This place is run by a nonprofessional for sure. I wish I had never joined this gym. I will definitely be going elsewhere as should any of you reading reviews to decide on a place to workout. The management is horrible and rude. There is almost never any staff there, when they are, they are rude. I was told that not all of these gyms honor the premium package for a guest to workout with you except for your home location. They literally kick you out if you don't have knowledge of this. Reasons why you shouldn't go to this gym 1. No airflow/only one fan is on in cardio section and it's on low. There is no airflow as the AC is rarely on and there is never a breeze and if it IS on its 75 to 78 degrees. It's never a cold breeze. The air is musty, dusty and stagnant. 2. It smells terrible. Thanks to the moldy stagnant air. 3. The air vents are caked with dust. Hence, no air flow. 4. It is extremely HOT and humid in there. Makes your workout insufferable. 5. The two flatscreens over the dumbbell rack have been broken for over 2 years. Flatscreens are cheap these days. With every member paying their monthly dues, you'd think they'd simply replace the two tvs. Makes it very awkward in between sets just looking at broken black tvs. 6. Overall it is a dirty gym. You can tell nothing has EVER been deep cleaned. The equipment has never been wiped down in detail-in between. The dumbbell rack is disgusting. Use warm soapy water or a cleaner and clean the dust and dried sweat from the front/bottom of the treadmills. Clean the legs of every machine. I will say the young lady who works there does a fantastic job cleaning the bathrooms and vacuuming. Other than that you can tell the owners do not update/upgrade or deep clean anything. The owners simply do not care about the sanitary upkeep of this gym and it shows. At least get some decent fresh airflow in there at the bare minimum. Also, it doesn't matter what the owners decide to say in response to this. Everything I said is true. You can't deny the obvious neglect of this gym. Go there yourself and workout and you will see how disgusting and hot it is. read more

Reviewed I've been going here for 2 years, I was sorry to have to leave (moving) until they screwed me. You have to pay a "rate guarantee fee" to ensure they don't increase the price on you for the next year. You pay it when you sign up and at the beginning of each year of being there, mine is paid on November 1st. I tried to cancel my membership and they require 30 days notice - fine. That puts me as a member until November 7. They still want me to pay the $39 rate guarantee fee for the FOLLOWING YEAR that I won't be there bc I've ALREADY cancelled. It's a 6 day difference. The best I got from the email contact, Tammie, was "must pay everything posted as due in the remaining 30 days". And that's how they do business. Because they charge me annually for the NEXT year of rate guarantee on 11/1 Not to mention I had to do this online bc I called (during business hours) and no one is there, I go there... and no one is there. SO - had someone been there when I first attempted to cancel my membership, I would've avoided the rate fee. If you tan or use the massage chairs, don't bother going here. They can't keep anyone employed and no one has consistently worked here for months. A guy comes in for a couple of hours here and there to refill spray bottles and paper towels, other than that they do NOT have staff there during the hours they claim are staffed. ive been a member 6 years me and my one son my wife and 3 0ther kids on and off been on a family plan wanted to add my wife back on it and was told it was no longer available i would have to pay what i pay for both me and my son a month to get her a membership guess this is why the staff has been cut in half there was no drinking water for 2 weeks available massage machine was also down 3 months parts missing off machines the reason they will not honor my existing membership family plan is because some one with a family plan let a bunch of people in and trashed the place i was told but i was told at sign up i can add remove people any time i wanted just saying no grand father clause seriously yet i still get the same price locked in i dont get it one bit not very happy with upper management read more

My husband and I have been a member since Winder location opened. We would always come during staff hours so that we can tan. However the past year and half the staff is never there to let you tan. So we purchased our own tanning bed and started coming to gym later in night as more convenient, HOWEVER, every night between 9:00 and 11:30 pm the groups of kids come in with ALL their buddies and take up all the equipment. NONE OF THEM SCAN KEY! So it's a lose-lose for us! Now for the past 3 months the door does not even lock unless pushed really hard so it is open for EVERYONE.. No MEMBERSHIP NEEDED. We come at 10:00 and door always open. It's like no one cares here. Us paying customers get the crap end of the stick. So we are cancelling and going to another gym. Always clean and great staff. I have been coming for a year and have never had an experience. Will continue to come for a while

Although I like the convenience of where the gym is located and they do have a nice variety of equipment to use, lately it seems they have no manager running the place. The gym doesn't seem very clean to me lately either. Machines don't appear to be wiped down much by staff, just relying on the people using them isn't enough especially when some people just plain don't do it. The carpet doesn't always look vacuumed either. I would like to think that where I am working out is a clean place. read more

Not one to do this but the lack of professionalism and customer service has bothered me enough. Long story short there was a glitch in thier system to where I couldn't cancel my membership through thier portal. Wasted my gas and time making multiple visits and called 5 days in a row before the manager would even speak to me. Was told the only way to cancel was through the portal. Lo and behold the manager did cancel my membership like she could the whole time after ignoring me for a week. However, I'm being charged me for an extra month because of thier systems error. The manager then had the audacity to continue to blame me and refuse a refund. When I asked to speak to the owners she said that's not possible and she I quote "Speaks for the owners". I believe her name was Tammy and if she truly speaks for the owners this isn't a place I would consider doing business with. It is also note worthy that this specific location has multiple open reviews and complaints describing the exact same experience as mine on the Better Business Bureau website. read more

The gym is okay, it's small but affordable. I personally have had a bad experience with Workout Anytime, I cancelled my gym membership and they continued to charge me for 6 months!!! I had to go back to cancel it again and eventually got my money back but just realized that they have still been charging every month. This is ridiculous, there is no reason I have to drive back there for a mistake they keep making. I would look elsewhere unless you plan to stay with this gym. read more
