I really hate change so I have waited to place an order with the new owners of Wright away Delivery! Today we decided to give it a try! Well I called three times and got a text on my phone telling me that they were taking an order and to call back. On the forth call I left a message stating my intention of placing an order. TEXT MESSAGES: Me: "Do you deliver until nine (9)" WAD : "We do. We are both out on other orders ahead of you though and can't call any more in until theses are done " Me : "So do you think I will be able to order tonight?" WAD: "I can't be sure. It depends on these restaurants orders and how fast they are. Everyone is really busy tonight" Me: "I will just call and pick up myself" WAD: " Good deal. Sorry we are so swamped 10 min later...... WAD "I just got finished with my orders. Are you all taken care of?" Unfortunately that was "five" minutes to nine 8:55pm and I had to place an order somewhere else or no one would have delivered after nine. The only reason I am giving them one star is because I received a text back. If they would have placed the order before nine the restaurant would have prepared the order even if they didn't get to it until a few minutes late, but by not taking the order they would have ensured the order couldn't be placed after nine. I hope in the next several months they can have a plan on how to accommodate every call! My husband and I ordered 4-6 times a week in the past and that is a lot of lost revenue that is critical to a small business in the winter months. read more

You sure won't hear me 'yelping' about the service from Wright Away Delivery. Tonight I ordered a great meal from Alchemy...and Lelah Wright showed up at 6pm on the dot with my piping hot Cape Cleary Wild Salmon dinner and icy cold salad. I've been a customer of Wright Away since they opened. On a dark rainy night like tonight it is SUCH a treat to have a fantastic meal arrive as requested...and for just a five dollar delivery charge. You can really count on the service to get your meal on time, and to get it right. Wright? I gave gift certs for Wright Away as Christmas presents to several of my friends this year. Great service! We received our food within a half hour of ordering, fresh and hot at a most reasonable price for delivery. So nice when doing 24/7 care for my aged father to share a good meal together without my having to cook up separate items to satisfy everyone. Agree with the previous reviewer that more restaurants in Port Townsend should sign up. read more
