But the people and the vibe that used to make Roundtop a special place for families is nowhere to be seen. A special note to anyone from Vail, who happens to read this. There is is a family of five skiers that grew up at Roundtop because I brought them there. The mothers were able to ski during the week with the babies and toddlers. There was daycare for the babies and toddlers. There were plugs for the crockpot for the lunches downstairs. It's all gone. The only thing left is the purchase price and share value of the corporation. Where do you expect the next generation of skiers to come from?

It wasn't too promising that they would have what we needed, but low and behold they had everything we needed to get our bikes back on the road. Karen and Kevin siblings (our guardian angels on earth) that were raised in the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
