I booked to come in here, but had to cancel the first time last minute, which was no problem with them at all. Second time I came in and although I'm not good at describing what I need exactly, James figured it out and did a great job. Very precise and careful with his cutting, and I left very happy with the cut and vibe of the place. I was a bit zonked out from working overnights recently, but I noticed a small bar and coffee machine and good music playing. I'd def return, and probably on a weekend too so could chill more and have a drink while at it. :)

Atmosphere: The salon itself is not large. However, it still gets the job done, is clean, and a relatively cute place with great employees. Customer Service: From the phone to the salon, the customer service is fantastic! Firstly, they were very accommodating with the schedule over the phone and try their best to work around your hours. When I arrived for my appointment, I was serviced by a woman named Katie and since it was my first time waxing, I wasn't sure about what to expect. I thought it would be awkward since she can see my private bits, but there was actually nothing to be afraid of! Katie was explaining the process as she went along, made me feel comfortable, and made casual conversation so there was no awkward silence. The only reason why this salon gets one star off is because the waxing job wasn't that clean - there was still a bit of self-plucking to be done later. However, come here for the great service and awesome rates. If you have the money to spend though and don't care whether or not the customer service is great, you should try someplace else.

It is also open late on weeknights, close to the city and with free parking out the front. The service here here has always been great and friendly from my experience waiting for her and she always comes out scrubbed up pretty well. Definite winner.

I know it would be cliche to compliment Fratelle on how welcoming they are or their great customer service because, let's face it, these are the core components of any hair salon. However I have been to places where the person who looked after me was (excuse me for me direct) rubbish and it was as if they were being friendly because it is part of their job specs. Somehow I don't feel like this at Fratelle - you don't get the fake smile and the staff are really good + you get a complimentary drink as well!

I had to conform that i had called the right number, booked the appointment no problems. When i arrived for my appointment loud music was playing on the TV the lights were off and i was asked to sit down, no explaniation of "so and so will be with you soon" or and offer of a cup of tea or coffee, which i was so looking forward to. The vibe felt off and i actually thought about leaving then and there. The girl who cut my hair seemed extreamly inexperienced, i had to ask her to cut more off my hair a few times. its still too long, i asked her to give it a slight wave when styling she curled it. I felt like my requests werent listened too, at the end she talked at me for a good 20 mins about her old work places and how awful her boss was, and he ex boyfriend which i found pretty poor form. I called to make an appointment to see if i could get the cut fixed, the person who answered the phone again just said "hello" i needed to confirm once again i have called Kovo hair. Person offered me a time, we agreed on time, then she said no actually come in at another time that didnt suit me, so i just left it. She called me back again, i missed her call, left a message for her to call me back, and have not heard back. Going somewhere else today to have the hair cut i actually wanted in the first place. Do not recommend. expensive, poor quality, poor service.

Kylie gave me a technically excellent haircut, and what's more, she books in complimentary tidy-up appointments after three weeks. Highly recommended.
