Unbelievable that our daughter was not taught simple alphabet recognition and letter sounds. Most…read moreother children entered kindergarten knowing this. She was taught how to write her name but only barely and when I spoke to other families? The same. It is a good place but we could have put her somewhere less expensive to simply play all day.

I love this preschool. They start kids at the age of 2, and my son started at the age of 2 1/2. He…read morewas placed with the "older" 2 year olds where they were developmentally at his pace. Some were potty trained, others were not. He fit right in and the teachers were wonderful with helping him learn!! They have these cute kiddy size potties that are perfect for toddlers! The teachers are all well versed and wonderful. I remember asking him who his friends were after he had been attending regularly for two weeks. He told me his teacher, Ms. Pamela, was his best friend. I thought that was the cutest and majorly reassuring as a mother to hear! Kids enter into a locked area, and have a nice routine. Parents are given a daily journal explaining what their child did all day, how well they ate their snacks and lunch, when and how long they napped, when and if they used the potty (with or without an accident) and then additional comments. Each child is celebrated on their birthday. The school is creative and has a nice play ground. The school is organized, clean, friendly and safe. The hours start at 6:30 AM and end at 5:30 PM. Their availability worked wonders for my work schedule. The best part is my son has never been happier!! Every time we drive by the school during off hours, he wants to return. He is well adjusted, learning a lot, and making wonderful friends. We're so thankful for Little Lambs Christian Preschool! I highly recommend them with all my heart!

Our two girls started in Pre 2 and Kindergarten and are now in 9th and 12th grade. Watching them grow up surrounded by teachers and staff who genuinely love, pray for, and invest in them has been such a gift. Keswick is so much more than a great academic environment. It is a place where faith is woven into every part of learning and everyday life. The teachers truly care about the students and model the love of Christ in all they do. The school works hand in hand with our church and family to help our girls grow spiritually, academically, and personally. We have seen firsthand how this community encourages character, leadership, and a heart to serve others. The level of care and excellence from every teacher and staff member is something special. If you are a Christian family looking for a school that shares your values and partners with your faith, Keswick Christian School is an amazing place to call home.

I went from pre-K to senior at this school. I was held back in kindergarten by a teacher named Ms…read more Fricke. I remember not being to fond of her at the age of 4. I wasn't very good at reading. She held me back and all my friends advanced to the next grade. I had to watch them every year be on schedule as I felt so behind as a child. I would be pulled out of calls at 4 or 5 and have to sit on a bench and read while the others stayed in the room. All my insecurities started a very young age due to this. I grew up having reoccurring dreams about not finishing senior year... I am 35 now. I finally journaled about this dream. Here you go: The true source of my anxiety, feelings of failure, and not being good enough dates back to being held back in kindergarten at age 4. This experience resurfaces in my dreams whenever I face uncomfortable opportunities for growth, triggering the same insecurities and emotions I felt as a child. I asked myself how to overcome this pattern, as I am committed to continuous self-improvement. The answer that emerged is that I no longer need to prove my intelligence or worth to anyone. This realization explains my past drive to work excessively and take on numerous roles, a behavior rooted in a need to validate myself. Journaling also helped me understand that my kindergarten teachers likely didn't know how to best support me, and holding me back was their misguided solution. While this decision made me feel like something was wrong with me, causing me to watch my friends advance while I remained behind, I now realize their actions stemmed from their own limitations, and this understanding allows me to release that burden of insecurity. Be careful holding a child back. It creates all sorts of insecurities and they grow up with them. There are other solutions and different ways of teaching. Singling a child out in front of their peers for practically 14years because this started at age 4, hindered my ability to let go in life. I felt I always need to prove myself. I am no longer going to be doing this and I am doing it for the little girl you, Keswick, held back.

They have family movie nights where they play popular movies on a big screen under the stars and provide popcorn and drinks (free). They have plays that the kids watch during school hours. They have music classes, chapel, garden walks, magicians... I don't think there's anything this school doesn't have. Parents provide snacks for the class - which is a plus if you want to control the amount of junk your child eats. They have grandparents day celebrations, breakfast with daddy for father's day and a mother's day concert. There is always something going on here making this place so much more than a daycare but rather a community. While it is Christian based it is not overly pushy or in your face. None of the events I have attended have referenced faith. While there I was on the parent's advisory counsel which allows parents to be in the "know" and have their concerns voiced... and the Director. Mr. Cote is a model director. Always in the classrooms, on the playground, that man is NOT afraid of getting his hands dirty for his school. I had not 1 complaint. This is unlike any daycare I've ever experiences and if you have an opportunity to join - MAKE IT HAPPEN. My child has learned so much and I feel so lucky to be a PCCS parent.
