Amazing service! These guys are so welcoming and great at what they do. You can tell they are watch lovers. They work closely with you to size your bracelet until you get a perfect fit. They provide free cappuccino and water as well. I specifically went to get an after-market jubilee bracelet attached for my Tudor BB58. I was not a fan of the original bracelet so I found a jubilee style one online that was designed to fit the BB58. I went to two other places before this one and neither could attach it. One shop (the one in Los Gatos) even told me that the bracelet is defective, suggesting that I bought a cheap non-original bracelet. But these guys got the bracelet on no problem! They didn't look down on me for buying a non-original bracelet. Don't go to any other watch repair place. This blows all other places out of the water! With their new location, you can see them working behind glass. So you can see what they are doing. They are not secretive like other watch places. It's really interesting to watch them work on watches. Also they share the same space with a nail spa. So while you wait you can get a mani/pedi if you'd like. The nail spa is also amazing. read more

Nice little shop with old men working on watches. They adjusted my bracelet for a reasonable price. Can't say anything for more complex repairs. read more

Son and his team are superb watchmakers. So far, I've had work done on my Omega SMPs: a bracelet adjustment completed quickly in one walk-in visit and a full service and bezel replacement on the other. The full service was quoted at a reasonable price and timeframe, and I received the call earlier than expected. Extremely satisfied customer that will return! read more

World Time - Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300M 2531.80.00 circa 1999 - Watch Repair Near Me - San Jose, California

My father-in-law passed recently, and I was lucky enough to receive his beloved Rolex he received from IBM as a retirement gift back in 1989. I discovered it did not work at all, as winding it manually did nothing. I called the local Rolex dealer, and they quoted me a cost of $900 with a turnaround of about three months. World Time quoted $700 with a slightly shorter turnaround of two months. Fast forward two months, and I received the watch in like-new condition! In addition to fixing the broken main spring, they polished the band and crystal. Through no fault of their own, the watch started running fast. I took it back and it was quickly diagnosed as having a faulty main spring. They fixed it under warranty and in turn gained a loyal customer. Thanks World Time! read more

Super helpful and very friendly! I would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks world time read more

Guess what?, Mr. Son N. sent me a note ( as though he didn't do anything ) pretending and saying "it never happened". No no dude, it did really happen and I even confronted you, but you were so rude to me and said "this is your crystal, this is your crystal on the watch" which is obviously a lie, I think you didn't know that I checked the crystal you installed with a 10x loupe and clearly it was a counterfeit crystal without an Omega logo (I know my genuine omega crystal which you stole has an Omega logo in its center which can be seen clearly with a 10x loupe ), yes, you were caught off-guard, luckily there is Yelp to expose these types of crooks. read more

Don't be fooled by the unassuming storefront and the attached hair salon. These guys know their business and provide expert service at a reasonable price. My father's old Omega watch wasn't working. I had taken it to another watch store, and they had replaced the battery but said it wasn't working even with a new battery. I was expecting a repair to cost hundreds of dollars. World Time replaced the battery, and the watch is working after all. They also recommended a new quick-release watch band, easily found on Amazon. read more

Changed the battery on my Bulova for $15. Person was polite! However, takes awhile until someone picks up the phone and there wasn't anyone waiting there at the front so I had to call them. It's in a small shop co-insided with a nail salon. Hard to find where it was. read more

Have been a customer at World Time for 15 years and three locations. Their service is beyond excellent. I have watches from TAG-Heuer, Omologato and Torgoen and all have been serviced by the technicians here in a timely and efficient way. They are friendly and helpful and made me laugh last time when I took in a new TAG-Heuer automatic watch with a unique design. Everyone in the work area was crowded around and looking at my watch. I asked if there was something wrong? "no" they replied "we never saw a watch like that before" big smiles all around A great place...... read more

Watch repaired here recently and I'm a very happy first-time customer! Always nice to find good, unpretentious people in the world of watches. Clasp was not functional on one side of two trigger system. Bretlin diagnosed the issue in less than ten minutes and clearly explained the next steps. I left my watch there overnight--having visited in the evening (awesome hours by the way) and I was told to expect a call around noon the next day. That call arrived on schedule. This job required a new part, and I appreciate the care taken when replacing with a new stock part. When i asked, they explained what went wrong in the clasp and gave me the faulty part. My watch comes back to me looking even better than before. I have a feeling they may have done some superficial cleaning complimentary From these quicker jobs to movement overhauls of the finest Swiss watches, these guys are very capable for all work and a genuine pleasure to do business with. Cool to see the technicians at work while enjoying a coffee. Many thanks World Time! Don't hesitate to take your watch needs to the team here and support this family owned and operated local business. read more

What a find!!! Another watch store wanted $75 to fix my ancient Bugs Bunny watch. Good thing they didn't have the parts. I went to World Time and the lovely owner repaired my watch in a few minutes for $15. Everything in his work space is immaculate. The shop is a bit tricky to find. It's back off Stevens Creek and shares space with a nail shop. It's well worth it. Highly recommended.hjoi read more

Called ahead of time, very polite phone call and they told me no problem...come on over. Location has good off street parking, is a watch repair/nail salon, with AC, beverages (bottled water & coffee machine, and candy. Interior was very clean. Replaced three batteries for $45 dollars total. Took maybe 20 minutes. Brought three different types of watches of three different ages. One of the watches was "not replaceable" at a shop I tried in SF. My grandfathers watch from 1971. Will definitely go here again. Even gave me insight into my older watch I didn't know about. read more

I brought in my Rolex for a full service. It takes a few weeks but I did not mind on the wait because of the excellent service I know I will receive. Just picked up my Rolex and I am 10000% happy with it! Throughout the process Son texted me pictures to show that he is working on taking my watch apart to service it. What watch store in the Bay Area do you know that would do that? That is what I call a legit business. Will come back for future services. read more

Great service. They have been keeping my omega cleaned and running for 10+ years. Like the new location.

I have been going to them for the past 10 years and have been following them to their 3rd and permanent location. This one is their own property and beautiful with ample parking and with nail salon tandem. Extremely clean and with rest room plus free coffee or tea! Wow! read more

I had an Oris Aquis serviced here, and they did a bang up job on both the mechanical work as well as the polish on the watch. I gotta ding them a star because they gave me a quote on the phone and straight up raised it $50 when I got there, and also they're not great with calling you when your watch is finished, as some reviews have echoed. But they do decent work and if I'm local to the SF Bay I'll probably use them again, but make sure they stick to the original quoted price next time. I do wanna add though that some of these low star reviews for battery changes and pricing...some hoe games right there. Really, a battery change and some commentary between the watchmakers and you're gonna go with the one star even though the work got done? This is why we can't have nice things. read more

Service took a very long time and expensive. More importantly, they are not honest and can over charge 100%, watch out! read more

I've had Son (owner) service my watches for over 20 years. Mostly Rolexes (Subs, GMT's, Daytonas, etc.) but other makes as well. He is an absolute master. He's also incredibly nice, 100% trustworthy and his prices are more than fair. When I buy watches, I ALWAYS meet my seller at WT and have Son do authentication. I cannot recommend WT enough. It's the very best watchmaker in the Bay Area. read more

My best friend and I went to World Time to have his Omega Seamaster Professional adjusted to fit his wrist. Excellent service and took roughly 5 minutes before it was adjusted perfectly. Priced accordingly as well. I then went there to have them service an Omega Seamaster Professional that has been kept in a drawer for over 10 years. It was fixed, polished, and had its battery replaced. It now looks in excellent condition. It took a little over two months to pick up my watch but it was worth the wait. This is now part of my watch collection to wear and enjoy. Next stop, a Rolex Submariner Date! Highly recommend this place! read more

Glad to have found this watch service business. I have four watches that I haven't used in years but needed new batteries, and they serviced all of them while I waited. Their location has all the technical equipment needed on site, and there were several service people including the owner Son working behind a big clear window, all visible. My watches were top brands that they service. When I called for a quote, I then came in and they charged exactly as quoted. I would trust them for any future watch repairs that I need. Easy to get to with designated parking. Great experience! read more

Son expertly serviced a really beat up Omega Speedmaster MK40 that I bought off eBay. Lead time was two months; Son said they were really busy. The service, polish, and new crystal (the AR coating was coming off on the original) was $875. The level of finishing on the lugs where sharp edges were maintained between the satin and polished sides was top notch. I am really happy with the work done and will be bringing my other watches here in the future. read more

I needed to get a battery change for my mom's Movado watch. I usually go to a place on Blossom Hill to get my own watch batteries changed but they recently raised the battery prices and I think it's too expensive now to pay that much just for a battery that lasts less than a year long. I called and got a price quote and felt that they were reasonably priced. The gentleman I spoke with also said they give a two year battery warranty so that gave me all the more reason to come here. As soon as I came into the shop, the gentleman I spoke with over the phone said it would take 15 minutes to change the watch battery. The shop itself was very clean, pleasant smelling, and very well lit. I waited for less than 15 minutes and was told the battery change was all done. I was super pleased by the customer service and the service I paid for. You're definitely going to see me back at this shop for all my future watch needs! read more
