They just added parts on the mower without asking that we wanted the repair done then gave us the bill and only would take 25$ off for their mistake/ non consulting the customer before making the repairs. I won't be going back here ever. Quoted 349 told it was 549 when it was done. Big difference. I'd of been okay had they called and asked before putting the parts on but they didn't. THE RUDEST BUSINESS OWNER ON THE PLANET I recently stopped in and picked up my two mower tires that I had them switch tires and rims and had the most toxic interaction with a business EVER!! When I walked in, the guy on the right is on staring at the computer and doesn't say anything, the same as the last time I was in and I the guy I dealt with the other day was at the other end. There was a different guy in the middle that wasn't there the last time. I told him I was there to pick up my tires and he looked me up and all of that was normal and fine. He then told me, "That will be $61". I said, "What was that" and he repeated $61! I said, "holy f***" out of the sheer shock of the price. Not loudly or directed at him, just the thought in my head came quietly out of my mouth. He said "watch your language" with a disgusting look on us face. I said "Sorry, I was told $25 when I called in". He said "That's each" raised his voice and looked even more pissed off. I grumbled a bit I'm sure and said, "Well, that's not what I was told". He yelled to the back, "Kim, did you talk to him? Did you tell him each"? She replied "Yes". His face and body language was obviously pissed off. I said, "Whatever, just run it", while holding my card out not seeing the card reader right below me on the counter. He then proceeded to say "You're an a$$" and grabbed my card out of my hand and said "Here let me do it for you since you probably can't do it yourself" and grabbed the card reader from in front of me. I open carry and he looked at my gun and said, "I know a place you can put that gun, up your a$$"! Then I'm sure I called him an a$$hole or d**head or something being in such shock a business would be talking to a customer like this and I said "I have to watch my mouth but you can curse at me and say sh#$ like that". Then I said, "I'm never coming here again"! He yelled, "Good! Don't"! and he literally crinkled up my bill and threw the bill and receipt at my face and again said "You're an a$$" and leaned towards me a little over the counter like he wanted to take a swing at me! I'm sure I called him a name or two back because he pissed me off so much so quickly and looked and got somewhat confrontational then I asked, "Are you the owner"? He said, "Yes". I said, "Wow, where's my tires"? While just shaking my head. He said, "Right there, you probably need me to carry those for you, don't you"? I told him, "No, I got them". He then told me to get out don't come back or something else rude I'm sure and called be an a$$ again while I walked out! I'm sure I called him something back. This was all in probably less than two minutes! I'm pretty laid back and it takes a lot to rile me up but when I am, I give it right back. I regret and definitely shouldn't have said my initial "holy f***" comment hearing the price but that is ZERO EXCUSE for a company to immediately escalate, be confrontational and be totally rude towards a customer, especially from someone who said he was the owner! I explained on the phone before I came in that I was swapping two rims and tires and was NOT told $25 each or I would have NEVER dropped them off in the first place so I know I wasn't told that! I would never have paid that insane price. I think she even put me on hold for a second to ask someone when I initially called in. I had another place swap two tires from lawn tread to tractor tread last season for about $25 for BOTH so them telling me $25 over the phone seemed reasonable. When the bead didn't hold on the tire, they put an inner tube in it for $12 and didn't charge me to remount the tire. The only reason I didn't go back to that place is it was farther away and out of my way. Looking at Google reviews I saw someone complaining about a guy at the counter cursing while in the phone in front of customers. Kind of ironic that I'm immediately attacked with verbal curse words and totally rude comments back at me for being in total shock. They also don't respond to any reviews that I saw on Google, Facebook, good or especially bad ones! So they must not care about their customers at all. And there's nothing on the BBB at all! 31 years and not a review, good or bad. When I dropped off my tires, nothing was said about or confirmed any pricing to at all. I also asked how much a tune up was and was told about $350 or so depending!! $350 for inspection, oil change, filter, spark plug and check and adjust the carburetor and throttle? That's a tune up right? Like a 30-45 minute job maybe? Let's say an hour to be safe. $350? After reading the reviews about service on equipment not bought from them being put at the bottom of the list and this totally insane and rude owner, I will not EVER go back there!!! NEVER! I bought one of the best husqy chainsaws on the market from these guys. After 10 months the carburetor failed and the machine failed. I took the saw back to Wright Bros and without any hassle they organized a warranty claim on my behalf. The chainsaw has had its carburetor / cylinder replaced and everything was done with a smile. If you are planning to buy a larger machine and have to travel out from Columbus to take advantage of their discounts - do it. They are honorable, trustworthy, reliable men. If I could I would give them more stars for their no hussle / no hassle service. read more
