It's been about 3 hours & I still can't believe the experience I had with Eric today at World Toyota so I do decided to share this encounter in hopes that no one else has an experience like this. I came in for an oil change & maintenance check. Before I left my car to get service Eric said I will need new tires & I asked him how long that would take & he gave me an estimate so I told him I may not be able to do that today so he said he would give me a call after they do the inspection. About 2 hours later I received a text message with the service recommendations & as I was reviewing it Eric gave me a call to let me know my car would be ready in 15 minutes. I told him I was just reviewing the recommendations & was going to give him a call because I wanted to get a few of the services done today. I told him the 4/6 services I wanted to get done today if they had time to work on my car & that I even saw a coupon on their website for one of the services (brake pads) & he was telling me he doesn't recommend I do one of the services (brake pads) without doing another service (rotor) so the coupon price I'm seeing online would be more & that I should just come in to talk to him about everything (totally dismissing the other 3 services I wanted to get done). Once I walked inside to his desk the first thing he said standing behind the 2 computers was $25.50. I made a comment as to why we were talking with the computers between us (we couldn't see each others face) and he just repeated $25.50. So I walked to the side of the desk so we could see each others face & I said I thought we were going to discuss the recommended services & he was like oh yeah I recommend you getting tires & wheel alignment as your priority. I asked him the price for the tires & told him I will do some research & get back to him. I then asked if it was okay to get the brake pads done before getting new tires and he was hesitant to answer & just went back to talking about the tires and that I would be getting 1 tire free with the price he is quoting me for. I then wanted to confirm if one of the services I wanted to get done if I had it done before & as Eric was looking through the computer he was like "nope you didn't get it done, u came back another time then we haven't seen you since". Eric's comment was very rude & unnecessary as I take good care of my car and stay on top of my services. I got back to asking Eric about scheduling a time to get these 4 services done & he mentioned I can drop my car off & get uber back to my house. I told him oh I would have used that service today if I knew it was offered here because I use to use the shuttle service when I use to go to Stone Mountain Toyota. Eric looked at me & said "well we wouldn't offer you a $40 uber ride for a $19 oil change" then did a smirk. I told him even before I knew I was going to use the oil change coupon that Uber option wasn't available online. He then responded by saying "oh I don't even know if the website has that on there". He doesn't even know if his company website mentions the Uber so he just made that comment to me to be nasty. Eric brought the conversation back to the tires and said he heard a sound when he was driving my car & asked if I have been hearing it and I said no. He said "well that's probably because you're use to the sound but the sound I'm taking about is because your tires are bad". I jokingly said well I haven't heard it but I hope I don't start hearing it now. Eric got very defensive and said "how you drove your car in is how you'll drive it out ". After this last comment I just said okay I'll go ahead and pay now. So instead of leaving with $500+ worth of services, because of Eric's rude comments and one track mind on getting new tires I left with only spending $25. Also once I got home and reviewed my receipt I realized my service form did not have Synthetic oil listed like all my previous service forms did so I called and LVM for Eric on the number he called me from earlier and texted the number he was communicating from asking what oil was put in my car and I did not get a response. I will be taking the long drive & returning to Stone Mountain Toyota for all my future services where I am treated and talked to with respect while receiving world class customer service. read more

Then they did not know how to bill for a company car, fleet vehicle - like they have never done it. Had to figure it out on the spot. Unreal. In 30yrs of car ownership and service I have never seen anything like this. While waiting, two service managers were talking within earshot of our group that had been waiting forever. After purchasing a used car with a $1000 documentation fee I still thought I got a good deal. However, after dealing with empty promises on the timeline this "good deal" became awful. Do not order parts from this dealer. I placed an order on 9/18/25 for in stock parts that were not back ordered or hard to obtain. After no indication the order was mailed I sent several emails with hit or miss returns days later and no phone calls ever returned. I finally received part of my order over a month later on 10/21/25. It was packaged very poorly and both the CV axle's seals and dust covers were bent, one needing replaced and the other I straightened. I was also missing one of the oil seals on my order. I sent an email within an hour of receiving the order explaining the missing seal part number. I did get a response initially stating it would ship on 10/22. No seal has shipped and the parts department won't return my emails or phone calls. I sent an email to the General Manager Curtis Smith copying the parts department explaining the missing part and still no response from anyone. When a business takes your money for an order holds it for a month and then doesn't sent you all the parts you ordered is beyond dishonest. I see they have other reviews with the same service. I will turn them into Visa, I bet it cost them a lot more in the end. I highly recommend not ordering parts through this dealership, to many other good ones out there. read more

I purchased a 2008 Highlander from Patrick @ World Toyota in Chamblee. Patrick was such a gentleman - very helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and patient with me. Patrick negotiated an EXCELLENT deal with me. They paperwork was a breeze - in and out in less than 2 hours. The day after my air went out (the highs that week were close to 100 degrees), I took my car to the Toyota dealership by me in McDonough. Over $400 later, I was told the AC evaporator needed to be replaced. Yikes! I called Patrick up and he asked me to bring in my vehicle. World Toyota ended up giving me a 2025 Toyota Camery as a loner (beautiful car by the way), kept my car for over a week, fixed my AC, and didn't charge me a thing! Now that's service! My only complaint is someone went through the new paperwork I had in the glove compartment and removed the Carfax and who knows what else? It was definitely there when I gave them the car. :( Patrick doesn't know, but I was in the market to buy another car soon. I had my vehicle serviced by the collision center at World Toyota Chamblee. I received a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup on 12/30/2024. I arrived at the collision center on 01/03/2025 to pick up my vehicle. The service representative reviewed the work completed on my vehicle and handed me the keys. My vehicle was parked out front when I arrived. When I dropped off my vehicle, prior to any work being completed, the interior was in a clean condition. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I opened the door and was met with a terrible odor that could only be described as a mix of garbage, urine, and feces. There was trash all around with what appeared to be feces on the driver's seat. I opened the trunk of my vehicle and to my disbelief I found a homeless man asleep whom I had to awaken (I have videos and photos of this incident). Judging from the several gallons of urine collected in water bottles and other containers along with bags of trash, this man had been sleeping in my vehicle for several days while in the care of World Toyota Collision. This is totally unacceptable. I spoke with the collision center director, David Newsom, and he had the care detailed. This however is not an acceptable solution. We are not just dealing with spilled trash but BODILY FLUID. I have a two year old and an infant who is just on month old who would have to be transported in this vehicle. No amount of cleaning would remedy this situation. This issue is more than just the stench from the urine, garbage, and feces still lingering after being detailed, but a hazardous situation for which possible diseases /viruses may be present (HIV, hepatitis A, B ,C, Norovirus, coronavirus, etc). I also contacted the GM, Curtis Smith, whose solution was to pass me off to his sales manager in an attempt to sell me a new vehicle rather than to remedy the situation. I USED their services for regular maintenance of my Toyota Avalon for two years. I'm sure they've gotten me by upselling some stuff I didn't need, but I ain't complain because I figure that's part of the game . It was tonight's visit that made me reflect on these previous experiences I pull in after work at 615pm, after discovering that one of my headlights needed replacing during a light rain storm. **I'm aware that I am coming in close to closing time, but had a need and wanted to see what the service center could offer as I have used them over the years** The entrance to the service center garage was open with the green arrow directing which lane to drive reach a service associate. I see a service associate seated on a bench towards to the end of the lane. I was surprised that the closer I got to him that it did not prompt him to get up to attend to me. That's how I knew this visit was going to be a problem. I drove towards him for him to finally stand up and attend to me. He asks if I had an appointment and I said no. Then he says 'well, we're closed.' I say 'your garage is open with the arrow open.' He proceeds to tell me 'well, we're busy and won't be able to attend to you." I told how slow he was to attend to me, told me they were closed, and that they could not attend to me today (which may have been true) without asking me what I needed -_- or/and ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment for the following day(s). It was the laziness and poor demeanor that made me reflect on past service visits, of underperforming and pushing to upsell things I ain't need. Scammy service department. Before going in, I replaced the cabin air filter with a new one. I asked for $45 oil change and $25 inspection/ tire filling/ tire rotation. The inspection report arrived and the top item was recommending I pay them $50 to change the cabin air filter. I asked them to explain, since I knew I had already replaced it. They didn't have a photo, and they said they recommended it based on mileage, which doesn't make any sense for an air filter. That was red flag #1 - misrepresenting something that is so easily verifiable. The next morning I'm driving and the check tire pressure light turns on. I pull into a gas station and my tire is at 26 PSI (vs 32 PSI), even though I paid them to rotate and fill the tires. What else did they try to scam me on, and what will they scam you on? read more

TERRIBLE!! What a waste of time to come here. First we made a an appointment for 10AM. Making the appointment was easy but everything goes down here from here. We drop the car off and the person helping us says we should wait around 30 minutes so the service team can understand the issue. We wait then after 30... then asked to wait another 45 mins. After we waited for 2 hours... then the person say they finally look at the car. We couldn't wait any longer cause they said it would another 2 hours. Before telling them we were leaving, we walked into the parking lot and found just siting there in the parking lot, car on, keys in the car and it's unattended. Anyone could have driven off with our car during the 2 hours it was left sitting there. Terrible experience! They replaced my airbags due to a recall, but can't manage to send me the paperwork proving they did anything. I was told to leave before getting the paperwork because "it takes hours" and that it would be emailed to me. It's been almost a month and several phone calls, still nothing. What I did leave with was a long list of things wrong with my car that they wanted to fix, literally thousands of dollars. I declined, and took my car to a reputable mechanic in my neighborhood. The mechanic showed me that every single thing World Toyota said was a problem was actually fine. The belt they said was worn out looked brand new, for example. Parts they said were loose and leaking looked perfect. It was all lies. One other thing to know is that they do have a lovely place to wait while your car is being worked on, with a big TV and free coffee, etc. The person who made my appointment over the phone made me confirm a ride home before she would allow me be scheduled, because she said there was no place to wait. So my partner took off work to drive me up there. He did not need to do that, which was frustrating. read more

I've come here a few times now for an oil change as they have some of the most competitive prices in the area and I am occasionally in that area. They also offer a discount if you book certain times with their service department (usually the earlier times). The interior seating area is nice and they have wifi and water. There aren't as many desks as other dealerships, only seats like at an airport. They have always been ready for me on time and have never pressured me to do more. They send you a text and video of everything they advise and sugget and are upfront. You can then accept or decline on your phone so you don't ahve to face a real person and feel the pressure. Their services are done in a reasonable amount of time and you are on your way home! read more

A simple oil change has led to my daughter's car being towed. The oil leaked out as she was driving. She of course didn't notice anything the day of the service (yesterday - Saturday, March 1st). I noticed the HUGE oil puddle as she was already gone running errands. As I called to warn her, she was having the car towed back home. My salesperson unapologetically cheated me when I was trying to buy a 2025 Toyota Camry. He told me that the deposit was refundable and that he didn't care if I backed out of a deal since he was so confident the car was going to sell eventually. He also told me other dealerships would lie and say the deposit was non-refundable. I believed him and put down a $500 deposit for the car. I then looked around at other dealerships and found essentially the same car (same optional equipment and everything) for $1750 less. When I called to cancel my order at World Toyota, my salesperson was indignant. He told me that I was "taking advantage of his kindness," (verbatim) and a lot of other nasty things. Eventually, when I called back a second time, he said, "I'm not going to be nice anymore--the deposit's NON-refundable." I didn't know what to say. All I could do was to keep on asking for my refund. "No refund. Ok, bye bye," he said, cutting me off and hanging up the phone. After calling his manager and driving to the dealership in person, I finally got my refund. When I saw my salesperson, he gave me no apology. "It's not my car anymore," is all he said, and walked away. On my way out the door, I asked the manager, "So is the deposit refundable or non-refundable?" He told me it was non-refundable. The other dealerships told me truth; the salesperson at World Toyota was the one who lied to me and slandered the other dealerships to get my business. My refund was an exception due to the "miscommunication" that resulted from the sales team. There's so much more I could say about my experience here. It was horrendous. Maybe the rest of the sales team is fine. I don't know. All I know is that my specific salesperson lied to me, manipulated me, and held back my money. Maybe check out Marietta Toyota or Nalley Toyota Stonecrest if you're looking for a Toyota! I've had great experiences with them. At Marietta, ask for Sterling, and at Nalley, ask for Alysha! I still love the service center for the basics My car is now close to 3.5 years old and scheduling routine maintenance is easy and appointments are plentiful. I can typically get in the same day. Routine maintenance prices are competitive for things like oil changes, tire rotations, batteries, filters, etc. For major purchases like tires, engine work, etc. You'll save money going elsewhere. But I do appreciate having service Toyota look at my car and pointing out any issues. That's why I do the oil changes here. I would prefer the quick in and out drive thru oil changes but they don't always inspect your vehicle the way Toyota does. I appreciate the outdoor waiting areas. They have a covered outdoor area with fans for the summer and heat lamps for the winter. They also have outdoor picnic tables. Since my appointments are usually 60 - 90 minutes, I typically wait in the covered outdoor waiting area and bring my laptop to watch movies or do some work. The service advisors are friendly and honest (they'll show you your service history and explain the recommended service without over-selling). There is free coffee and filter water, clean bathrooms and soda and snacks to purchase from the vending machines. I've had all types of cars and have been to various types of service centers, garages, etc. For newer, low mileage cars, this Toyota Service Center meets my needs. read more

I came in today for a 10am appointment to have an oil change. The technician told me it would be 2 to 2.5 hours until my truck was ready. This is absurd so I left and will take my truck elseware. World Toyota emailed me an oil change coupon. When I scheduled the oil change with World Toyota, I informed them of the coupon they had sent me, and they said it would be honored. When I got to World Toyota, they informed me that the coupon was no good as my Toyota's Vin number did not match their coupon. I bought my Toyota new and it is the only Toyota I have ever owned. I took my car in for an oil change and brake service (clean rotors and replace pads). I was charged over $300 for that service. Though the dealership may cost a little more, I thought that I could rest assured that the work would be done correctly. WRONG! The next week, I checked my tires before heading out of town. A small voice said "check the oil." I'm thinking that it's unnecessary after having an oil change last week, but I've learned NOT to ignore that voice. Sure enough, I checked it and the dipstick had NO OIL on it!!! I pray that no damage was done to my engine. The tire shop put a small amount of oil in it to get me back home. I called World Toyota and told them what had happened. They stated that it may have a leak and advised me to bring it back in. Of course, they refused to send a tow truck or pay for the tow, but I had it towed in anyway. When they checked the oil, the small amount of oil that came out was very dark, even with the small amount of fresh oil that was added. Obviously, the oil was not changed. Realizing this, I had them check to see if the brake pads had been changed--they had not. I was charged over $300 for services NOT RENDERED. They refunded my money but offered nothing for the inconvenience or for almost blowing my engine! This was not the first bad encounter with a dealership. On another occasion, I had taken my car in for an oil change another dealership. It was returned to me with the brake lights on the dash and the dealership refused to fix it, stating that the part(s) was probably bad anyway! If you want to test drive a Toyota and you're already shopping on PIB then sure, go see what's available from Toyota at this location for the convenience but it's not even worth starting the conversation about purchasing at this store - go to one of the other Toyota stores in the ATL metro. I have shopped here 3 times - the most recent time I forgot why I wasn't going back. First, the inventory is all over the place so it's not easy to just walk up and see what's available new or used. If you want to see pricing on used cars, you have to scan a QR code. The salespeople I have interacted with lack almost all motivation. The worst is that they are overpriced. The used vehicles are way off the market, but they are quick to discount but they're just going to bring you to average market - you're not getting a deal. And then on the new vehicles, there's the low value/high margin adders in a package like nitrogen and protection mop and slop - all on top of MSRP. It's not fall of 2022 anymore, the market is back to normal now. Don't bother - there are SEVERAL better Toyota dealers in the market where you can get a better deal and/or a better purchase experience. read more

This is the first bad review I've ever left but I have to. Bought a 2017 Mazda Miata from them. The day we took it home the ac stopped working, I took it back to the dealership the replace the only ring. Worked for one day then stopped again they said they replaced my compressor, worked for one day and now is not working again. The compressor looks old I don't think anything was ever replaced be warned about this place. Found out that the trunk was leaking when I was about to buy the car and they assured me it was from the detail. The trunk is leaking now , I have no AC and this will be my third visit. "Eric Matson" the service advisor that helped me write up the oil change , was very knowledgeable and answered all of my concerns as well as advising me on what needed to be replaced after the inspection as well as telling me why it needs to be replaced and the formality of it all .
