I stopped by AAMCO near my house on the way back and got a ballpark "top of the head" type estimate. Took a few days for me to arrange things. I also had feared a much worse estimate! When I picked it up, they told me they had found some other badly worn parts and had replaced those at cost, no labour charge. Vehicle was clean and everything working properly when I picked it up. Due to the worn parts discovered, they did not rebuild my trans but put in a different rebuilt. Van is running fine now.
