I love the world market boho vibe. Even though things are a bit more pricier here in terms of home goods than other places, I'm also able to find unique pieces that I can't find anywhere else. Some of their items aren't the best quality, for example I bought a set of rose gold measuring cups and measuring spoons and the "rose gold" started to peel off after a few washes showing the gray steel underneath. But that's not to say all their items are like that. Aside from their home goods, I peruse their grocery & clearance section frequently; you can find some treasures in you look hard enough! I love their grocery section bc it's so unique and I can find certain grocery items here for much cheaper than if I went to a regular grocery store like H‑E‑B. Strangely specific tip - but you are not allowed to pay with a "digital debit card" (for example if you were gifted a digital visa/Mastercard) if there is no where to scan. read more

My wife and I were just checking out the Black Friday sales to see what kind of deals we could score in the store. We were completely surprised at the amount of inventory available and that everything was fairly priced as well. Many cute housing products are sold here! If you are looking for nice decorations for your house, I believe this place is a nice pick for it! Surprisingly, there are some Asian items sold in the store (of course food items though) but that's great! Keep up the good work! read more

Kinda upset because my mother and I showed up for the nutcracker hunt at 3:50, we searched until 5:50 pm when the purple haired employee had the final nutcracker and gave it to a young teenager who had just entered the building. 2 hours and she hands it to what I assume is a family member big bummer, we do this every year and have never seen this before. read more

2.5 This store was crazy hopping when I went here with a friend. Things were pretty torn up. I was constantly being bumped into and people getting annoyed with me looking at the items for sale. Most of my visits to world market is before holiday/Christmas season, they keep nice gift sets, especially chocolates. Other than that there are some unique options or stuff that you don't get in other stores, like there miniature sets, today bought coffee flavoring syrups, it's very useful, especially if you're trying out for first time, rather than buying a regular sized ones and getting wasted if you don't like. read more

They currently have an a of Sanrio stuff from keychains to notepads to wine! This is an under-rated place to get gifts for people and pets and home stuff too. They carry furniture, décor, cookware, cards, food, rugs, etc. I picked up some clearance washable placemats to use in my refrig. My Latest trip involved dark chocolate Lindt bars. I normally purchase them for $2.68 per bar. They were on sale for $2. per bar, rest assured I stocked up way more than I should. Sometimes they have great deal and others, they are a bit pricy. This is such a wonderful store to stroll through. We browsed at chocolate, cookies, cakes, minced pies, chips, coffee, and tea. I picked out several fancy- looking chocolate bars that I can't wait to try. There were some chocolate- covered gingerbread German cookies I just might have to go back for since I was on the fence. This is a store that carries everything from handcrafts to food to furniture from various international locations, and it's a blast to just wander through. This is a fine outlet of Cost Plus, with a particularly good selection of both furniture and European candy. (Be sure to try the Aussie-style licorice or the Sweedish/German gummies.) It's light, bright, and well-ordered considering that a lot of CP's stock seems pretty random. The only cautionary note is that their cashier area is chronically understaffed. Go during the off hours or you might find yourself standing in a four-person line that takes 20 minutes to get through! read more

I'm addicted to shortbread gingerbread cookies. It's one of the many treats I look forward to over indulging in during the holiday season. As soon as Halloween is over, I visit World Market to buy cookies and an ornament. What I like about this store is it stocks unique food items, wines, furniture, decor, clothing, etc. It's fun to browse the store and sample the coffee that's located on a table mid way through the store. Regardless of one's personal taste and style, there is something in the store to satisfy it. As much as I like the store, many of the items are overpriced, especially considering their mediocre quality. You can find some of the items for lower prices at other stores or via the Internet. I guess this is true for many retail stores. Oh, well. I'll be back to buy more cookies in a few weeks and hope my treadmill doesn't break down. read more

I called this store right before closing to see if they had a specific lamp. The other World Market had one but the store manager would not let me purchase the last one on display. Instead insisting I order it on my own online. However this Store's phone was answered by its manager. He was able to look up the lamp and see they had their final one (on display) in stock. He invited me to come by and he would leave it at the front for me to purchase. When I made sure it would be okay to purchase the display one, he assured me they are redoing the lighting next week so he needed to clear out the section anyways. He and the other cashiers were so friendly and helpful and made my experience great, even though they were a few minutes to close. Highly recommend this store. I ended up buying all the items I planned to buy at the other store here instead. And I didn't have to wait for the lamp! read more

Erica the manager is AH-Mazing. I came in needing help with many things and she assisted me and was helping others at the same time. She helped me with my lamps, and my rug and even told me about the designer discount card which I had no idea that even existed. Aaliyah was also amazing too. She helped me in picking out my rug and looking for a tree that was on the very top shelf. Everyone here is kind and genuinely cares about helping. The energy is great and the store is so clean and organized you can find everything you need in a timely manner. All in all 5 stars. If you plan on shopping at this World Market be prepared to get followed around by a sales associate. My sister and I went there on Sunday 9-19-21 at around 2:30pm. We were looking at this, that and the other. The blonde sales associate was pretending to be looking and stocking one item and looks around. They have a wide variety of items and it's fun to walk around and see things you never knew you may need. They have things to eat and things to wear, and things to put on your walls on in your cabinets and drawers. Some of the stuff is kinda random, but it's what helps make the store cool. I'm always drawn to the candy selections from other countries. The store is new and clean and the staff asked if we needed any assistance, which is always nice. Let me first say that I LOVE World market. However this location needs some major work on their customer service. I went in this past week to purchase an entertainment center because they were having a fabulous 40% off sale. After waiting for about 20 minutes for the sales girl to come back and let me know if they had one in stock, she comes back with a "no they do not have one in stock". I asked her if she had called the other locations and she said yes. I even double checked that she had called the one off of 183 and she said yes and they did not have one in stock either. I sadly left to mope about not being able to purchase my dream entertainment center. When I got home, just to triple check, I personally called the location off 183 and much to my delight, they did have one in stock and were willing to hold if for me. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service at the Cedar Park location and definitely won't be taking my business there again. read more

I was in the Cedar Park, TX location yesterday. It was awful, just plain awful trying to make a purchase. And it's not the first time, but this was bad enough to write about. 1. There used to be baskets in the back of the store to grab food items. There were not so I had to carry glass and a bunch of units of food. 2. When I approached the register, there were 3 people behind one register and nobody offered to grab my items to put them down. 3. When it was my turn to check out since there were 3 people behind one register, they all dispersed and left one to cashier and then decided to open another register for the person behind me. 4. When my items were rung up, the sale price did not take on the Shultz Brownie Pretzels. I asked the cashier how much it rang up for and he could not tell me. Instead he was quick to jump to the total and say, "does the total look right?" Obviously not if I am telling you I want to know how much something rang up for. Wow!! Seriously this guy is a cashier? The cashier called over someone who was not the manager who had blond and purple hair. She went to look and came back to say the "sale ended yesterday." My response was "well, are you going to honor that price?" She called a manager "Sara" over. 5. Sara said she changed the price, and I asked "what did you change it to?" Her response was "the price on the sign" and I said "what was that?" She couldn't even tell me so I went to look at the shelves again, because I also said "either I can go look or I can leave, what do you prefer? Do you even want my business?" 6. On my way back, Sara was in the middle of the store and said she already changed it. She never offered to go look at it with me, nor offered to verify it for me to see it on the screen or on paper. Never in my life has a "manager" been so evasive and not customer friendly to accompany or help the customer to show the change. 7. So I got back to the register and Sara was not there as mentioned so I asked what the price was it rang up for and the cashier who was so clueless on how to operate the register had to call the girl back over with the blond and purple hair to print a receipt to show the change. He kept saying the total is still the same. They had to call Sara back over to add up the items on the receipt. 8, When I paid for my items, the guy that is the cashier bagged it and never said a word. No Thank You, No We Appreciate Your Business, nothing, nothing at all. I'd like to know how this poor experience is going to be resolved. read more

So I recently had a bad experience at this world market and had decided to stop going there. I decided to give it another try because it is so close to home and I had probably the best customer experience I've ever had in any retail situation! A really sweet girl named Emily helped me when I couldn't find what i was looking for. Then I asked out of curiosity if they still carry a certain item and she was so knowledgeable and so helpful in finding the item. This was great because It was something i thought world market didn't sell anymore but was very delighted to find out they still did seeing as I have been looking for it for months. Runaway from this store, at least for big items. Here is what I sent to their customer service: Bought 2 Adirondack chairs on March 14 and till date did not receive any information about when I can pick it up in store. So yesterday I saw that there is a 20 percent off on them on your website and I called the store to check availability. This is the cedar Park store on 183. They said they have plenty of inventory, so I told them to keep 2 ready at the door and I will pick it up in 15 mins. Go there and they said they need a scannable coupon. On your website on the coupon it says click here for details but that didn't work. Finally after 15 mins realized it's an online only coupon. And all this is done only by me. The store employees are least interested in helping out. Then I said I can buy it right away online and then can I take the 2 chairs that's in front of me, home? They said I can't. I have to go back home and wait till I get an email from them. So I go back home and your website said if I place the order by 5pm then I can pick up the same day. I placed the order at like noon. Till 6 pm there is nothing. Then I called customer service to ask the status of my order. They said their order tracking system is down and I need to call the store for help. Called the store and they said the payment is blocked and I need to call customer service to fix it. Called customer service and they said they can't change payment and they can only cancel this order and place a new one. They said the store can fix the payment. Called the store and they said they can't change the payment. I gave up and told the store to just cancel all my orders. Even that they can't do. Do you think this is acceptable? The merchandise is in front of my eyes. Your store has plenty of inventory. And you don't want me to buy it! This is the second time the employees at this store have no iota of customer service. Previously I went to buy a daybed and nobody was interested in measuring the size of the box. They just said it's 6 foot by 4 foot even after repeatedly asking them to tell me the lxbxh. I again just walked out and called another store in round Rock to tell me the dimensions of the box. They were so nice and appropriate. This store has no inkling of service. Misleading clearance signs and merchandise placement. Thinking we were getting some great deals to only learn half of our items were not actually on clearance. Staff needs to do a better job of matching truly clearance items on the shelves with the appropriate signs. What a waste of time! The clerk could careless.
