I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received at Wright Jeweler's. I lost a diamond in a family heirloom and my husband took it to Wright Jewelers for the one diamond to be replaced. When he dropped it off the gentleman said that my rings posts were so weak, because it's so very old, that it was close to falling apart. We picked it up on Monday and I was elated because it's so beautiful it looks brand new. And this ring is at least 40 years old. On Wednesday I noticed that a diamond had fell out and I was definitely a bit disappointed. I sent a message on Facebook and the gentleman that fixes the jewelry, messaged me back within minutes and told me to bring it in the next day. That was today. I dropped it off at 10:30 AM and by noon it was ready. It's absolutely beautiful and they fixed it free of charge. I'm very grateful that they stand by their work. read more

Called to check on getting a appraisal on a ring I have. The lady I spoke with was very nice. Once I walked into the store itself I felt very uncomfortable. I asked for a appraisal and was told the appraisal would cost 75$ and I would have to leave my ring until he could get to it. Well- nope not leaving a precious heirloom with anyone - also he could put me in front of everyone for 125$. I was never informed of the charge over the phone. No big deal , but I'm not comfortable leaving something with someone I'm not familiar with. I actually saw the back of the store laughing when the sales gal told them this. Won't be back to this business- not only how uncomfortable they made me feel but also because the appraiser didn't even bother to come out and speak to me personally. I would give negative stars if I could. They set a center stone in a 3 ring setting and its not even centered. They also set a stone into my engagement ring and cut the prongs down really short so that the culet (bottom point on the stone) was actually into the bottom of the head. Ray Wright was not asked to make the prongs shorter. It took ALOT away from the appearance of my ring. I asked him to correct his mistake and he wanted to charge me another $200 to correct the error he made. Furious!! read more

My wife and I had a couple of rings resized and I just wanted to share this with everyone, my wife has worn her wedding rings for 20 years and after she got it back from being sized she cried she was so happy to see how great it looked she couldn't believe it. They also did my Masonic ring and it was a fantastic job a true craftsman to there trade. Jewelry repair/sizing is a completely painless experience, with the experience of staff and knowing your jewelry stays in-house for the repair needs. Also extremely affordable repairs and sizing. Their is always a sale in house, as well. A couple of weeks before my wedding I had decided to try my wedding band on. It was a bit too small when I got it from a different jeweler, but this time I could barely get it off. I took my wedding band to Wrights Jewelers and informed them that my wedding was two weeks away and asked if they could have it done in time. I was informed that it would be finished by the next day! My engagement ring was slightly small, so I decided to have them size it too. The next day I go to pick them up, and not only do they fit perfectly, they also dipped both rings so they looked brand new. I also had a scratch in my engagement ring that would rub on my finger. I never mentioned the scratch, as I forgot about it, and they had also removed the scratch! The fact that they took the time to fix my ring without me asking, even if it was a small scratch, is amazing. I will absolutely be coming back with my rings for possible future repairs, and will definitely be back to purchase an anniversary band. Sized my ring and thinned out the shank so much that it broke. Upon taking it back in, they did solder it back but refused to add more gold/reshank the ring in order for it to be more durable- unless I paid a large amount of money out of pocket to have it fixed. As this was their mistake, I refused- and the jeweler got very nasty with me and called me a liar, saying I must have had work done on it somewhere else and that it wasn't a mistake on their part. He completely denied liability. I'm in the process of submitting a complaint with the BBB- no one should be able to treat an honest customer this way, and extort money from them for a repair that should be done for free. My husband and I bought our wedding jewelry 11 years ago from a national jewelry chain. Every 6 months, we bring our wedding pieces to this jeweler to be inspected and maintained as part of the service plan we purchased. Last week we stopped by the national jeweler for a maintenance visit with my husband's ring badly needing repair (he tends to be hard on everything he wears). We also took in two other jewelry pieces not bought at the jeweler to get an estimate for service: taking links out of a tennis bracelet and fixing a one of a kind hand made bracelet's clasp. According to the national jeweler, they would take out the links and fix the clasp for $75/piece, and they were unable to fix my husband's ring. They wanted us to exchange the ring for something more expensive and pay the difference between what we originally paid (gold was worth less 11 years ago) and the more expensive ring. Plus, we'd have to give the original ring back, losing the diamonds mounted in my husband's band. We wanted a second opinion before shelling out extra cash for a replacement band and for the minor repairs to the other two pieces. Having seen TV ads for Wright's, we thought we'd give them a try. WHAT A GREAT DECISION! Wright's serviced both bracelets for $77 TOTAL! Upon looking at my husband's band, they did agree with the national jeweler that my husband's band was not able to be fixed. Wright's was having a great sale, 50% off ALL their current stock, so my husband kept his damaged band and bought a replacement band from Wright's for a great price. Now we can keep the diamonds from my husband's original band to re-mount as a future anniversary gift, or as a gift piece for my daughter or future son-in-law. We received exceptional, EXCEPTIONAL customer service from the Wright's staff. We visited the shop on 3 separate occasions. Each visit was full of personal attention and knowledgeable information. We were so frustrated and disappointed with the national jeweler, but dealing with Wright's afterwards made a huge difference in how these situations turned out for us. We will be making our future jewelry purchases from Wright's as long as we live in this area. read more
