World Market is a clean and organized store with friendly customer service. I enjoy looking at the seasonal merchandise available and they tend to have a sale. They also have clearance sections throughout the store that I recommend checking out, you never know what you'll find. The home decor and snacks aisles continue to be my favorite areas to explore. I was able to find some cute earrings and dark chocolate toblerone. I look forward to my next visit at World Market. read more

Great place to go to for those who either love international foods and international delicacies.This store always tries to have a customer friendly layout of their products to meet the season's. We generally browse and pickup some coffee beans, teas and sweets. Seems their coffee selection has gotten smaller I like that you can grind your beans while there if needed. No words for the amazing customer service and care that I received. I went in to do a happy return and everyone was just so nice. There was an issue with my return as it was not working in their system, but Ali was just so sweet and patient about it. She ended up calling headquarters and was able to fix it manually, but it took sometime. She was patient, calm, and so kind. I definitely would come back to this location just because of the service. On top of that the selection of items, especially those on sale, was phenomenal. Well I just wanted to post a review about my new bottle-opener ring! I was in before Christmas, and saw this gadget. 2 to a package and at $5, it seemed like a fun gift for my brother. Flash forward and were opening gifts. He loves it and give me one (I was hoping he would do that). Now we have matching rings and they came in handy for all that beer drinking that we did. A couple other friends thought they were cool, so when I got back to TX I went an bought two more. I'll be sending them off soon. Anytime that I enter this store, I get even more and more amazed at the product selections that are offered. Located next door to PetSmart in a plaza off of Denton Hwy 377, World Market has a massive selection of craft beers, wine and champagne that are reasonably priced. In addition, there is also quite a bit of accessories that are situated all over the store. I also recently discovered that World Market offers wine tasting on most Saturdays from 1-4. The tasting table (in addition to ginger beers, coffee and snacks) are located within the back left hand corner of the store. You'll also be offered a passport at no cost to partake within the wine tasting event. Well worth the time. Customer service is good, yet most of the employees are situated within the front of the store. There are a couple that tend to float around the store to assist customers. Overall, one store that you can easily spend up to one hour in and not notice due to the high quantity volume of alcohol selection. read more

I'll be completely honest, I only go to World Market about once a month to stock up on the goodies they sell in the little grocery section in the back. I have a soft spot for pizzelles (delicate little Italian waffle cookies) and sugar free torani coffee syrups and they have an excellent selection of both. Most recently I bought a bag of truly horrible Dutch salted licorice because I'd been curious about it (it's growing on me though!), there's a huge variety of international candies and sometimes it's fun to pick up something new :) World Market has all sorts of furniture, housewares, wines and beers. Lots of color and texture to be found here! I've never seen anyone actually buying furniture here and it seems they're always advertising a huge sale on furniture items so I have to wonder if it's just not priced well or something. World Market is my favorite store, pretty much, ever. They have a really decent selection of craft beers, and they even have craft beer pint glasses for really decent prices. They've got adorable things you can decorate your house with, most of it is bohemian-chic and amazing. I have several throw pillows from here. They're all fantastic. They've also got one of the best.things.ever... Vosges Dark Bacon Chocolate bar. I haven't had much luck finding it many other places, other than the Vosges store in the Caesar's palace mall, but they always have it waiting here for me whenever I just can't take the craving! The employees are always friendly and helpful, and you can almost always find really good deals on things if you wait for the sales. I recently got a beach umbrella that I turned into a patio umbrella for only $10!!! Most patio umbrellas cost a ton. read more

Wanted to purchase an item in the $300-400 range and asked a representative to check on the stock. The verbage that I used was "purchase." Key word boys and gals. This girl kept me waiting almost 10 minutes! I went to the front of the store and instead purchased some novelty item. She showed up right when I was about to swipe my card. Her excuse, "I had to help 3 people before I could make it back." So let me ask you did you make more money off those three people? Does your manager know you lost a $400 dollar sale with that go-getter attitude? Learn how to prioritize. If I was a manager here, I'd prioritize some better employees. read more

I love this chain and always find awesome things for super cheap! However they also have some overpriced stuff so you have to look around. I typically have good finds with jewelry and small gifts. Over Christmas season I was able to get a lot of great stocking stuffers for not a lot of money. Score! read more

There was plenty of staff on duty- two of which I saw at another register. What is that all about? Since when is sticking more important than ringing up customers to make profit? I went here with a hipster, AKA "Hippie/Tree Hugger", and I was impressed:-) A lot of contemporary furnishings to bring life into an Apt., Townhouse or House. Customer Service was friendly and helpful. Most employees educated me on decors to bring back "life" into a person's dwelling. The way I see it, it's always good for change and it's good to change constantly in a person's home decor. I love this World Market! I love to cook so I always hit the kitchen section here to find out what they have on clearance or on sale. I got a really nice set of large stacking mugs & some large stacking bowls that really helped make space in my cabinets a couple years ago that I adore using. Plenty of unique cookware & a good selection of tableware & glassware too. What I typically go in here for though is to cruise their spice section & to get root beer, gourmet sodas. So far it's the only place in the Keller area that I have found Bundaberg root beer, which I looovee! It's a great place for stocking suffers & unique gifts around the holidays as well. read more

Everyone that goes in there can find items that they need or want. That's not this stores problem. The problem is customer service. Now if you don't mind going in there to get something and don't mind the poor attitudes the cashiers have then this is your place. But just be assured that if you do call and let them know that they really don't care. They will tell you that they will have the GM call but they never do. Wow terrible service from the General manager of the store. I believe his name was Don. I was trying to make a return for an item I had purchased the week before. The cashier was having some trouble so she called him up. He finally arrived to the front after about 4 minutes saying the store was "so busy" when I knew there were only about 3 other customers besides me. He seemed unable to complete the simplest of tasks at the register and had to call for additional help. A general manager of a store should know how to do basic register functions let alone anything else in the store but Don seemed to need his hand held for everything that was asked of him. I felt bad for the cashier who looked embarrassed by her general manager. Don needs to be trained on store functions, demoted or fired if he wants to keep this store open .... read more

I always enjoy coming and getting cool stuff from world market. They have done of the neatest items. We suck in this time fur since patio lights. Which were on sale 20% off. That brought the $40 to $32. Pretty good deal I thought. While we were there got since design inspiration for my house, inside and out. Also checked out the nice wine selection, there used to be a sangria that we were in love with here, but alas is a seasonal wine. No luck there. I love the appearance of a lot of the kitchen stuff but don't necessarily recommend and cooking pans. I bought one, a stainless steel wok, and it rusted in less than a week, probably could have taken it back, they do have good customer service, but I didn't think to keep the receipt, so I sent it to the metal recycle bin. And it wasn't a little rusty, it was unusable, covered. I don't know why though, I really haven't had any issues out of anything else. They have fantastic patio rugs, made from recycled plastic, they start in the teens on dollars, that's amazing in itself. Weird of advice though, remove then if your dig is a chewer, mine are my rug.... It was so pretty. My wife was irate, almost lost a dog. So to Sum up my experience, great prices and deals on original items that give your house an international vibe, like you shop at markets around the world, and friendly staff. Even with the bad pan, I still give them five stars. read more
