I must say that I would never go to anyone else, but Lena. I had previously gone to some other techs, whose work cannot even come close to what Lena does. I met Lena at another salon close to my house, but when she stopped coming, I followed her all the way to Falls Church. Eyes are very important and you cannot just put your trust in anyone to come close to what is the most precious organ. But Lena has been an unbelievable. She is very gentle with your lashes and your eyes. I personally don't like the fake look of lashes, but the way Lena does my lashes, so far, no one in my family/relatives have noticed the extension. That's how natural they look. I have a lot to about Lena's work, but one word that describes her work is "OUTSTANDING!" Wow! "Wow Lash Studio" is the perfect name. Mimi is INCREDIBLE. I had an appt at 8:15 but she was extremely patient when I didn't show up until 8:50 (not advocating for late arrivals but she was so accommodating) for my FIRST APPOINTMENT! I was a little nervous because this was my first time getting lash extensions but Mimi knew exactly what she was doing. I showed her a few pictures and she worked her magic. Mind you, I am VERY picky and I left extremely happy. She even checked in with me to remind me of my 2 week appointment and was patient with my late response. It was very relaxing, not painful at all, and she made sure I loved it every step of the way. 2.5 weeks later and they still look great, although I'm going for a fill in soon. I noticed a few misconceptions in the reviews: If your lash extensions are falling out shortly in just a few days after your appointment, it usually means that you didn't allow for the lash glue to cure for the full 24-48 hours. It's important to take extreme good care of your extensions. It is also a myth that lash extensions makes your real lashes fall out. It is natural for lashes to fall out over time because the average human sheds 1-4 lashes a day. That is why you need to go get your extensions filled every 2-3 weeks to maintain them. And don't forget to clean your lashes with a soft brush and micellar water! You don't want build up near your eyes! read more

I am very picky about how my makeup looks and have had a bad experience with lash extensions in the past. It left me with almost no natural lashes for months and some trust issues. After visiting WOW lash studio, I am hooked. The experience itself is really relaxing -I nearly fall asleep during my service- and the result is amazing. My eyelashes became short, thin and skimpy after years of using waterproof mascara and eyelash enhancer. I found Wow Lash on Yelp when I went to Va for a weekend trip. I was nervous having to go an unknown place. When I met Mimi, she was very professional, explained the steps in detail and made me very comfortable. She was very patient, took her time applying the lashes and I relaxed and almost fell a sleep. She did a beautiful job considering a poor state of my lashes. She recommended me to remove all the extension lashes later and give them a rest for at least a month and massage with olive oil every day. My sister and I have been coming to Mimi for the last year and she's fabulous! She's extremely friendly and professional. She also is great about working with your schedule for appointments. Emma is the BEST! I originally got my lashes done when I was living in Thailand and could not find anywhere over here to get them done at a reasonable price. I drive an hour every two weeks to get my lashes filled at Wow Lash Studio because Emma is not only super sweet and wonderful BUT she also does a fantastic job. Entering the spotless barbershop where WoW Lashes is situated, I went back to a cute private room where Mimi works her magic! My lashes are very thin with barely enough growth to put on extensions. Mimi did a wonderful job of putting on the extensions which gave a full but natural effect. WoW! They stayed on better than the salon I had been going to. Mimi has products available - sleeping masks, cleaners for extensions, lint-free applicators - all of which you would have to spend time finding yourself. Wow Lash did a great job on my lashes. I got them done for my daughter's wedding and since this wash my first time, I did not know what to expect.
