Wrights has the best BBQ. I eat here often and at the Little Rock location. The ordering process is simple, newly remodeled with tons of extra dining area inside and outside. You should definitely try it if you have the opportunity.

Lots of bbq, allegedly, out there, BUT this the real deal! Ribs, beans and coleslaw were all spectacular. Service was quick and easy for 4 adults and seating aplenty. Great place for a date or a family get-together! Definitely a return customer

Start to finish fantastic! The new entryway and seating area are very nice, clean and open spaces that are very inviting. The outdoor seating area is absolutely fantastic underneath that tree, they centered their seating area around. The service for ordering the food was very organized. While we had a brief delay for them to prepare an online order. They were efficient and got to my order quickly. All of the staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. While I was eating, a manager was cleaning tables and was greeting individuals at the tables asking about their service and food. When I told the manager, I was enjoying my experience, but was disappointed they were already out of brisket, he went to the back and got me a slice of brisket that had just come off the smoker. Now the food! The brisket was melt in your mouth tender. I've never had such tender brisket in my entire life! The pulled pork nachos were very good. But I think my favorite was the spicy jalapeño and cheese sausage link. I had that chopped up and placed on top of my nachos and that was exceptional! Moral of the story. If you have not been to the new updated, Wrights barbecue, you must go! Fantastic start to finish!

Amazing BBQ that is NOT in KC! Being from Kansas City I am always looking for good BBQ no matter where I travel. It is usually hit or miss across the country and most BBQ is just different. Different can be really good. This place was a hit and honestly not much different in my opinion. I tried the 3 meat combo with Bacon Burnt Ends, Beef Ribs and smoked turkey, and a Woo Pig Sandwich. All of it was smoked to perfection with great seasoning. The bacon burnt end reminded me about how I need to make this at home again... it's been a while. They were smoky, with great bark and very juicy. The beef ribs were fall off the bone good. The turkey was the surprise here. It was super flavorful and so juicy! The Woo pig had super flavorful pulled pork and a jalapeño sausage. Don't let the jalapeño throw you off. It wasn't super spicy but rather had a great jalapeño flavor. The meats stood on their own without sauce but the variety of sauces just enhanced the experience. Bold, Spicy, Sweet and OG gave a nice selection of sauces. They were all really good but I was partial to the sweet being a KC style BBQ lover. The deviled egg potato salad was a definite hit along with the baked beans. I want to find a flaw in any part of this meal but there just isn't one. I am a fan! Warren at Wright's BBQ took great care of us answering our questions, made great suggestions, giving us some back story on the business and genuinely was interested in our thoughts and opinions. I'll be back to try all the things I didn't have a chance to try this trip. Also, if it's good enough for Jason Kelce... it good enough for me! lol

Great BBQ. This is a no-frills barbecue joint. You order at the counter, pick up your food and find a picnic table. Their barbecue is the best. I've ever had. The ribs melted in your mouth and just fell right off the bone. And the brisket and pulled pork was just amazing. There's multiple barbecue sauces at your table that you can try. Get there early! The line gets pretty long around dinner time and they do sell out of items.

I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and bacon burnt ends, collard greens, and smoked beans. My husband had the ribs plate with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The star of the show was definitely the bacon burnt ends! Fatty, bouncy, crispy, and flavorful! Loved it so much. The brisket was pretty good too, but the burnt ends are the most memorable. I really liked my sides of collard greens and smoked beans too and would get those again. My husband had the ribs plate, and while I thought the ribs were good and tender, I preferred the brisket and burnt ends. Of the 3 bbq sauces (sweet, spicy, bold), the best one was the bold bbq sauce, which had kind of a honey mustard flavor to it. There was ample seating and service was nice. Being from California, I thought the prices were not bad at all. My only complaint is that they keep the AC so cold in there that the food was pretty cold by the time I ate it. Would have been so much better had it been warm.

Oh. My. Goodness. If you do anything in this city, it has to be eating here. I'm only halfway through my meal and already planning the next time I'll be back. I've never had barbecue like this before. It's unreal how delicious it is. The mashed potatoes are heaven, the green beans are the best I've ever had, and my pulled pork sandwich is DELICIOUS. There's more sides than you know what to do with and the meat choices are endless. There is something for everyone. You feel right at home at Wright's. The people are kind, the restaurant has a homey feel, and everyone around you is happy and satisfied. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!

Wright's started out as a food truck at the Fayetteville Farmers' Market, but I didn't get a chance to try them until shortly after they opened up their brick and mortar. It was good, but I wasn't just blown away- everything, from the meat, to the sides, to the sauce, was heavily seasoned with black pepper, so it was all very one-note. I recently tried them for a second time and enjoyed it a lot more. The heavy black pepper seemed to be used a lot more sparingly, so you could taste the other flavors and seasonings in everything. The ribs and brisket were particularly delicious, as were the turnip greens. If you're craving BBQ, Wright's is definitely the best NWA has to offer. read more

I ate here for lunch today After finding them on Yelp; and they were only over a mile away from where I was needing to be. AND there menu showed that they apparently had Burnt Ends on the menu DAILY Most BBQ joints ONLY do 1 Day and sold out by Noon IF they even have them in the menu. Anyways. I was greeted by Very Sincerely Friendly Staffers. I am Leary of Most BBQ joints but I am Also Adventurous. But was unsure of what to settle on. However, the Staff were Very Fast to refer me AND gave me Generous Sample of BOTH the Brisket AND Burnt Ends I Was SOLD. My family owned Seafood/Steakhouse when I was growing up AND, I owned a restaurant for a few years (And sold it to Live In and travel Europe Again. Staff and Food, as well as Atmosphere were Awesome. Great place to Make time to eat Great BBQ Plenty of seating Indoors and A Lot outdoors. Great place to eat and visit with friends/family. read more

In my opinion this is the best place to go. I just wish they had a bigger place and better hours. But, as far as food goes for BBQ I think this place is where it's at. Never had a bad experience here and food has always been fantastic. My only complaint is I like to go to a place and sit down and order from a menu. I don't care much for places where you have to crowd up at the counter to look and see what you want then order like it's McDs. Just my opinion and didn't want to necessarily knock them for that. read more

I've heard folks mention this gem... I visited the Bentonville location and ordered the beef brisket, greens and mac and chicken. I've been looking for a southern soul place and darn it, I FOUND IT!!! Unfortunately, I did not like the greens but everything else was great!!! You want go wrong when deciding if Wrights your option for lunch or dinner. read more

This was a terrific meal today. Visited for lunch on a Saturday for the first time. The brisket was amazingly tender. You can get meat trays or sandwiches and add sides. The Mac and cheese was really good. Similar to velveeta shells and cheese. The baked beans had a little kick to them. There are 3 sauces. All very good. If you go in there wanting an intimate setting and privacy, this is not the place for you. There is not a lot of seating in the main building and most of it is 2 10-top tables and you sit close with strangers. The back room has about 5 or 6 4-top tables. There's a outside tent with heaters for the winter months. It's just a great, casual, hometown place to eat. Will definitely go back. read more

I had the brisket, cheese jalapeño pork sausage, Mac and cheese and smoked beans. I am be no means a bbq expert but I can say I've had my share of bbq. Even though this is much better than franchise bbq places, this was not the best bbq place I've been to. The food was good, I just think the brisket was over cooked and slightly mushy and dry. I had to add some bbq sauce which is never a good sign when you are talking about bbq. They were also out of the ribs so I settled for the sausage. Friendly staff and quick service. The BBQ is the best around. There will be a wait if you get there at lunch! They do a great job catering events as well. We have had them cater several family events. It is hard to specify what I like best but I'd lean towards the brisket. It is my favorite. read more

Visiting a friend in Arkansas, and she said she had heard how good this place was. I'm like, ok, I'm from Texas. We can do brisket. My husband finally mastered it and not many can match it. Anyway, we got brisket and Turkey breast, as well as quite a few sides. I was a little worried when they didn't ask if we wanted moist or lean. That's a standard question at craft BBQ places in Texas. Turns out we got the center cut. It was good! I was impressed! Would love to try the moist next timeS. The bark was nice and flavorful, good salt and pepper mix. Turkey was solid, good stuff. The baked beans were sweet and peppery. The cole slaw was refreshing and salty! Will try again when visiting the area. Great job guys! read more

The service was great and although there was a line out the door, it moved quickly. We got the Texas Trinity and 2 meat (burnt ends and pulled pork). For our sides we got potato salad, mac n cheese, baked beans and chips. The sides were okay to me. The meats were delicious when you first eat it. But after a while, the burnt ends and ribs got salty. I would still get both again but wouldn't be able to eat as much due to the saltiness. The meat fell off the bones on the ribs and burnt ends were crispy. Brisket was good but got dried after sitting on the plate after a while. Pulled pork was moist. All in all, food was pretty good. read more

Wow! Completely blown away by Wright's Barbecue. Arkansas is not known for barbecue, but Wright's apparently didn't listen. This spot reminds me a lot of Snow's in Lexington, TX (current #1 on the Texas Monthly Top 50) because it's a quaint looking house with outdoor seating and a great view of the pits. Oh and it produces top-notch barbecue. The bacon burnt ends might be the single best meat item I've ever eaten, the mac is superb and the ribs and brisket are high quality. This would be a top-15 joint in Texas. Unbelievable to find this in NW Arkansas read more

IMO, best BBQ in NWA!!! Had to give 4 stars instead of 5 bc we have shown up and waited in line only to find out that they are out of chicken and only have beef or pork. We have tried to call ahead or order ahead but we have not been successful getting them to answer the phone when we call. I enjoy the platter and usually stretch it into three great meals. Same with the house salad with smoked chicken. We tried the banana pudding on our last visit. One of the best "commercial" banana puddings that I have tried. Wish it had had more vanilla wafers though. Each time that we have eaten the food it has been delicious. Will definitely be back. read more

Best BBQ hands down. Great sauce, great sides. The burnt ends and mac and cheese are delicious. My son's "go to" is the RocketMan with mac and cheese - huge amount of food (great for an athlete) but I couldn't finish one alone! Nice waitstaff and good service. Go early or you'll wait in line and into the possibility of them running out of items. Want great bbq? This is it! read more

Food was absolutely delicious! I've enjoyed BBQ in many southern states and this was some of the best. Burnt ends and macaroni and cheese were my favorite. Scratch-made pies were also stars. HIGHLY recommend. We were road tripping from Texas to Missouri and we will continue to detour for this place on our next trip! read more

Agree that they do BBQ "Wright"! Was suggested this place by front desk at our hotel. She was right, people don't come back unsatisfied. I asked when we got here what they were know for and he said for sure the brisket. It didn't disappoint however the ribs were a close 2nd. I liked the non traditional side of squash and zucchini. Three sauce selections and all were yummy. I couldn't choose one! Would recommend and come back when in the area! read more

I had the brisket and cheddar jalapeno sausage. The sausage was really good, perhaps the best I've had. The brisket was good but I thought it was cut a little thin. Also, for the price of the plate I was disappointed that I only had two slices. I have my own trailer pit so I can be a little more critical than some. I will definitely come back again though. read more

I'm extremely impressed with this little hidden gem down the road a piece from where I work! Two close friends of mine kept telling me I should try it, but not being a huge fan of BBQ, I kept procrastinating, about going. Best pulled pork and brisket I have EVER eaten. You don't even NEED sauce, because the smoked meat flavor is THAT good and in my opinion is perfectly able to stand on it's own!! The jalapeño cheddar sausage was fantastic too. Let's talk sides.... Twice baked potato salad had a ton of handmade luv all up in it, green beans had a nice little slant to the sweet side which I personally loved. Baked beans...... well I'm gonna be honest, I like my recipe much better, but I DID love it that it appeared maybe they cook their own pintos first, which is impressive to me. read more

Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had! We met up with friends in the middle of the day, so the line wasn't terrible. I ordered the chicken and potato salad. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor ( even without sauce). My husband had the brisket and I regretted not getting that too. Next time we are ordering extra to take home! We sat in the front room, which was rather warm ( it was late July) but I'd gladly sweat if it meant eating Wright's BBQ! read more

My sister lives in NWA and loves to take us to new places when we visit! This place did not disappoint! You know when the line is out the door the place is good!!! We had a variety of their menu and everyone loved what they ordered. This will be a repeat for sure!!! Loved the little chocolate chip cookies that came with each meal!! read more

I have been to this restaurant several times. Every time I have ever been there, the lines are always long. The waiters are very nice. Even though the lines are relatively long, the people cooking and everything make the lines go faster are quick and easy. Often, when I go up there who took my order, they explained that some of the meats and vegetables were gone and explained how good they are. I would honestly only go here if you have time. Even though they are not open seven days a week, they make up for it by having delicious food. I would make sure to be aware of your surroundings when you pull up because people are coming in and out of the same driveway when you get there. read more

Yes. Just, yes. Yes, yes, yes. I just got home after probably my 9th, maybe 10th trip to Wright's this year and damn it. Damn it. It's the best brisket I've ever had. It's the best barbecue I've ever had. It's the best I think I'll ever have. Memphis doesn't top it. Kansas City doesn't top it. Texas doesn't top it. I don't care if you vehemently disagree. All I ask is try it. Just once. Try it. Then we'll talk. Wright's elicits a melt-in-your-mouth, forget to breathe, what's my purpose in life and why doesn't it involve this brisket type of emotion. Ate there tonight with friends. The line was out the door, parking lot full. It took less than 10 minutes to get inside, place order and go outside to sit, visit and listen to a very good blues group. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and upfront about being sold out of some items. The food was the best we have had since Phil's in Westville, OK. The ribs tender and juicy, brisket tender and juicy, and the baked beans were fabulous. Could not believe the price. We've paid more for pizza. Highly recommend. Wright's was not on the bucket list but certainly should have been and for that, I apologize. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and had a perfect 1/8" smoke ring. The spicy sauce is an outstanding marriage of spicy, sweet, & smokey. The jalapeno cheddar hotlink would come next on my list, closely followed by the bacon burnt ends that are coating in fragrant pepper. I drove 20 miles on Saturday sept 5, only to find it closed at 4 30PM The web site said it would be closed for labor day and said open till 8 PM today...WRONG!!! web site also talked about ordering for carryout When I arrived there was a big cardboard sign stating closed this weekend. When this place opened it instantly became the best BBQ in NWA. The bacon burnt ends are innovative and mouth watering. The Brisket is moist and juicy and leaves you begging for more. The black pepper based rub has a great bite to it and for me you can never have too much seasoning. If you like Butter on your bread, you are going to love this sandwich. Great texture on the meat, soft and juicy. If you like a good kick to your beans, they have some warm flavors. Dont be fooled. Burnt ends is not burnt ends - it's bacon. Lots of it. Lots of fat and salt. Be careful. Medical bills were over $10,000 after the "burnt ends". It is like eating an entire package of bacon that has been smoked and salted. All the bbq sauce in the world didn't keep it from being salty. read more

I grew up in KC eating Gate's, Bryant's and Q39. Wright's goes toe to toe with them. People complain about the prices.
