I've worked in the fitness industry for years, and I can honestly say I was impressed with this place. For a small town gym operated by the hospital, they really have a lot of equipment! I can only think of maybe two machines that I would like to see added. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and there is a wide variety of ways to get your fitness on. There is even a childcare. Having worked in the fitness industry, I know that normally in gyms, the staff is trained to sell, sell, sell. I did not get this vibe at ALL here, and it was very refreshing. I'm guessing maybe because it is run by the hospital, the employees aren't forced to hit high quotas or work off commission. Whatever the reason is, it is nice. They are there if you need them, but the staff never tries to pressure you into joining or buying things you don't need. The only thing I would change would be later hours, especially on weekends. But I am a bit of a night owl. :)

This facility is small, and under staffed. The equipment is…read morein need of replacing. They have 3 elliptical machines, 2 of which have been out of service for I know 4 months! The other is so loud it can be heard over the blaring music and classes being held behind the partition. Several of the other machines need padding replaced or recovered. And a shoulder machine ( I believe) isn't adequately bolted. Tanning is available - only during staffed hours, which is not convenient if you can't get there by 6pm. It is very clean, and has 24hr. access for members. Rates could be better given the state of the equipment. Either drop rates and keep said equipment or fix it! Convenient location and no judgement atmosphere.

The turf area is super cool for training one on one, yoga/stretching, body weight exercises, etc.! I have yet to try the group fitness classes out that are held in the group fitness room but maybe in the future! They are relocating to a newer and I would assume larger facility on county line, which just makes the drive a few minutes longer but I don't mind at all. They informed all of the patrons that all new equipment would be placed in the new Madison location, which is great! Another cool thing that I hope they're continuing is the smoothie bar in the front, I haven't had one yet but I've been wanting to try one. I also think its great that the womens (and I would assume mens) locker rooms have multiple bathroom stalls, showers, lockers of all sizes, and a sauna! Theres also multiple tanning beds and its a 24 hr facility! A very chill laid back atmosphere where everyone is actually committed to working out and nobody bothers you. This branch offers several amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor walking track, basketball gym, fitness gym, exercise classes, child watch (8 weeks -12 years) and youth after school and summer programs. Each time I visit, my experience has been consistently positive. The staff at this branch are very friendly and overall the facility is clean and well-maintained without signs of overcrowding.

When they called me regarding the situation they stated they just noticed he had environmental allergies (he has multiple environmental allergies stated) but did not tell me he played in the grass, till I later asked them. I had to leave work early to pick him up, and he had a severe allergic reaction, as he practically went into anaphylactic shock. I had to miss work the very next day to take him to the doctor to make sure his organs were still functioning appropriately. I paid $100 for two days with no refund. I emailed the director of the holiday camps about this situation, where she has yet to reply acknowledging the situation.
