a defective fan. Now my refrigerator is running quietyly again. A quiet refrigerator is a happy refrigerator. Hopefully, my refrigerator won't get sick again for a long time. John was excellent and reasonably priced.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. Just the basic parts and just a basic washing machine to wash the hell out of your clothes properly. I was sent to him by a friend who owns property and has bought some machines from him in the past. I now send other people to him after their washers that they've had for only 4 or 5 years break. Don't hesitate to call. He delivers to anybody in Medina county and actually found somebody to drop off the machine at my house in Strongsville for a very reasonable price.

Matt sold me a 14+ year old Maytag w/agitator that works better than my LG EVER worked - it's faster, quieter, uses less water and it makes me so happy. Matt is a man of his word - he won't sell it to you if he wouldn't put it in his own home, he's got a 1-year warranty on his machines, and the man does service calls for $13.50 -- where else will you get that?! I recommend him highly and hope I never have to own another LG appliance during my lifetime.
