I wasn't worried because I know FX stands by their work, so I went to see them and let them know of my issue. They told me that there's no way to get that fixed reliably, and that I can have them remove the tint over the back window over the dot matrix and get it coated with an opaque vinyl. They warned, however, that it would likely damage my radio, so I'd have to be comfortable with the risk. Guys - if a part of your work isn't going to turn out, your customer should know about this before swiping their credit cards. If they raise an issue, saying "we can fix our mistake but it may screw up your car" isn't customer service. You're supposed to make it right. I'd stay away, go to somewhere that will be transparent with you from the jump.

Getting an appointment at "my" convenience was a breeze, and Jeff walked around and inspected my vehicle prior to the process. He will notice any minor scratches or imperfections, and point them out. The waiting room is clean and comfy, with Netflix and free WiFi. The process took just under 2 hours. After the tint, Jeff walked around my vehicle, explaining the maintenance. You should leave the windows up for 5-7 days. There was a bit of a hazy coating on the windows, which Jeff said would disappear, and it did. My concerns were bubbles, but the tint was flawless! No bubbles found! He even introduced me to the team member who did the tint, and brought me behind the scenes to explain the process. It seems browsing the internet is more interesting than helping a potential customer. When I finally did get someone to talk to me, they weren't interested in helping with the query I had, but instead were very forceful in trying to up sale their own products. The guy took my number and said he would get back to me with an answer. 4 months later I'm still waiting for his call back, and have taken my custom elsewhere.
