I travel quite a bit for work which requires me to stay in hotels regularly. For how long this place has been around, I feel like the condition of the rooms and cleanliness is on par with most places that are getting to the point of needing those bigger renovations and updates. Hotels can only do so much in terms of piecemeal repairs and updates, and anything near water tends to get battered by the elements a little bit more than other places. I look forward to the dock repairs, so I can get back to catching bluegill, crappie, trout, and bass with my boy. A lot of great memories here. I hope to keep them coming.

Our family and friends have made so many wonderful memories here. The amenities and grounds are very well maintained. Throughout the years we've seen many changes, improvements and upgrades. The splash pad is perfect for families with little littles. We've always felt safe, comfortable and welcome. The rangers are good at keeping order and safety. This place is a little oasis, filled with family friendly fun spaces and even adult only relaxation/party zones! The HOLIDAYS and all the seasons!! Omg! SO MUCH FUN! New Years, Easter, Summer, HALLOWEEN, Winter! The ambiance, activities and events are core memory makers for sure. Unfortunately the meadow area was washed out by a winter rain storm (Dec. 2025), but we're excited to see what it will look like once it's back open. Chillaxin in the creek was top tier! The staff is pretty friendly and will answer your questions the best they can. Looking forward to making more memories here over the years to come. Definitely one of my most favorite places!!

I came in 22 out of more than 300 runners. It was my first nude run, and it was refreshing to feel just how freeing it was to run unencumbered by any textiles. The runners came in all ages, shapes, and sizes, but we shared a fun experience together. Everyone is welcoming.

Pillows were top tier. Everything else was kinda mediocre, the Red Bar was closed early... probably understaffed, there weren't any live events at night here, there wasn't any direct elevator from the Lower Level Lobby directly to my guest room. Felt like the property is really under booked with only a few rooms lighted up when I was down at the pool. Looking forward to reserve a tee time for their course next time. Property: 4/5 kinda old, but Alot of celebrities seem to frequent here Rooms: 5/5 very quiet, comfortable, and clean Concierge: 5/5 professional Ammenities: 3/5 they should allow locker room access to guests Last Opinions: Property is a tad bit dark, probably to conserve electricity, Pool access is way too far from rooms, feels like you need a golf cart to gain access everywhere. Unfortunately the room had some plumbing issues and the bathroom was a little rundown in my opinion (on top of the loud noise coming from downstairs) but I want to compliment the friendly staff overall in this review. Something that affected my stay was the pool situation. I was shocked when I discovered how small the pool area is for such a nice big hotel overall. There wasn't enough lounge chairs or anywhere to sit in general. Everyone was playing their own music loud, some louder than others, a bunch of kids splashing everywhere and I was surprised by this since I was thinking this would be a calm, peaceful resort setting. I was honestly surprised that there was no security at the time to enforce anything. Overall I tried to make the best of the circumstances but I will never return to this pool unfortunately. This hotel in general does have great views though. This rating is based on the price point this cabin type facility is compared against not your city hotels. Unit was clean, sheets clean no excessive wear, quaint stylish molding around the floor and ceiling. Kitchen nook was basic essential: clean sink, good working fixtures, no utensils, heavy duty paper towels, double ply Kleenex, floors laminate appeared to be installed 1-2 years ago. There is as a large window size A/C unit which they vented through a wall and neatly duct-taped to close off the wall hole. The finishing of the furnace and older dry wall was a little rough but acceptable. Close to Lake Arrowhead city center, was walkable but you do need to walk along the road without sidewalks so we brought a flashlight for safety in the evening. Jennifer the checkin staff was very friendly and warm. There was a bunch of snacks: Lays Chips, trail mix bar, cans of Coke, popcorn of can microwave in the room, selection of DVDs to borrow, your basic Best Western cereal dispenser, Thomas muffins, peanut butter and Jam family size container. Pleasantly surprised there was a healthier option which I had, fresh strawberries and blackberries and family size Naked juice, and yogurt w only 2 grams sugar. The room had the mini k-cup Peet/Starbucks coffee. For Tv options, you do need to register your personal streaming service with the room AppleTV device. Being in the mountains there was 2-3 bars for WiFi. I heard one unit had ants but ours didn't. Will be back.

There have been a lot of updates since my last visit just last year. New eating space inside, additional cabanas, and the outdoor pool has also had some upgrades with new sun loungers. There's a lot to do and you can easily spend the entire day here, like we did, filled with fun family friendly activities for all ages. $40 each for a day pass, definitely worth the price for all you can do. The food situation was a little disorganized, they are revamping the food scene inside the actual water park area, but I think once it's all done it'll be fine. We had a fun day!

Parking is $35 for the day, or $10 for the first two hours plus $5 for each additional hour. I appreciated that the parking structure is covered. One thing that surprised me was how warm and humid the indoor water park felt. The temperature is kept at 84 degrees, which makes sense for swimming but it was a little muggy and took some getting used to. There are several different play areas that help spread out the crowds. We spent most of our time in the toddler/young kids' section, which was perfect for little ones. The kids also had a great time in the outdoor play area. We rented a cabana for the day and thought it was well worth it, especially for larger groups since open seating can be difficult to find. Our cabana included bottled water in a mini fridge, a small locker, two lounge chairs, a dining table, a couch, towels, and thin curtains that could be closed for a little extra privacy (although they are somewhat see-through). Overall, we had a great experience. It's a fun destination for families year-round since the indoor water park stays warm regardless of the weather. We also played a round of mini golf outside, and the ropes course looked like a lot of fun for older kids and adults. We'd definitely come back.

Her touch was healing and incredibly skilled; the scrub, honey treatment, and soaps left my feet feeling completely renewed. She was also warm, attentive, and just a genuinely kind person to be around. Chris made the day even more special -- it was my birthday, and he went out of his way to bring me treats and check in on me, all with such a thoughtful, attentive attitude. I actually ran into him again about two hours later, working hard in the security area, which just showed how dedicated and hands-on he is across the property. Between Ashley's incredible skill and Chris's genuine warmth, this was easily one of the best hospitality experiences I've had. Highly recommend requesting Ashley for a treatment if you're visiting!

The lobby for the Grand Californian Hotel is the meeting point for the VIP Tours so we were there…read morebright and early in the am. The lobby is absolutely beautiful with all the touches of flowers, floral arrangements, fireplaces, and super-high ceilings. The woodsy environment had me feeling like I was in a Disney storybook. The VIP Desk is tucked away in the back right corner (across the walkway from the shop) and your guide meets you. Well we were on a "treat yo'self day" and we went ahead and grabbed some champagne and beers to start the morning right with a breakfast for champions. We allowed ourselves to hangout here throughout the day and it was absolutely amazing. Now to make sure we stay here next time.
