Instead they have this machine that gently taps the base of the neck (the "nucleus" of the spine). It gives a magnetic jolt (no pain - can't feel it at all). I didn't have pain the next day, I'll admit, and maybe I'm weird b/c I kind of prefer the traditional chiropractic experience but the biggest issue was the smell. It smelled so bad (like subway onion bad). Honestly not sure if I should try it again just to see if it was a one off... I doubt I'll go back. Best wishes.

For several - actually a little more than three years - I continued to visit a leading sports medicine and orthopedic doctor at Emory Hospital. My lower back pain at this point was affecting my posture, walking and standing. i had never had trouble with my back in my life, but now I was bending over while walking and leaning on shopping carts in the store to assit me and provide some relief when shopping. After several visits to the doctor at Emory, he concluded that the problem was a loss of cartiledge at the base of my spine and that there was essentially nothing I could do about it. I also informed that doctor of another compaint, pain in my neck and shoulders. I called a few offices but nobody could see me same day as a new patient except Fidelity Healthcare. The front desk assistance was able to squeeze me in same day, I was ecstatic. The office assistant greeted me as soon as I entered. After completing my paperwork I was taken to their massage chair room, it's very nice and a brilliant idea. You totally forget waiting after sitting down for a chair massage. I was so tense in my back so I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to the first visit but it was fantastic on the second visit. After the massage chair you're brought into the treatment room. Everything appears to be state of the art and the facility is super clean and organized which I love. While waiting for the doctor I received heat on my back and a nice stretch on the table. Dr. Taylor then walks in and is very pleasant and his positive energy instantly put me at ease. He provided an adjustment and recommendations for self treatment. I went back the following week to see him and experienced the same great service. The pain in my back went from a 8 to 3 in a few days...hallelujah!! Dr. Taylor is my new chiropractor so if or when I need treatment, I know where to go. The lady at the desk was very nice and I'm sure her shift didn't start until 10 so I don't blame her per se, but the doctor who owns the business should be held responsible for not paying someone to open the doors 30 minutes earlier to give patients a place to wait who arrived only few minutes early out of simple courtesy for the staff themselves. This is not how human beings should treat one another. Particularly those who respect your time by showing up early. I will spend my time and money with another chiropractor in the area.
