I joined Forge-Rx after being a member of the larger gym in town. That particular gym did not have enough equipment for enrollment size. Forge RX is a smaller, family owned gym. The owners are good people. I do like that they have several sets of dumbbells, so you aren't waiting for people to finish their set (most women use 10 to 25 lbs. There are many sets throughout the gym). They keep the gym clean, which is a major plus to me. They take pride in their gym. The only minor issue I had was I was working out in the smaller weight area behind the front desk & the young lady came and fumigated the area w Lysol as I was working out. It's not something I want to deeply inhale as I'm "in the zone". The lockers in the female locker room are hit or miss w the locks working & a lot of people just leave their stuff there on a permanent basis making it hard to find an empty locker sometimes to secure your belongings. It is a smaller gym, so there is no hip abuctor machine or leg curl. There is only one smith machine which is popular. There are a lot of teenagers that work out as a group here and take a good bit of time on the machines doing their sets. Which, it's good to see them engaged in a healthy lifestyle, I just wish there were more machines. They do offertraininh classes and nutrition guidance (for a fee). I have not used these services, but my neighbor does and she looks absolutely amazing. They do have a smaller infared sauna that you can pay extra for. Just be sure to schedule your time to ensure you get to use it. I take my own bath towel & sweat it all out. (They have smaller, hard sized towels to sit on) The area is kept very clean & I have seen the health benefits already. Overall, I enjoy this gym verses the others in town & if you're looking for a lot of weight loss, it appears to me that their coaching programs are worth it and small enough that you get personalized attention. read more

Been going for close to a month now and this is without a doubt the best gym I've been to , I've been to about 4 different commercial gyms in the last 5ish years around the Winder area and this gym just has it all and more. Trust me when I say that you don't get a better offer anywhere else, $25 a month for a gym that has equipment you wouldn't find at other gyms at the same price. There's even availability for personal trainers and nutritional coaching (from what I've seen) and even hormone therapy overseen by a doctor! (where else would you find that?) People here are some of the friendliest and welcoming I've seen at a gym and you won't have to deal with over crowded equipment and rowdy crowds. Yes, the gym itself isn't as giant as a LA Fitness or a Lifetime but if you're in the search for a more than reasonably priced gym that has everything you'd need then this is the best gym in the area. read more

Evan the owner will steal from you and then gaslight you once you go off on him about it. I sent email to him telling him to F off and now he's posting it everywhere to try and me look like the bad person after he STOLE from me. On top of that he has zero licensing for his child care or lack of. Most the time when you bring your kid in they won't have staff to watch the child even though you pay for it. He changes policies and then throws them in your face when you say you never knew about them. And no EVAN I'm not harrassing you, I'm posting truthful reviews on all social media sites because that's my right especially after you stole from me. Be aware they will charge you and twice in a month AND charge you for cancellatio before even submitting any paperwork. His only response is to repost my email where I tell him to F off from stealing from me, like a child. And no hunny, posting social media reviews isn't harassment, but after me blocking your company and you finding me on your personal account to contact me IS harrassment. AND me telling you and your establishment to F OFF especially once you stole from me is freedom of speech hun so you have zero grounds to do sht. Learn your laws before you continue to argue with me all over social media like a ignorant child. And I didn't text a staff member. Evan is the owner and is pretending to not be which is even weirder lol. And yes I call OSHA and Board of Labor on you, in fact I've already filed a consumer complaint about the lack of licensing and proper watch of children in your establishment. I have been going to Forge Rx for about 2 years now. I love the atmosphere there! This is not a place where you will find high-pressure coaches or people, everyone challenges themselves as they see fit (pun intended) and that is what I like about this gym. The machines are new and they all work, there is always space available and I personally take advantage of the group classes, which are my favorite: once you find a group of people you "click" with, you just want to keep going back and challenge yourself with a bit of friendly competition of course! The trainers are always welcoming of questions and never offer an "up-sale" that you might see in other places. Staff is friendly, as they are not overworked with a 24-7 schedule like other places. My husband and I just moved to Winder. We were looking for a gym for myself. I have a torn acl and wanted to find a gym for light workouts. I saw forge rx and thought this place was perfect. I was given a tour and the packages were broken down to me. We agreed that I would do a 5 day trial before starting my membership( which would be $100 a month). I came in one day to workout and skipped a few days due to anniversary. I came in today for my second day of the trial. I walked in and noone was behind the desk. I looked in a few rooms and didn't see the owner. I decided to workout and just let the owner know afterwards that today was my day 2. (Because I have integrity) As soon as I got ready to workout the owner comes to me and says that I needed to go and start my membership now because I am just using their gym for free. I was very confused. I asked him what was he talking about. He said, I was only supposed to get a 5 day trial. I kept telling him that I understood that and that it was only day 2 of trial. He than says , so you don't have $25? Really!... I said No! not to give today. My husband is an officer and retired veteran and I say this with all thanks to God and humility, but nothing in our income bracket says that I need to sneak into a gym to workout. We just brought a brand new house and I explained that I would start my membership on the 15th, due to husband getting paid on 1st and 15th and how have our finances structured. The owner was very rude and he never apologized for how he talked to me, but kept saying best of luck. Anytime fitness will get my money, because I would rather go somewhere that respects its customers without a five day trial. This family business will continue to be a small family business until you respect your customers and treat them as humans and not criminals. Blessings read more

This place is amazing! By going to their classes in just 1 week I am seeing the best results I've ever had! The instructors are kind and helpful, the gym is really really nice, equipment is very new, people that go this gym are friendly too! Showers, childcare, classes... this place has it all! I just signed up and the best part is this gym is month to month no upfront annual commitments! I wish I could give 10 stars I'm now addicted to the gym and it's affordable! $25 bucks a month! read more

Shoutout to Evan Pohl at Forge-Rx!! I came across an ad on FB for a 21 day challenge. I went ahead and decided to do it. I had lost a good bit due to getting off a medication that had blown me up, treating some medical conditions, and some life style changes. But I had around 10 stubborn lbs I COULD NOT get rid of.
