That first Rolex made me truly appreciate the craftsmanship, beauty, and confidence that comes with wearing one, so I decided to start building a relationship with this boutique. From my very first visit, Jose was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Even though I hadn't purchased anything from this location yet, he made me feel like a valued customer. I shared that I was interested in eventually adding a Submariner and a few GMTs to my collection. Over the following months, I stopped by whenever my wife and I were at the mall. During those visits, I got to know Everette, Yvette, Hayden, Jakob, and several others. Every single team member was equally kind, informative, patient, and professional. I never once felt judged or pressured. They always took the time to let me try on pieces, educate me about Rolex, and reassure me that patience is part of the journey. Today, I visited again and was greeted by Roksana. She checked on the watches I was waiting for and asked whether we were celebrating anything special. I mentioned that my wife and I were commemorating a work milestone, and she said, "Let me go check in the back." My heart immediately skipped a beat. A few minutes later, she returned with a Rolex Submariner Date. My wife and I were beyond excited and purchased it on the spot. Thank you again, Roksana! This was honestly one of the best luxury retail experiences I've ever had. I really appreciate that this boutique focuses solely on Rolex, so there's never pressure to purchase other brands or unwanted pieces just to build a relationship. Just as importantly, every member of the staff is genuinely kind and welcoming, and that made every visit enjoyable regardless of whether I was buying anything. Other watch places quoted me $35-$48 bucks to change the battery, so I was shocked when Fred gave me a quote on Yelp for $12 bucks! I went to the store without an appointment, Fred welcomed me warmly, and even though 2 other customers came in, I was in and out of there in under 8 minutes! (He was able to help them too.) Aside from the great price and friendly attitude, Fred also noticed that there was some rust in the mechanism restricting the movement and he cleaned it out and added lubricant without even charging me. I also checked the Palo Alto location reviews and... yikes ‍ A friend recommended Ali's Jewelry & Repair, so I stopped by. Ali resized my bracelet perfectly in about 30 minutes for $55! VCA offers complimentary resizing, but you have to mail it in and wait at least 3 weeks. For me, $55 was well worth it to save the time, shipping, driving to SF, appointment, and waiting. I'm also not too concerned about the VCA warranty for a simple adjustment--Ali offers a much more convenient and affordable local repair option. What I really like is that Ali is a small-business owner who takes pride in his work. If you're concerned about bringing in an expensive or sentimental piece, you can call and make an appointment, and Ali can repair it on-site while you watch. That gave me a lot of peace of mind. While I waited, several customers came in with questions about jewelry and materials. Ali was so patient and helpful with everyone, even when they weren't there to buy anything. That really impressed me. I came in with one bracelet to resize and ended up leaving with a perfectly sized bracelet plus a beautiful new flower bracelet--for only about $300 total! I'm extremely happy. Great service, fair pricing, fast turnaround, and quality work. And honestly, $55 these days is basically a couple of boba teas or two bowls of noodles! Highly recommend Ali's Jewelry & Repair--especially if you want personal service from a small-business owner and the convenience of having your jewelry repaired right in front of you.

I do not wear it around water or fragrances, so for a Swatch band, the quality is extremely disappointing. I went into the Westfield Swatch store hoping they could help. The employee told me the band was not covered under warranty and that I should call customer service. I came back the next day to speak with the manager, hoping he might be more helpful. Instead, he repeatedly told me that the band is not under warranty and just the watch itself is and that he could not do anything. He even told me he has customers who have been wearing these watches for 10 years. When I pointed out that the MoonSwatch has not even been around for 10 years, he simply repeated the warranty statement instead of addressing what I was actually saying. I was not even asking for a free replacement. I was willing to buy another $48 band because I did not want to throw away the watch. I simply asked if he agreed that a band peeling apart after only a few months was unacceptable. His response was dismissive and disrespectful. The band quality is disappointing, but the way the manager handled the situation was even worse. A little understanding or basic customer service would have gone a long way. Very disappointing experience with Swatch. I added some photos of how the watch looks like. Literally 2-3months. Don't buy this watch from Swatch!!! And shame on the employees at that store. Do better.
