Recently recognized with a prestigious 2023 Best of Florida Regional Award for Best Music School & Instructors by GuidetoFlorida.com! • This achievement signifies not only our commitment to quality instruction, but it’s a testament to the exuding passion of our instructors and the qualities they continue to instill in their students since established in 2010.
For the last 13+ years, Universal Rock School has maintained its colorful, rustic vibe that is welcoming to students of all ages and backgrounds. We’ve built a reputation in the community for having some of the most engaging, energetic, and FUN instructors in the area, and it’s their unwavering enthusiasm for mentoring the next generation of musicians that makes URS stand out amongst the rest as a leader in private music education.
Through outreach efforts, we strive to make connections with our local community so we are able to provide performance opportunities to our students throughout the year, such as entering into the annual Spring Break Battle of the Bands. URS is also involved in nationally-recognized events such as the Great American Teach-In, Music in Our Schools Month, Kids Music Day, and more!
Ms. Toni, URS Manager, was quoted stating, “Our mission was never just to teach; it was to inspire, to connect, and to cultivate an environment where every note carries a unique story.” — Spotlight Article, GuidetoFlorida.com
History
Established in 2010.
We are an independently-owned local music studio located in Seminole, FL. Established in 2010, we built rapport within the community by providing quality private music lessons at an affordable cost, and our one-of-a-kind after school music program was highly sought after as it provided a creative alternative to similar after school programs.
As of the 2022-2023 school year, the after school music program was revamped and transformed into the Elite Rock Band Program, which features some of the most driven and passionate music students URS has cultivated through private instruction. Largely due to the recognition we’ve gained by earning first place in the 2022 & 2023 Spring Break Waterfront Festival’s Battle of the Bands, the Elite Rock Band Program has grown tremendously in 2023 alone, which has opened up an array of annual performance opportunities for local events, carnivals/festivals, competitions, private events, and more!
