Brought a ~ 35 year old wristwatch in for glass dial replacement. Very quick turn around - 3 days max - it was done. Nice Shop, nice guy, great service. And he cleaned the watch and bracelet - which had a lot of debris between links - and needed it! Looks great. Thank You.

25 year old Calvin Klein watch runs good as new after repair!

I came in here in June looking to get my Calvin Klien watch fixed. I originally had taken it to a different shop to get the battery replaced & I noticed I could hear the ticking, but the second hand was in a stuck position. I was told I had to take it to a professional, so I ended up here at Tick Tock. The watch is 25 years old & I've stopped wearing it for over 10 years. The thing I appreciated about Jason is that he was very direct in how much it would cost & how long it would take & the reason for it. He gave me an estimate & I made the choice to have him repair it. Happy to say the watch runs good as new! Even though the repair was almost the same as the cost that I had originally bought it for, the watch holds alot of sentimental value (my 1st watch when I got my 1st job that paid me well). If I ever need any battery replacements / repairs, this will be the place I will continue to do business with. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Jason, extremely knowledgeable, friendly small business. I came in with this Rolex which I thought was magnetized during shipping, it wasn't, Jason popped it open and found the multiple issues that he proceeded to fix. I won't get into the details but he did a great job, he even polished a couple scratches out. I will be bringing it back for a service in 6-12 months. With all that being said, 10/10 I will be bringing my watches here from now on for any repairs or services. Thanks Jason!

Hello, Can anyone tell me who works on Mechanical Clocks in the Santa Cruz area? Oh and doesn't charge ridiculous $ please 😳

Other watch places quoted me $35-$48 bucks to change the battery, so I was shocked when Fred gave me a quote on Yelp for $12 bucks! I went to the store without an appointment, Fred welcomed me warmly, and even though 2 other customers came in, I was in and out of there in under 8 minutes! (He was able to help them too.) Aside from the great price and friendly attitude, Fred also noticed that there was some rust in the mechanism restricting the movement and he cleaned it out and added lubricant without even charging me. Really glad my old watch is working good as new again and am thankful Fred made my experience as smooth as possible. Thank you, Fred!!

I came back an hour later to pick up my watch and voila the watch was adjusted to be more accurate. Great! However, it was clear that in opening the case back, his tool slipped and caused deep scratching in the case back. When it was brought back to him, fred says when a case back is opened, some damage should be expected! I certainly did not expect damage. After insisting, he polished off the back but the scratches were too deep. Fred then says the deeper scratches weren't caused by him. Now you can trust me or not that fred caused the damage. But Id heavily suggest taking a picture of your stuff prior to work. Because if something happens, he certainly wont do anything about it. And I no longer think he's honest. He should remember his tool slipping and been upfront. Also they have case back opening tools that don't damage the watch. Id suggest fred look into buying that

We appreciated the help we received from Elena and Darya who were kind and pleasant to work with. However, our interaction with Fanya was off putting and left us feeling uncomfortable. During our visit, she spoke very confidently about the history of mining diamonds in a way that did not align with well-documented historical information we are privy to. The conversation felt dismissive of a serious subject and it made it difficult for us to feel confident moving forward with such an important purchase. When choosing a jeweler for something as meaningful as an engagement ring, trust and transparency matter a lot. While we respect that others may have different experiences, this interaction ultimately led us to continue our search elsewhere. Especially after noticing many of their negative reviews revolved around the owners daughter, this was concerning to us. We wish the business the best, but wanted to share our honest experience for others who are doing the same research we were.

The store was somewhat busy on a Sunday morning, as there were other groups shopping and getting help from the staff. There seems to be a good variety in terms of lehengas. They had a lot of mix and match outfits. You pick out colors and they'll bring out options they think will make for a cohesive outfit (top, skirt, and scarf). I think this is good if you have a pretty specific vision for colors and styles, but we were just starting our search and would have liked a bit more guidance on styling and pricing. I think part of that was that it was like two staff members helping at least 2 other groups. Service was otherwise nice, and they did answer our questions when we had some. They also did not pressure us to buy anything, which we've experienced at other Indian clothing stores. The pricing for a lehenga set that includes top, skirt, and scarf is probably in the ~$150+ range, as you would be mixing and matching. I think in retrospect, after shopping at other stores, although mixing and matching can be nice, I personally preferred already matched sets since they seem more cohesive. We were also looking for kurtas and sherwanis. The staff kind of just showed us where they were located in the store. I remembered seeing prices approximately $300-$500 range for sherwanis. The nice part was that they gave us a sense for sizing, so that was helpful. It seems they have a lot of other outfits, jewelry, shoes, celebration items that we didn't look too much into. After shopping at a few other stores, I am actually not sure if they offer tailoring here, since they tended to pick out lehenga tops for my specific size, and not necessarily other sizes with styles. Might be worth asking if they do have tailoring. I am also not sure if a factor is that it would narrow the styles I would try on. I can imagine that it would be labor intensive and time consuming to take out a bunch of different sizes and styles, and then having to put them back. I didn't realize how intensive the process of buying/selling lehengas was before shopping here! The store is somewhat organized and it does have two fitting rooms for you to use. I can see how it can be hard to try things on if the store gets busier. The downside of trying things on here is that lighting isn't the best. Overall, I think this was a nice store to shop for Indian clothing!
