This place is terrible but don't tell anyone I said so. When it comes to shipping items by aircraft, you have many different options. You can use the ever popular FedEx or UPS. You can send things directly at any airline like Delta or Alaska or you can use one of these brokers like World Flight Services (WFS) who handle the logistics for multiple airlines that can't or don't handle freight for themselves. In this case, WFS handles mostly overseas and international shipping. Make sure you have all of your T's crossed and I's dotted when you submit your paperwork. Fill out your airway bill, have your declarations page along with any appropriate labels otherwise you'll be rejected. This establishment is sorely understaffed for the amount of traffic they try to accomodate and none of the employees seem at all happy with their jobs. The wait times for help here are atrocious and once you're finally done in the office, they make you wait forever at your door or in the warehouse for the overworked forklift operators to get or give you your freight. As is the case with Swissport, don't show any frustration. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT let your temper get the best of you. Remain calm and collected and show the employees more respect than they even deserve because once they sniff out that you are in a hurry or that you are somehow not astonished by they help that they are providing to you, they will make your day a living hell. You thought you were running late before? Just wait and see how late they can make you. You have a deadline to make? Better call your client and let them know you're not going to make it! I don't personally understand how this company can represent so many airlines and none of them hold WFS to any kind of quality standards. You're freight might get there or it might not. Guess we'll get in line and wait and see. read more
