Poor communication, rude and unfriendly attitude The people…read moreat the front desk are very rude and customer unfriendly. I had 2 free passes from the advertisement they did on Facebook. Day 1 - I faced no concerns and they also confirmed that I have another free pass that I can use. When I come the next day, they refuse to honor the second day free pass. They did not even bother to see my free pass email that was unused. They showed no commitment about the confirmation their own staff gave me that I have another free pass. The manager was not present and did not pick up the call. They are just making fool of people with false information. Waste of time. Beware of joining them. The only reason I was planning to join this gym was because of proximity to my home. I would rather go to other gyms who are much more friendly.

I haven't trained with her a day in my life nor had a long conversation, however, since the beginning-she has always had a contagious smile and energy about herself that makes you love her and want to know who she is! The amenities are great, and I've really enjoyed the variety of classes offered. I haven't tried all of the classes, but my favorites have been BodyPump, yoga/yogalates, Spin, and especially Burn on the Turf with Deeno. His class had an incredible energy--it was challenging, high-energy, unique and he was always encouraging, motivating and would brighten up everyone's day with his vibrant spirit. It was genuinely one of the classes I looked forward to attending regularly. That said, there are a few things that have been disappointing. First, the parking situation can be ridiculous, especially during busy times. I've honestly started wondering if some of the dirt/grass areas could potentially be utilized as overflow parking. Second, I don't understand why they won't change the water filters or consistently have towels available for use. I also recently signed up for one of the personal training promotions. Unfortunately, my trainer was late or canceled on a couple occasions and seemed to have forgotten about my last two 30-minute training sessions. That was disappointing, especially after paying for the package. However, I will say that trainer is very knowledgeable with his gift. I respect him- but not the fact I didn't receive what I paid for. Should be, but it's not a huge deal. Let's just say I won't be paying for more packages in the future. Another thing I've noticed from a member's perspective is what appears to be a noticeable difference in how certain employees are treated. Management may not realize how much customers can see from the outside looking in. Some employees seem to receive significantly more recognition, opportunities, and visibility than others--whether that's consistently being featured on social media or being allowed to host classes that aren't even listed on the app for all paying members. It creates the impression that some employees are valued much more than others, and that's difficult to overlook. As a leader at my own place of work- who leads with humility, these things are very important to me. There isn't one employee who would be able to tell you they are not seen, heard nor valued. Lastly, I was extremely disappointed to hear that Deeno is no longer with OneLife. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to speculate about the circumstances. However, I will say that as a member, it was obvious how much people valued him and his classes. His Bootcamp had a following and brought a level of energy and community that was special. It's genuinely disappointing to lose an instructor who made members excited to show up and work hard. Overall, I still think OneLife is a pretty decent gym with a lot to offer, and I'll continue going for the time being. I just hope management takes some of these concerns into consideration, especially when it comes to recognizing the employees and instructors who make such a positive impact on the members. No one ever wants to leave , we're stronger, better, faster, and happier here. Fun , inviting environment, no pressure. So much to be said.. but it's all about how we feel when we're here.

She's attentive, informative, and quick to help whenever I've had an issue with my Access Key. If you're into powerlifting or Olympic lifting (such as deadlifts, power cleans, or overhead squats), this gym does have the necessary equipment. However, the flooring isn't ideal for slamming weights down. If that's a priority, Crunch Fitness in Athens might be a better fit. Note* If you're a Military Veteran there are perks! None of the cleaners were filled nor was the paper towels or TP. I came in took 6.5 hours cleaning the first day. Then came back every day for the rest of the week. Members seen me and complimented my cleaning duties.. from 5/17/2026-5/24/2026 I've worked a total of 17.5 hours @$15.00 an hour.. which I considered a deal. I've yet to receive any pay!! Him and his dad refused to pay me!! All I ask for is what I'm owed! I will not enter that gym due to the lack of care to the gym or its members!!! PAY ME WHAT I AM OWED!! The manager at my other gym mentioned that they were opening this one up here in downtown Lawrenceville. Planet fitness for the longest time has gotten a rep for not quite measuring up to the gym experience of other well-known popular gyms. Well I'm here to tell you as a person that's worked out at several gyms in my life. I am loving the investment that the group that owns these particular franchises have made in a better consumer experience. Every time I step into the gym it's extremely clean and because it's so new I never have any problems getting to a machine. Anytime my family and I come in for a workout. What I love most is that this location is one of only a few that actually have turf that is going to be installed for any individuals that like to do push-pull workouts like I do To buy a black card membership is an absolute steal if you can get it for $20 a month which they had a promotion for presale that I was able to catch. And I'm extremely happy that this location is here. Of course they have all of the normal planet fitness amenities such as the Black card, spa, showers, lockers. The closest gym in the area that is similar to this one is crunch fitness and I like this gym a lot better because fortunately crunch fitness and LA fitness which are both in the vicinity are often crowded with 20-year-olds and their need to film their entire workout on a selfie stick, which I've almost tripped over a few times.
